Ok, I saw Bot's post, I did not play 2-02 and I have my Mystic free so here I am. The sheet for sign up's has been filled.
Hey Bot Behind The Screen, AgentEclipse, DoubleGold & Supersuperlative good to see you all. Unfortunately, none of my front lines are available so here comes my Mystic.

Hello! I saw a space had opened up in this game and I was hoping to be able to join.
I'm a bit on the other end of levels as you but it didn't seem to negatively sway the tiers so I hope that is all fine!
I'll be playing my generally supportive, condition healing envoy. I'm looking forward to this!

Great to see you all found us!
I'm looking forward to this one. Will be fun with a nice mix of players both new and familiar to me.

The Bot Behind the Screen |

Looks like we've got a full party ready to roll.
Doublegold - Frinke - Soldier 3
TheRealThom - Tofana - Operative 3
Agent Eclipse - Dr Mavrik - Mechanic 3
Supersuperlative - Spike - Mystic 4
Farol - Saeron - Mystic 4
Zynete - Teka - Envoy 6
That puts us pretty squarely in low tier. Once we hit official start time (which I think is in a couple of hours) feel free to go ahead and introduce yourselves to one another in the gameplay thread. I'll probably start off a little slow for my own sanity given the simultaneous starts of everything including specials, but once everything is underway I'll bring it up to a good pace.
Your briefing will be taking place in the Lorespire Complex so you can all begin your introductions there as you await your meeting with VC Arvin.

@GM - just a note Saeron is of Supersuperlative and Spike is mine ;) I don't think it make any difference but just saying ;)

@Zynete - what a small world. First we end up in the same PF2 special and now here. Good to be playing with you.
Excellent! It will be great to play with you here as well!

I didn't specify this, but the first square I moved was actually diagonal, then bottom right. I suspected a large creature might have reach. In terms of movement that is 15 feet, but in terms of reach that still might be 10 feet.

...
@Tofana: Although that didn't hit, I think your listed damage is a bit low. I believe you should be adding your full level to damage with weapon specialization for sniper weapons rather than half.
I believe you are right. I'll fix that. Nice catch. I think it's an error in PCgen.

Woo! Thank you!
Profession chef: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Since this adventure took place in Near Space or the Vast, Teka will return some of the weapons we recovered for study: 2 checkboxes for Inside Manufacturer: Research and Destruction.

Seems like we are going to be constantly running from this thing. Isn't there any way we can defeat this thing at the level we are at?

![]() |

Now, a bit of metagaming on my part here, but I noticed that the "Horrifying Nanite Monstrosity of Absolute Devastation" has changed to "Weakened Nanotech Golem" in the initiative.
Since none of us have actually hit it (that I recall?), is there an in game way we can determine if and/or what change has / has not taken place? Perception or other skill check?
Or has this already been covered and I missed it somewhere? Or are you just messing with us? LOL

![]() |

Ah, yes I saw those too, now that you mention it. I guess this one seemed more ... timely. Wishful thinking, I suppose!
Thanks for the reply. And giving us some fairly solid nudges with regard to our chances of going toe-to-toe.

Sorry again for the absence. Just woke up from like 15 hours of sleep due to this new medicine.
I figured when the scenario menitoned this thing could take out superior Starfinder agents...that we had to either run till we get away or find a key item to stop it.

I normally make the Day Job roll when I post my boons... went back to check and noticed that I never posted my Boons. :/ Sorry about that.
Unless a specific scenario suggests otherwise, I generally have Budding Media Celebrity as the Social boon (+5 to day job rolls for Icons), but understand if you don't allow it as I didn't declare my boons earlier.
Once more, my apologies for the oversight.
Profession (video personality): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 extra +5 if boon allowed

Now that we are done, I looked at scenario, cause I was curious about the golem. By the way, it is possible to kill the nanite golem, but the scenario conclusion plays out as if you did not. This would require grenades and explosive weapons to make sure you hit it every time, as well as everyone pitching in. Of course, you'd be credit broke killing him and everyone would have to be close to level 6 to make sure he doesn't one shot you all and TPK. And everyone would want to spread out two.

Guys, sorry for my absence. Had internet issues at home and work's been brutal.
Also sorry, I didn't realize that the nanite golem had an AoO available against our brave last defenders. I thought we were through the door and done.
DebugAMP, thanks for running the scenario. It's one of the more harrowing ones. And everyone else, thanks for playing. I enjoyed your characters. I hope to play with you all again in the future.

Who wants to give one of their characters an SS-JA faction and replay this scenario to kill the golem with me? For fun. Of course, it would be a group of people who have all played this before, so as not to ruin the fun. We all buy explosive guns, not grenades to minimize the credit cost.

Thanks GM BBTS. All looks good on my end!
Thanks also for running the scenario. It felt edge-of-the-seat the whole way!
It was great getting to use so many of Saeron's abilities. It is rare that she gets to do much healing.
Thanks to my fellow players as well. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's characters. Hope to play with you all again some time.

Chronicle looks good, thanks
@DG - I have characters with replay boon but not the ones that would be good fighting this thing
@GM - thanks for running this scenario. It was something else that is for sure. I am so used to the fact that in scenarios there is a monster that you can beat, that I could not believe till the last moment that we will not kill it :D I liked the feel of the scenario and the investigative parts when we found the datapads. I was hoping that the information will be valuable in any way.
Good scenario, good game. I enjoyed it and for that thank you @GM. Btw. I am almost at the end of my PC's so soon you will start to see my PC's for the second time :P
