I created a second build for the ship which is more of a straight up gun boat, and even has a turret! This is easily the more fun ship to play during space combat, because let's face it, Science officers are lame.
Both versions below:

Version 1: Subtle Knife (features: Sensors, Medical Bay, Tech Bay, Computer, Armor)

Version 2: Gray Hawk (features: gun turret, coil guns port and starboard, basically lots of guns)

I recommend if you want to play with the template, use the MAKE A COPY link on the first tab of the worksheet.


I will have a proper discussion and game play thread started for our Against the Aeon Throne game later today. Slides are also forthcoming, including some use of the new alien planet flip tiles (they're cool!).

Meanwhile, the ship building program looks great!

Any of these ships should work well for you. Obviously a couple of different philosophies in their builds.
