He gives some instructions to collect this part and that, with quite the emphasis on the still-warm vitae. Still, as much as this is a nakedly obvious plot to pack some liquid lunchables for the journey, my may as well try to identify some actual parts of value.

With enough fresh dragon vitals to survive even longer on the trip, the party begins to pack up and continue on their way.

Without active healing, you will only be recovering so much of your wounds for any imminent danger. You don't know how long it may be before your next problem comes up. Your journey has taken 5 days so far, with 4 more to go before you reach the temple.

Resting:
The character regains Hit Points equal to their Constitution modifier (minimum 1) multiplied by their level. If they rest without any shelter or comfort, you might reduce this healing by half (to a minimum of 1 HP).

Considering the state of the team, Ashes figures he may as well spend some spells. If they have to rest, he'll get them back. If he doesn't get to rest, then it's that much better than everyone looks less like veteran training dummies.

First, the skeleton.
Rank 3 (w actions) Harm on Clynter: 3d8 + 24 ⇒ (5, 3, 6) + 24 = 38

And then he makes a link to tend to Stokes' wounds.
Casting rank 1 spirit link on Stokes, feeding HP until they're full. While it's ticking down, Ashes will heal himself a bit to stay closer to topped off. Based on the (embarrassingly low) die roll below, Stokes should be full and Ashes should have a net total of 28 damage.
