Nathaniel the Bull |

Round 11
Nathaniel gives a thumbs up to Blue; as the two do go their own way!
The Were-shark turns to listen to Shad, but he doesn't understand the words that are coming out of his mouth. Nathaniel then gives him a thumbs up; before advancing up the opposite steps to the bow, port, stupid ass of the ship, boat, vessel!
He takes some cover behind the pole, mast, wooden log that stands straight up. The Were-shark kin then yells at the Green pirate that has been a thorn in the grippli's side.
Hey, Asshat! Why not come here and feed me, Seymore!
Intimidate: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Nathaniel grins sheepishly...

Round 10
Cordelia continues to fire acid splashes, but her aim remains poor.
Round 11
Shad rakes the spotter before him with one claw attack.
The sailor by Ganymeades swings again:
Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 2) + 1 = 4
and misses this time!
Stabilize: 1d20 ⇒ 10
The boarding repeller steps up and swings his pike at Heskavar:
Pike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 But misses!
Heskavar runs the spotter between himself and Shad through and the man falls to the ground!
The remaining spotter fighting Biligup attempts to step forward onto the steps:
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Having moved nimbly enough he lets loose two more attacks at Biligup:
Cutlass: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Handaxe: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 But the swashbuckler easily dodges back out of the way!
Nathaniel moves and attempts unsuccessfully to taunt the pirate fighting Biligup.
Another acid splash from Cordelia misses her target. I don't think you've rolled more than a 5 on those!

Round 11
Grin catches the bruises in front of him, and narrowly misssing the man's neck, he nonetheless stands staggered from the blow.
Ganymeades misses then steps back.
Zeebu takes the opening to put a bolt through that bruiser's eye and drop him to the deck! Killing blow for Zeebu, regen 1 Grist if missing
Oreana quickly stems the bleeding of the merchant at her feet.
The remaining Bruiser stumbles, trying to move into the mist away from Grin and Barrett. AOOs

Cordelia Firth |

Cordelia attempts another acid splash
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Shad Ogroshk'ik |

Shad looks at the Pirate and sneers at him, blood dripping from his mouth. he says Look around you. Youre done for! It wont be long now. and the Sahuagin takes a potion from his belt and drinks it. The majority of the wounds heal as Shad shows that Blood frenzy doesnt mean stupid and he smiles menacingly at the Human.... He secures the spear and crossbow that had been trailing on kelp lines.
cure light wounds potion: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Nathaniel the Bull |

Round 12
Nathaniel is grateful that Biligup seems too busy staying alive to notice his hiccup of an intimidation attempt. The Were-shark then moves closer to Green for a bit of a bite!
Melee Bite, War Blessing, Divine Favor, bless: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 91d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 = 9
Divine Favor=0 Rounds; War Blessing +1 attack and damage this round= 0 Rounds

Biligup Deepcroak |

If only the little Grippli had noticed the failed attempt on the skinwalker's behalf to try and intimidate the pirate, they would have lessons. The little frog could be surprisingly intimidating for one so adorably sized.
Instead though, he continued to fight as hard as he could against the spotter and avoid his cutlass and axe. Rushing back in, he would stand over the fallen gnoll's body to protect it and put the pressure on the pirate as well.
Move 10ft to engage the pirate with some good ol' flanking bonuses.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 2 = 26
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Critical Threat: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Critical Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Maybe another point of panache

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Round 11
Both Grin and his companion miss as the pirate escapes their grasp.
Round 12
Shad drinks a potion, healing some of his wounds.
The shipmate steps around to reach Ganymeades again:
Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4) + 1 = 6 Miss!
Biligup swipes, stabbing the spotter well! Crit, regain panache
The boarding repeller ducks his head down and rushes at Heskavar! [oooc]Bull Rush with improved[/ooc]
CMB: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
He succeeds in pushing the Adaro back, but only by five feet heskavar finding himself stopped by the railing!
The spotter swipes once at Biligup and once at Nathaniel:
Cutlass: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 1 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 hit!
Hand Axe: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 hit!
Confirm: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Hit, but not critical
So, Biligup is potentially down here, but just getting Panache back may have wanted to attempt the parry (would be hard, but I'll allow the attempt)
The staggered bruiser begins to move down the steps.

Biligup Deepcroak |

God Tier Parry?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Biligup stabs the sailor in the side hard, bringing a victorious smile to his face. Yet the pirate spins with terrible speed and strength. He aims his buckler up high to parry the blow but the attack sweeps incredibly low, passing under the shield.
"Oh dear..." The young Grippli thinks moments before the cutlass catches him across the chest, ripping apart clothing and spraying red onto the bloodied deck. He stumbles back a few steps, the rapier falling from his hand, as he looks down.
"Huh, that's unexpected..." Biligup murmurs out before slumping against the fallen gnoll, his eyes desperately trying to stay open but failing before Nathaniel. "Go...get him...sharky..."
Failed the parry. That drops Biligup to a -7

Everyone can take their Round 13 actions now! Grin and Oreanna still have round 12 actions which by the map I assume are moves in some direction, and Zeebu still has a round 12 attack to make

Zeebu |

Zeebu keeps shooting at the closest enemy (or, if any enemy is disengaged in melee, at such) as if there was no tomorrow, hoping the combat is closer to a resolution.

Heskavar Stormswimmer |

I don't appear to have taken a round 12 action yet. I'll go ahead and do that now.
Round 12:
Heskavar grunts as he is pushed against the railing of the ship, not having expected the pike-wielding pirate to have tried that attack. Pushing away from the rail and finding his balance again, he steps back towards them, moving to where he can't as easily be pushed off the ship altogether nearly as easily. As he moves, he concentrates for a moment, after which his skin seems to thicken somewhat and shade slightly more towards green. He then stabs at the pirate with his trident.
Using Swift Action to activate Animal Focus, using the Turtle Focus to gain a +2 Natural Armor bonus to AC for 1 minute.
Trident: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage (P): 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Animal Focus rounds remaining: 9
As the Boarding Repeller that Heskavar is fighting goes before him, I'll refrain from posting my next round until his actions (if any) are resolved.

Oreana Del'Aandarth |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Oreana moves back to her companions (Round 12 - double move) before channeling the energy of the sea to heal their wounds.
Sealord: 1d6 ⇒ 5
From her positioning, Ganymeades, Heskavar and Shad should heal 5.

Nathaniel the Bull |

Round 13
Feeling real lucky all of a sudden, the Were-kin attempts to tear into Green!
Melee Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 131d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The Warpriest then steps back 5' to cast another War Blessing!

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Round 12
Grin and Oreanna move.
Zeebu fires, hitting the bruiser that was fleeing down the stairs, taking advantage of the target outside melee combat, and he falls to the ground!
Sorry I missed you Heskavar
Heskavar concentrates to harden his skin with his animal focus, then stabs at the repeller with his trident, but the point clanks against the studded leather armor.
Round 13
Grin and Barrett make it across to the other side, and stab the remaining pirate there, but only the croc succeeds in biting, and the pirate goes down!
Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6 Miss!
Stabilize: 1d20 ⇒ 5 Biligup does not stabilize.

Boarding Pike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 miss!
Zeebu takes aim at the remaining pirate fighting Ganymeades and catches him in the gut, dropping him!

Pending bold in Round 13 still; only the boarding repeller is left on the deck- but you know there is fighting in all of the underdeck/behind door compartments of both ships. Coredllia and Nathaniel had target killed ahead of their actions in the round so they can switch.

Cordelia Firth |

I can switch targets but a 7 is still a miss though so I don't think it changes much :(

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

I don't think there are any left within range of you Cordelia so I assumed you probably would switch to a move

Shad Ogroshk'ik |

Shad felt the potion easing the pain in his body and then a sprinkle of belessed water had washed the remaining injuries away and his grin was without mirth but far more sinister as he looked at the sailor with menace. He was prey.
The Frenzy still upon him he rushed forward towards the human If he has a reach weapon he gets an AoO
He slashed out with a claw, feeling it slice through skin. he caught the gaze of the pirate...he said simply Ill enjoy eating you
claw attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Nathaniel the Bull |

Round 13 retcon
Nathaniel heaves a sigh of relief as the last pirate finally drops. He then frowns when he notices one left; and the sounds of trouble downstairs, below floor, underdeck.
Looks like we aren't done yet!
The Were-kin noticed the healing aura on the other boat, ship, vessel. He points at Oreana.
Let's hope that she can do that for us too.
He double moves over toward her.
Excuse me, ma'am. But we have had the snot kicked out of us; and it is looking like more will be kicked out downstairs, underdeck, down there.
He points at the stairs leading down below.
Would ya have another of those beautiful auras left?
He does his best to look as pleasant as a Were-shark can look....

Cordelia Firth |

Ah gotcha. Yep, I'll definitely move a bit closer instead now that there are no targets in range.

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Round 13
Shad rushes in and the repeller swings at him:

Failed the stabilization check. I am at -9.

Cordelia Firth |

I don't get access to Stabalize Biligup sorry :(

Round 13
Ganymeades runs and looks own the stairs.
Map is on the next slide; this is a flat interior- just using the map for shape so ignore the stairs/hazards other than the stairs down
Heskavar swings and misses.
Round 14
Grin moves across to the boarding repeller and Heskavar/Shad.
The boarding repeller, finding himself penned in, drops his pike and drawing a dagger stabs at Heskaver:
Dagger: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Damagbe: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Miss!
Heskavar again swings, but misses.
Oreana moves, and meets Nathaniel who is carrying a bleeding Biligup. She stabilizes his wounds. Kind of moved you three to meet in the middle there and have Oreana stabilize him in this round.

He points at the stairs leading down below.
Would ya have another of those beautiful auras left?
He does his best to look as pleasant as a Were-shark can look....
Delaying to see if we can gather for a channel?

Shad Ogroshk'ik |

Shad slides a little to his right positioning the Repeller into a flank and then cuts loose.. The Pirate was dancing around avoiding what he could but for certain 1 claw sliced across the humans chest.

Oreana Del'Aandarth |

Oreana looks a bit embarassed at Nathaniel's request. "Sorry, but it doesn't work like you think... my power comes from the sea and it helps only those with a connection to it..."
Oreana's channel heals only those with either the Aquatic or Water subtypes. It helps about half the party, but not all of them, which is still quite good considering she is a druid and not a cleric.

Nathaniel the Bull |

Nathaniel takes out a mirror. He sees a good-looking, badly beaten shark winking back at him. He turns to look around at the other injured Aquatic Prince's team.
May be worth a go...
The Were-Shark grins.
I thought--during recruitment--that your build was/is fantastic!

Heskavar Stormswimmer |

Round 15:
With nobody left to fight in the immediate vicinity, Heskavar begins sliding his way down the nearby set of stairs in order to head into the nearest cabin of the ship. As he goes down each step, he lets out a faint grunt as his shark-like body falls a few inches onto the wood.
Moved as far as I can this round.

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

We''re pending Round 15 actions here; I know most of these are going to be moves of some type, but if you can declare them please as we are still on a round count "clock" so to speak before other events trigger

Oreana Del'Aandarth |

Nodding at Nathaniel, Oreana channels the sea once more, healing him a bit, but not the grippli.
Sealord: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Biligup Deepcroak |

Biligup begins to breathe a bit easier now after having his wounds looked after, the slash wound staunched for the moment and the bleeding slowed. He was able to safely be put down, amidst the rest of the stabilized sailors on the main deck.
