Special Abilities:

Hydrated Vitality: Oreana gains fast healing 2 for 1 round anytime she submerges completely within a body of natural salt water, fresh water, or brackish water. Stagnant, poisoned, or trapped water (such as an artificial pit or a bag of holding) does not activate this ability. She can heal up to 2 hit points per level per day with this ability, after which it ceases to function.
Sealord (Su): Oreana can channel energy (as a cleric of her druid level) a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier, but only to heal creatures with the aquatic or water subtype or to command them (similar to using the Command Undead feat against undead).
Terrain Chameleon: Oreana can change her coloration to blend in with underwater terrain, mixing browns, grays, and greens to resemble kelp or other natural water plants. As a standard action, she can change her coloration, gaining a +4 bonus on Stealth checks in underwater environments. She can return to normal as a free action.
Wild Empathy (Ex): Oreana can improve the attitude of any creature that have a swim speed or the aquatic or water subtype with Intelligence 2 or less, including mindless creatures. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person and she rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. To use wild empathy, Oreana and the target must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing a creature in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
Wild Mischief (Ex): Oreana can fool an animal into thinking there is food, a potential mate, or a predator nearby. This ability functions just like a Bluff check to deceive a character and she rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier. As with Bluff checks, wild mischief checks are modified depending on the believability of the false information. A typical domestic animal is not particularly suspicious of Oreana (no circumstance modifier), whereas wild animals are usually suspicious (–5 penalty on the check). To use wild mischief, Oreana and the animal must be able to study each other, which means they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but as when influencing people, it could take more or less time. Oreana can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check.

Description and Personality:
Oreana isn't really tall at about five feet and nothing, but what she is is gracious. Her skin is fair, with long bluish hair and blue eyes. She is really beautiful and athletic and almost entirely human in appearance aside from her webbed fingers and discreet gills.

Oreana is friendly and joyful, even if a bit naive about how the world really works. He is also very curious, specially about sea creatures. Like other undines, she has great control of her emotions, so even if her mood can change from calm to anger in seconds, she is usually in control of this change.

Background:
Oreana never knew her birth parents, even if those who know her suspect that her mother was a nereid. Her first years, or even decades of life, are a mystery, since she was literally caught in a net by a fisherman along with many other fishes. The fisherman was an old elf named Irael Del'Aandarth, who always dreamed to have children since his wife died at childbirth.

Irael was a hermit in charge of a lighthouse in a small island on the Fair Lands and he was also a druid. Oreana was raised by Irael and for many years she lived there with him, caring for him as he grew older, until he eventually passed away. Those were happy years and during this time Irael taught Oreana everything he knew about the nature and the seas.

After Irael's death, Oreana decided to leave the small island and travel, eager to learn more about it. Even if not knowing about the large world, he was not unprepared, for her father knew this day would come, so he also thought her all he could so she could survive among others... much of what he thought was useful, even if some other things Oreana decided to openly ignore!

Recently, she has been feeling some sort of calling, something she notices in the winds, the ocean current and on the talk of the fishes... she doesn't know what it is yet, but she is determined to find out.
