Merisiel.
I am playing a divine sorcerer and we have a cleric as well, so we should be good on buffs and healing.

As a rule, when someone asks, "Should I bring ROGUE or X?" I always pick ROGUE. I can't tell you how many scenarios I've been in that were unnecessarily hard because we didn't have a rogue.
LOL. In fact, it looks like among the three tables, Merisiel is the only rogue.

@Nefreet: I hadn't noticed your link to the wedding picture in your intro post in Gameplay until just now. Ha! I'm glad we were both on the same page. :)

@GM: I just made some last minute changes to my character. His Background is now Emissary instead of Field Medic.
The only things it changes are a couple of my skills and my background feat (Multilingual). My dayjob was Medicine, but I'll just change it to Religion, which has the same bonus.
Thanks.

![]() |

Heh, my Fighter/DivineSorcerer is also an Emissary!
It just pairs well if you're looking to be sociable, and languages are hard to come by.
Yeah, it was too painful having a character from Qadira that didn't speak Kelish.
This one is going to dip a couple of feats into Champion, eventually pick up a domain.

Welcome aboard, Grimm! We are just getting the party started in the Gameplay thread. :)

@ Rufous Redfire "...he points two fingers at one of the fire wolves."
Remember that while setting things on fire is unusual for animals we have not yet identified what these are or that they are evil.

Should I not attack them?

Actually I might be misunderstanding something here. I thought Divine Lance only did damage to opposite aligned creatures but all it says is that the Damage is aligned. So I guess it is better then I thought.
My apologies.

Best Pregen Ever! |

You were correct. The spell deals Good damage, and therefore gains the Good Trait.
Weapons and effects keyed to a particular alignment can deal chaotic, evil, good, or lawful damage. These damage types apply only to creatures that have the opposing alignment trait. Chaotic damage harms only lawful creatures, evil damage harms only good creatures, good damage harms only evil creatures, and lawful damage harms only chaotic creatures.

![]() |

Thanks, friends. I did not know that about alignment damage, so yay!

![]() |

Right but I thought it could only damage creatures of the opposite alignment. Apparently that is not the case. It isn't a great cantrip but it isn't as narrow as I thought.

No, you were correct. Divine Lance only damages evil creatures for me. I did not know that before you brought this up. Nefreet has quoted the rule. My thanks to both of you.
Damn is Merisiel stealthy!

@Nefreet: here are a couple more symbols that I'm fond of.
⤾ Reaction
◰ Free Action

![]() |

Has anyone not played this before? If so they should choose our activities.
I have not played this before. Not sure if I'm comfortable choosing what to do by myself, though. :/

![]() |

If anyone needs a nickname for Rufous when talking to him, I think "Red" would be appropriate.

![]() |

@ GM Gustavef Trig spend an hour using medicine. Would you consider that a focus activity for a follower of Sarenrae?

![]() |

@GM: I am very confused about this combat. How many rounds have there been?
Trig and Merisiel got the jump on the cats/skeletons, so they should have had one more round of actions than the rest of us.
Muzzo, Yaegren, and Rufous have all taken 3 rounds of actions. Grimm has taken only 2. Merisiel has taken 4, which I think is correct. Trig has taken 3, but I think that is 1 short.
But Rufous is now marked as having already gone.

![]() |

@Trig, Yes. For the most part unless the action would be really out of character for that god then i see no reason. (For the most part it is the Evil gods you cant follow in PFS anyway)
Also:
So we are coming to the end here. Go ahead and check your information. I will start working on chronicles and have them ready in the next day or so.
If you have not done your down time rolls, do them now.

![]() |

@Grimm, I still need your pfs number and character.

![]() |

Grabbed just makes you flatfooted and immobilized, and forces you to pass a DC5 flat save to do any manipulate action

![]() |

As a single action, you can try to Escape. This can be an unarmed attack roll, Acrobatics check, or Athletics check. When it's being used against a grab, it's opposed by their Athletics DC. It does have the attack trait, just in case you try to Strike later in the turn.
Critical Success: You get free and remove the grabbed, immobilized, and restrained conditions imposed by your chosen target. You can then Stride up to 5 feet.
Success: You get free and remove the grabbed, immobilized, and restrained conditions imposed by your chosen target.
Critical Failure: You don’t get free, and you can’t attempt to Escape again until your next turn.

![]() |

Chronicles are ready. You can pick them up HERE!

![]() |

Many thanks! It was pretty personalized, too, I would not have the energy for that three times over. See you all around the boards!

![]() |

Thank you very much for GMing this Gustavef! I had a blast.
