I am fairly new to PFS 2nd Edition, but have GM'd a fair bit for Pathfinder 1st Ed. I have copied this from GM Numbat's intro (I think), made slight alterations and hope it sets expectations that I and you can live up to. My attitudes to life where first molded in the 1960/70s, but I try keep up, however your understanding if I get things wrong is appreciated. I have a pretty liberal outlook on life.
What you Can Expect from Me:
1. I GM for the players, not against them. Meaning I don’t view my role as an adversary and rather view my role as a means for a group of players to have fun.
2. I will run scenarios as written (or as-FAQ’ed).
3. I will post regularly, at least once every 24 hours. If 48 hours have passed and I have not said anything in discussion tab then please PM me to remind me you are waiting.
4. I will do my best to help new players understand the game, especially when they are asking questions. In return I hope experienced 2E GM's playing in the game will aid me when I misunderstand any rule.
5. If an issue is brought to my attention I will do my best to mediate/resolve it.
My Expectations:
The following applies to my games. By signing up to play you agree to these rules.
1. Bullying is not tolerated regardless of whom it is directed at.
2. If you need any accommodations for this game please post in discussion or PM me directly. I will try my best to make accommodations so the game is accessible and a positive experience.
3. I expect posts within 24 hours of an actionable post by me. E.g. combat rounds. This includes weekends.
4. Please let me know either in PM or in the Discussion thread if you will have a prolonged absence. And if you have an emergency, please let me know as soon as reasonably possible.
5. I do not bot characters for absent players. After 24 hours of inactivity, the character goes on indefinite delay/non-action.
6. The exception to #5 is if you tell me ahead of time that you will be gone (or as soon as reasonably possible afterwards in the case of emergencies). However, my botting will be bare bones. You may also proactively arrange with another player to bot you during anticipated absences, but they must also agree to it.
7. Do not look under spoilers for anything I post unless it has your name on it. I consider this cheating. Under no circumstances are you to look under the GM screen spoilers, as this is akin to looking over my shoulder in a face-to-face game. Only look under spoilers if they are in response to a check, e.g. Nature DC=15 and your roll succeeds at the check. The same for saves, only uncover the appropriate spoiler.
8. If you suspect foul play, or if you have an issue with me/another PC, then please make it known to me via PM and I will attempt to mediate/address the situation.
9. I will, on occasion, do character audits. More details will be provided if this occurs, but the gist of it is that I would be requesting chronicles and/or looking for proof of ownership for any source material outside of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, the Pathfinder Bestiary, or the Lost Omens World Guide that your PC uses.
10. Please see 'Character Sheets' below for my expectations on character sheets.
Character Sheets:
I prefer one of these options:
• PbP Template
• Charon's PF2 Character sheet
• HeroLab generated PF2 Character sheet, as in Lini and Valeros
Regardless of the character sheet used, It needs to be made available to me by linking the sheet in your character header. I also expect the header still provide the info from the PbP Template 'header' section. An example: Victus
