If the leshy crafter instead attacks Sir Lawrius and damage him, Sir Lawrius will use his shield block reaction instead.

Trillin attacks the Plum leshy, wounding it, whilst his horse knocks the remaining Hogweed out, before retreating to a safe distance.

Gullo attempts to pummel Foxglove, but only manages to land a single blow.

Makaila then electrocutes Foxglove and Red...

@Gimble: I'll give it to you, but please, remember in future. Note, though, that the *acid* damage can't be non-lethal; just the base claw damage.

Gimble smacks Foxglove around, but the leshy proves disturbingly resilient.

Samar does her best, but only lands a single strike; Foxglove is, however, beginning to look quite roughed-up.

Lawrius then tosses out a pair of strikes; the first misses, and the second connects... but Foxglove directs part of the damage into one of the Plum leshies, which causes it to explode!

1d6 ⇒ 4 Poison damage. DC 15 Fort for half.

This reaches everyone except Trillin.

The remaining Plum leshy, which looks decidedly worse for wear, throws rotten fruit at Gimble...

Trillin sends his horse forward to stomp the remaining Plum Leshy, but it dodges the horse's hooves, chirping in alarm.

Gullo dodges the worst of the poisonous explosion, but it throws his aim off, and he is unable to land a blow upon Foxglove.

Makaila takes the full brunt of the blast, then tries to take out both remaining leshies with an electrical discharge...

Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27.
Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14.

Foxglove takes the full brunt, but remains standing; his minion is not so lucky, and detonates!

Once again, everyone except Trillin gets hit.

At this point in time, another Hogweed Leshy climbs down into the ravine, and moves towards the party...

Foxglove, looking like he is ready to fall over, cries out:

"No! I need to restore the balance to this blighted forest!"

He then flails at Lawrius...

As soon as that happens, a hush falls over the other leshies in the area, as they all appear to become temporarily stunned.

The rune on the eye-rock flares for a moment, then goes dark. As it does so, the chunk of rock disintegrates into powder, which blows away.

No need to stay in initiative now :-)

He prays some more. Then ten minutes later he lays a hand on Trillin, healing him 6 hp.

And... he prays some more if we're still here. Regaining a focus point.

The monument is (effectively) neutralised, since its conduit to Foxglove has been destroyed - destroying the monument itself would be difficult, since it has hardness 15...

I am ok that he wakes up. With or without help. Normally, uncounscious creature wake up after 10 minutes minimum as written in the Corebook. So, i am sure we will wake up by himself on the return.

Oooookay... Dragging a bound Foxglove back to camp is certainly *not* covered in the scenario, but I will roll with it.

The party beats a hasty retreat before the literally dozens of leshies in the surrounding area regain their senses...

When Foxglove wakes up on the way back...

The leshy crafter holds stock still for a moment, raising a hand to touch the gaping hole in his face where the cyclopean shard had so recently rested. He gingerly probes the hole, swaying like a sapling in the wind...

“Oh. Oh.” The leshy crafter looks about slowly, taking in the twisted and deformed leshys, the Abyssal plant life, the burnt and ruined valley. “...it’s possible that I might have misinterpreted one or two things.”

There is a very long pause.

“Oops.”

Upon arriving back in camp, Urwal and Cenenviel are horrified, and immediately insist on Foxglove being he released.

He nods curtly to them, and disappears back into the forest.

Urwal notes that he would have preferred if things had been resolved without violence, but acknowledges that he wasn't there on the ground at the time, and he is sure that you did what needed to be done.

As a reward for completing your task, Urwal gives you a Beacon Shot (“A warrior’s weapon,” he notes dryly).

The next morning, a still-rather disturbing hogweed leshy trundles out of the woods with a “legendary sword, for the good monsters.”

In this sub-tier the “legendary sword” is a low-grade silver longsword with the image of a grasping arm etched into its blade.

In the weeks that follow, the party learns that Foxglove has taken the surname Thorn, and while the leshies do much to restore Finadar Forest, to the way it is actually supposed to be, they do so on their own, actively shunning outsiders.
