Sounds like when I went to high school. I think in my senior year there was a fight every day for the first month or so. Hopefully, your fighting dies down before then.

Since we're now back in "civilization" and can do shopping, Ardan has access to his Wealth trait.
For rescuing him, he shows his gratitude by giving each member of the team 1,000 credits. Enjoy!
In addition, Ardan has the Connections trait, which allows him to purchase most restricted goods without worrying about licensing, so if there's something you want...

I did some shopping. I bought a sporting blaster because Liscensed seems easier to deal with then buying a restricted blaster.
But I have two questions. First, what do I pay for the Liscence?
Second, it is Accurate which indicated it took no penalties in the first range increment. Does that include non-proficiency penalties?

Licensing is always a percentage of the firearm.

License fee is 5% of the item’s cost. (For a sporting blaster, that’s 15 cr.)
Accurate doesn’t remove non-proficiency penalty, only range penalty. Jedi don’t use blasters unless you spend a feat for proficiency with them!

I am probably not going to ever be proficient with the blaster, but I am currently in hiding so the lightsaber will not always be a wise option and my Consular powers need work before I can use them all the time.

The initial 500 was synthrope, 2 harnesses, mesh tape and a few other things.
The additional money would be used to grab food, fuel, spare parts along with additional medpacs and surgery stuff for healing.

I have 400 I can put in once we gather and plan out our purchases. That gives me a few credits for food and stuff later.

I'll just front another 500 for expenses, don't sweat it.
Also, just to add to the fun, when you get licensed gear, you have to actually go through the hoops to get the license, which is a DC 10 Knowledge (Bureaucracy) check that takes 1 day. If you fail the check, your application for a permit is denied and you lose the fee, though you can try again. You can't take 10 or 20 on this check. You can use Persuasion instead if you try to bribe someone (but that may be more expensive) or Deception if you steal someone else's identity. This is harder and more expensive if the item isn't just Licensed but is actually Restricted, Military, or Illegal, as described under Restricted Items.
As usual, since I have the Connections talent, I can get anything that costs 3,000 cr or less without needing to get a license, even if it's restricted, military, or even illegal.
If you get a permit, this does leave a data trail. Imperial authorities can figure out that you purchased something in a particular place. Another good reason to have Ardan get things for you through connections—they're not traceable.

@ GM, I think we are going on the Assumption that those we pulled out of the prison are going to get the remainder of the cash in leu of those that dropped the game.
The math is still the same of them getting 1900 and change (See Gameplay for exact amount)

Also remember that someone has to carry all of this stuff! For instance, Ardan carries a medpac, because he can use it to treat injuries, but a full-on Medical Kit, like the kind that you need to Revive a dying character, is backpack-sized and weighs 20 kilos.

Nice! So I'm seeing 1966cr as the reward, subtracting 500 from that leaves 1466, and adding another 1000cr for Ardan's generous offer leaves Sebbik with 2466 credits to spend, if I've got that right.
I'm thinking a speeder bike as well, maybe he'll get to use his Pilot skills after all! And it sounds like that Connections ability makes it so we can choose military, restricted and illegal equipment, but we do NOT need to spend credits on those license fees, correct? Thanks!

Any thing else, like a Medical Kit, I was looking at using to stock a room as an infirmary. The first aid can keep someone alive until we get them to the ship.
Yes, a Bacta tank would be best, but we cannot afford that right now.

I have had several characters run around with different levels of bombs. It can be a lot of fun. My favorite is still the explosive watch from Spycraft. Although a bag of dynamite in Deadlands can go some wacky fun places.
