The stench when you open the door is terrific. The space inside is a small room surrounding a stairwell. While the stairs themselves are clear, the floor of the room is covered with rotting garbage. A couple of large bugs skitter out of the trash, but you dispatch them without an issue.

    Myth-Speaker Prey for Death

This stairwell is covered with broken flasks, rotting meat, and discarded rubbish, though a path has been cleared down the center of the stairway.

At the top of the stairs, a pair of stairways and an external door access this round, high-ceilinged chamber. One stretch of the wall is almost entirely covered in a bookcase carved from the stone wall and crammed with all manner of scrolls and tomes. Small oil lamps in high sconces provide dim illumination over a large reading table and a desk tucked into an alcove.

As soon as the calgini disappears Tathane looks around. He wouldn't turn invisible and just stand there. He would escape. The only options are the stairs or the double doors. Moving down the stairs wouldn't leave a sign but it would be obvious if the doors were opened by an invisible creature. Tathane races to the double doors. "If he opens these doors, I'll know where he is and I'll stop him." While moving across the room Tathane draws his dagger. Once in position he puts away his bow.

Move action and draw weapon, move action to put away the bow.

I saw your invisibility purge mentioned above but I noticed that the GM had you listed lower in the initiative order. I didn't know how the GM was going to put your action in the order. Hopefully before us all. If that happens then I'll see if I can redo my action.

Having delayed from last round, I should be able dive in at the end of anyone's turn. My intent was to dive in immediately after the invisible caligni (and the AOOs), and before Tathane, so I could handle the invisibility problem.

Since the invisibility purge purged the invisibility, I'll do a bit of a retcon. I assume that the dashed red square is the caligni.

Tathane sees the calgini moving towards the exit. "No way. You're not getting away from us." He races to the stairs and takes a stance with his dagger out. "No racing by me."

As he says this, Tathane flips the fringe of his cloak and a thin, silver needle flies at the creature.

    robe of needles@caligni: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 Ranged Touch
Damage is 1 point piercing and 1 bleed. Full round action to pull out the needle to stop the bleeding.
Also, does that hit the caligni or an image?

    Recapping!

Aryas misses his AoO and doesn't pop an image.
Hekk's AoO attack is high enough to hit.

Hekk's attack slashes into the true caligni. He turns invisible and moves across the room.

Branson comes out of delay and casts invisibility purge. The scoundrel is revealed!

GM Adjustment: Aryas moves over and attacks the now-visible enemy. His attack pops an image. (1 image remaining)

LeGuin attacks, popping the final image.

Hekk hits twice, dealing significant damage. (-51)

    Leopold withdraws.

Tathane moves to block the stairway and flicks a needle at the caligni, but misses.

    Whew!

It becomes clear that the enemy is some kind of alchemist, as he steps back and starts pelting Aryas with bombs, splashing Hekk and Branson.
