I've had a couple coworkers that went through their own cases. Thankfully for both it was relatively short and (all things considered) mild. Hope Kaylee's player recovers soon.

Because apparently the convention is wrapping up in a week, we're going to be cutting it close depending on how dice rolls go for this and the final quest. It's on me and my slow/no posting on weekends that's mainly at fault, here.
BUT, I think now is high time to do boon rolls!
My modus operendii for these is to roll for everyone at once, with all of you in alphabetical order with the GM last (or first if it means someone other than me wins a boon thanks to the change-up ;)
As for winning numbers, there is a 10% chance of winning and I like doing it by month-and-day rather than the usual boring 19-and-20 (our FLGS does 1-and-20), so for the below, a 5 and a 12 will be winners. Good luck, everybody!
Flenn: 1d20 ⇒ 15
HK: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Kaylee: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Kitkul: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Lightfoot: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Lynn: 1d20 ⇒ 6
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Lightfoot wins a boon!
1d3 ⇒ 1
Season 1 Explorer - a pretty awesome one that I have on my Skittermander Soldier (aka my "angry hedgehog of death" build, lol). Lightfoot, go ahead and send me a PM with your email address so when I report the game the convention organizers can email you your boon!
Despite how slow I'm going, I hope everyone is still having fun!

With Kitkul getting ready to rush in, Lynn begins to hum some additional magic into existence. Sonic ripples billow through the air until they settle into a coiling swirl behind Kitkul. The ripples twist and snap, grabbing a hold of the formian's body and connecting her to a coiled spring of force.
Casting Polymorph 2nd Level. Form is another custom one -> Momentumform. This grants: DR2/magic, 40ft land speed, a +1 size bonus on Str based skills, and most importantly, the Ferran Momentum trait. This trait reads "This creature deals an additional amount of damage equal to its character level with its first melee attack after it moves at least 10 feet in the same round."
Enjoy some bonus damage when you charge in Kitkul :)
I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around that spell, but I do really want to learn how to use it for my Witchwarper sooner or later...

I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around that spell, but I do really want to learn how to use it for my Witchwarper sooner or later...
Its really unintuitive, especially because the SFS rules add more restrictions to the spell.
Essentially, the spell grants a pool of abilities depending on the form you choose. What abilities you can pick and how strong they are depending on the level of the Polymorph spell. If you choose to emulate a specific creature, you're restricted to abilities that creature actually has (like if you chose a Tashtari you could pick Resist Fire, but not Resist Cold), but in exchange you get a disguise bonus to look like that creature. Alternatively, you can build your own form (still picking from the abilities described in the spell), but you don't get the disguise bonus.
Since one of the options in the 2nd level version is "up to one racial trait", you can poach interesting racial traits from playable races.
It gets really complicated when you're trying to parse exactly how many abilities you get, what abilities you get for free (Land speed and a natural attack, essentially), etc.

Also, congrats Lightfoot on the boon!

Lightfoot wins a boon!
As much as I'd love to win a boon, I have to put on my PbP Venture Officer hat and point out that the official rule for boon rolls, while perhaps usual and boring, must be followed; only a roll of 19 or 20 can win one a boon. The rule is in place in order to keep the process as fair to everyone as possible and to avoid the potential for abuse (not that I suspect any has occurred here).
That being said, I am VERY much enjoying this run. With great GMing and a fun cast of PCs to play around with, I believe that, even if none of us leave with a boon, that nevertheless we are all winners at this table!
And with that, I'm going to slip that hat back off and dive back into the game!

Bah, you and your logical reasons for doing things :P
I checked the OutPost organizer emails and yes, they predetermined the winning numbers for all tables in advance, alas.
May your in-game rolls be luckier than your boon rolls, than!

Good news.
According to my info, Kaylee's player started doing better last night and might even be online in the next day or two. Perils of having two jobs considered "essential" during a pandemic, apparently.

Just fyi, I reported our game this morning, since OutPost officially ends soon. My slowness coupled with suspiciously bad dice have conspired to make this scenario run longer than I anticipated, for which I sincerely apologize!
If folks want to make downtime rolls here in the discussion tab, I'll make sure chronicle sheets are ready the instant we finish the scenario.
Another option: This scenario is a quest-pack, meaning you can bow out after any of them. This fight marks the end of Quest 4, leaving just one (AbadarCorp). If you'd like your character released sooner rather than later, I'll put some info behind the spoiler below to help you make that decision.
Basically, staying or going is a difference of 1,650 credits (1,330 out-of-subtier).
Just let me know and we'll go from there!

I am ok to continue, particularly if we think we will be done by PaizoCon Online.

I'd like to continue as well. No sense stopping halfway through, and I'm optimistic we'll finish before PaizoCon. My day job roll is on the first page of discussion.

For my sake, I'm going to make sure we finish before Paizo Con...I'm running 8 games and will need what's left of my sanity for that! :P

I am in until the end of the quests...

Hi all. I'm so sorry I was just gone like that and left you all hanging. I was in the hospital on a ventilator...not a lot of fun :(
I got home 2 days ago and am resting but I don't get wifi in my room so this is the first time I've felt good enough to come upstairs and log on.
I hope things in game have been going okay. I'll catch up reading on the game thread soonish but it looks like I came back in time for my turn so I'll do something there maybe?
Thank you all for the concern and sorry agani.

Chronicle Sheets are posted here!
Again, thank you, and please let me know if I missed anything on your (dated for the reporting date of the scenario) chronicles! :)

Thank you Dire GM. This is a very decent replayable scenario. It doesn't have a LOT of variances, but it one that I think always has a different feel depending on the players. And so far I haven't gotten tired of it.
Thanks again my friend!

Nice! My chronicle looks good. Now I have to apply it and start getting my character updated for all the PaizoCon prep.
Thanks for an awesome run Dire.
I really liked that one quest about infiltrating the Frozen Trove asteroid. Awesome map and cool concept. The starship combat was a super neat concept too.

Alrighty, that's a wrap! I'll close this game up later today - drop me a line if you need anything.
And Elektra, glad you're okay!
