Round 4 - Against the Blood Queen - Initiative 2
Rowboat #2 original occupants: +1 morale attack and vs fear 7/10 rds remaining
Munir barks in frustration as he’s held up by one of the pirate defenders, and in turn holds up Nathan below him. Thinking of naught but the blinding glory of the sun, the gnoll lets out a war-howl and tries to push past the repeller’s blows.
”AROOoooOOOoooOWR!”
AC 15 while climbing.
Climb vs DC 5: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 - 2 = 8
Holding the rope in one hand, he stretches the other to the sun and summons another blast of searing-hot wind, this time at the confounding pirate above himself.
Provokes another AoO if defender is threatening his square and has combat reflexes.
Solar Wind vs touch AC: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 + 1 = 22
+1 morale
Damage, Solar Wind: 1d6 ⇒ 4 fire
Crit?: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
+1 morale
Damage, crit: 1d6 ⇒ 1 fire
Standard: second move onto deck if possible; if stopped, solar wind ranged attack; Move: attempting 10’ climb up rope; Swift: none; Free: howling.

Oreana Del'Aandarth |

Out of immediate danger, Oreana concentrates on the life giving aspect of the ocean and her natural connection to the waters. A tiny gob of water appears on the palm of her hand and soon explodes in thousands of droplets. She can quickly feel it healing some of her wounds.
Sealord: 1d6 ⇒ 4
All creatures with the aquatic or water subtypes (Oreana, Ganymeades, Zeebu and Cordelia) heal 4 damage.

Biligup Deepcroak |

Biligup dives out of the way of the pirate's attack, smashing hard into the railing for a moment with a grunt.
"That was close! We need to be faster than that if we're going to survive." His comrades were waiting down below and he needed to get past this man in order to help the others. Lashing out with his rapier again, he sought to bring the pirate down.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
I will use my last two panache in order to keep myself from being skewered if necessary

Riposte #1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 = 1 damage
Parry #2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Zeebu |

Keeping himself from afar, the cecaelia shoots another of his crossbow bolts. While he reckons they're not doing much difference on the overall picture, yet he enjoys the privileged position to understand the battlefield, plan and better understand the individual abilities of his companions.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Round 4
Shad pulls the sailor into the water easily.
Sailor Swim: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 2 = 12 The shipmate can do little else but try to stay above water inside Shad's grasp.
Grin and Barrett make it safely to the top of the ship.
Biligup easily tags the bruiser with his rapier piercing beneath the hide armor.
Cutlass: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 The pirate sailor near Markus slashes and drops the merchant crewmember near him!
The boarding repeller subject to the grease flees, but unsure of the positioning opens himself to attacks. Provokes from Ganymeades, Markus, and Oreanna on his path
The spotter near Billy attacks him:
Cutlass: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
But Billigup easily turns his blade and responds with a poke to the chest!
Myrsko fires his pistol again, and the weapon jams!
Zeebu fires and hits! I assume the one in red by Markus?
Stand Still: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 If you are double moving on a climb you only need to make one check, but the repeller Stand Stills you on the way up so it works out the same
Nathaniel begins to climb, and finds his path blocked by the boarding repeller!
MarkusThe Repeller fled so he's not there to bull rush, you can change your action- keep the 19 for your roll
Oreanna channels the sea, healing her allies.
The Orange bruiser tries to swing at Billi
Cutlass: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 but his blow is ill aimed!
Stand Still: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Munrir gets within the repeller's reach and to the top of the ship!
MunrirThat took a move action; you didn't say what to do if he DIDN'T stop you, so you still have the standard- you can use the roll just declare what you are attacking/with and roll damage and to confirm keeping the 20[ooc]

Munir |

Gaining the deck, Munir draws his longspear and steps up next to Biligup.
Sorry about that! Moved Munir into position on map. Drawing my weapon while moving to Biligup takes my standard action. (May also provoke? If so AC 17 again.) I'm sure Zailor will grant me more 20s :)

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

No, once you get past the standstill there you do not provoke in that move

Markus Finley |

Round 4 Revision
Ducking under the gunshot, Markus comes in low on the injured pirate and smacks him with his mace.
Assuming a 22 will hit
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Mr.Finley clobbers the pirate's chin with an upward sweep of his weapon, possibly breaking his jaw.

Ganymeades Kidemonas |

His first battle, and immediately wounded, fear and concern starting to creep into his mind before being soothed by the healing magic that washed over him. Ganymedes steadies himself before once again lashing out at the pirate next to him.

Heskavar Stormswimmer |

Round 4:
Looking at Shad after the sailor splashes down in the water, he grins and gestures up to the deck. "Go ahead and join the party. Fang and I should be able to take care of this pirate." He then turns to the struggling swimmer. Calling out to Fang, the orca swimming a short distant behind him, he voices a series of clicks that he had trained with the young mammal to mean attack.
He then brings his shield around to face the pirate, before stabbing at them with the trident in his other hand.
Trident: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage (P): 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Cordelia Firth |

Holding action a little to see if Repeller current surrounded kicks the bucket. If he does, the path ahead towards the other ship is clear and I'll have Cordelia move in that direction. If he doesn't die and is still up, I'll have to do something different since my movement would otherwise provoke. I'm last in init order anyway though.

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Round 4
Oreanna misses with her quick slash, but Markus hits the fleeing pirate.
Heskavar and fang both hit the struggling pirate, who goes limp, bleeding out into the water and sinking.
Round 5
Grin slices the bruiser in front of him, and his croc moves around.
One pirate drops his boarding pike, and moves up to swing at Nathaniel with his drawn falchion:
Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 1) + 3 = 5 hit!
The boarding repeller on the south ship withdraws, avoiding attacks to regain the advantage of his reach, while the other who had fleed moves forward and picks up a dagger from a slain merchant.
The spotter fighting Biligup gives a shout of encouragement using his freebooter's bane, then attacks:
Cutlass: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 1 = 17
Handaxe: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8 But both his attacks fails to catch the nimble swashbuckler!
Myrsko climbs the ship, now unopposed by pirates.

Seeing his intended target gone, Nathaniel bites the falchion wielder who just cut him, and the pirate crumples to the floor from the blow! Leaving him on and in red for the round- he's at -2 and dying, but I wanted you to see the positioning where he attacked you from

"Robbed your last ship, friend. You might want to consider surrendering now and maybe you'll just get a branding!" Billigup shouts before striking out at the bruiser.

That closes out Round 5- everyone can post their actions for round 6!

Biligup Deepcroak |

Biligup dodges and weaves underneath the bruiser's cutlass, trying to keep the enemy focused on him. He is unable to move around the man though, unwilling to let the others circle in upon the gnoll. With a quick parry of his shield, he sees an opening and lunges forward.

In a shocking turn of events, Zeebu - yet again - shoots his crossbow.

Hey, it’s better than most of what Myrsko can do at this point :). He doesn’t want to risk his gun exploding.

Myrsko tries climbing the rest of the way up to the ship. At the top, he surveys his surroundings and looks for and weapons near any of the fallen, especially firearms. I was not prepared for this this morning.

Biligup Deepcroak |

Alas, with that last parry, I have no more panache. I need to have panache remaining in order to perform a ripost unless I somehow read that wrong on the class description. I cannot wait to have you, sweet Dex-to-Damage feat...

Lagrin |

Grin moves to help Markus out with the big guy in yellow and takes a swing with his sword, clicking at Barret to follow and attack.
Nodachi attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Oxnard Kettlebeak |

Ah, correct- this hasn't come up before being able to parry but not riposte; you need to score some critical hits!
Grin moves across and slashes the bruiser, and his croc comes in and bites as well, but again these brutes seem to be very hardy and he keeps his feet!

Munir |

Round 6 - Against the Blood Queen - Initiative 2
Rowboat #2 original occupants: +1 morale attack and vs fear 5/10 rds remaining
Seeing Biligup take yet another wound, Munir calls upon the healing warmth of Zailor and reaches towards the grippli, heedless of the nearby bruiser's cutlass.
"By Zailor! *YIP!*"
Casting cure light wounds, I believe provoking AoO from orange bruiser.
Concentration, if needed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Yikes. If Munir manages to get the spell off...
cure light wounds, Biligup: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Standard: casting cure light wounds; Move: none; Swift: none; Free: talking.

Biligup Deepcroak |

The cutlass is barely caught again by Biligup's buckler, bringing the young frog man to a knee for a moment. With a shift of his body, he rolls the blade away and picks himself back up off of the ground. With labored breaths, he nods to the pirate.
"Is...is that the best you got?" He says in a tired voice, lifting his rapier up once more for combat. Munrir comes in from the side though, trying his best to aid and heal the Grippli. As magical light begins to form, the pirate turns and drives the cutlass deep against the gnoll. "Munrir!" Biligup cries out, launching after the man in a rage.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
The fatigue in his arms is growing and the concussion from when he was slammed against the railing makes his vision blur for just a moment.
"Good gentlemen...I...I think I need some help..." Biligup shouts out, a worried look appearing upon his face.
Good try Munrir. The dice are just not with us at all, right now.

Myrsko |

Myrsko sees Murir fall near him, "Oh man!" Glancing at the rest of the deck, Maybe I wasn't the only one unprepared for this. He take a step inward to position, and quickly he swirls his hands through the air before bringing them together to unleash a wave of fire across the ship's deck.
Burning hands DC 14. I'm attacking the orange bruiser, the one towards the blue boarding repeller, and if possible, the blue boarding repeller. I know it's iffy.
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
After the attack, he bends down and grabs a dagger. This next part isn't going to be fun, he thinks to himself as he awaits the pirate attackers.

Heskavar Stormswimmer |

Round 6:
Heskavar:
Heskavar finishes his summoning spell, resulting in a single eagle popping into existence in the sky above him, on level with the decks of the two ships. Looking up at it, he watches as it begins to fly towards one of the pirates above. He then moves towards the rope that Shad is climbing, grabbing the trailing end and beginning to try to haul himself up.
Climb (DC 5): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
5 feet up.
Eagle
The eagle begins flying towards one of the nearby pirates, looping around in order to get to an optimal position from which to bite at the humanoid.
Attacking Bruiser with the Dark Blue Border, on the forward end of the upper ship.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Fang
With nothing to attack, Fang swims in circles between the front of the two ships.
.
Round 7:
Delaying until after Shad goes, so as to not interfere with his climbing.
Heskavar:
Heskavar waits until Shad goes further up the rope. Once he does, Heskavar attempts to climb further up the rope, going cery slowly as he does.
Climb (DC 5): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Climb (DC 5): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
15 feet up now.
Eagle
The eagle flaps over slightly, before biting and clawing at the Pirate that it had bitten before.
Five foot stepping with fly speed before attacking the same target as last round.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Talon 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Talon 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Fang
Still with nothing to attack, Fang continues his circles.
Blue arrows show eagle's movement.
