Speeding up the encounter meant that it lost a chunk of hp; it would always count as flanked; all crits would confirm; it would fail **all** saves, and perhaps most importantly taht I should really wrap things up and not say, burrow away to deal with the hex and heal up ;-p

Some players have expressed a desire to retire their heroes with this scenario. ONLY IF YOU WANT feel free to narrate a heroic death for your character if this is the best end for their story :-)

... hum.. I don't mind he retires (I have done all I could do with him) I mean, he is part of the decemvirate. But to kill him for a better story? No. (I know, he has the mentor occupation hazard)

You know what i would like? That the boon for this would be pf2 legacy background.

I just don’t have the heart to do it. Somehow Tally McMillen stubbornly refuses to go down and stay down and this is partly to do with the effort other players put in to keep me going. I don’t like the idea of undoing that work with a wave of my hand. Maybe next time. Maybe.

GM Cwethan |

Alright everyone - you did it!!
Chronicles will be up later today - please sing out if you have any faction card goals or other notes you'd like added!
@Tally - No worries - wouldn't be my choice, but wanted to make sure it was a known option in case it was someone else's :-)
Boon for Tally?: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Zadeh - if you could PM me the e-mail you'd like your boon sent to I'll get that passed along directly!

Thanks for running, GM! This was a great time - I'm really glad I replayed this - it was a much better experience of both the story and the challenge of the fights than when I played it in real time at a (noisy) con.
Re faction card goals:
I don't think we got this, but just checking: "Recover a cursed item during the course of an adventure without succumbing to its curse. Minor maladies associated with carrying the item do not count against this goal, but effects requiring remove curse or similar magic to remedy do."
I also need to replace Sweet Mawd. At Agata's level (16) this costs 8000 gp (she has a stone familiar magic item, so she doesn't need to pay to replace all her spells). However, I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to just Raise Dead on her (if that's even a possibility?)? Also, GM, did you mention something about this scenario giving discounts on healing services such as these?
On another note: Agata will now hit level 17. I'm not sure what content there even is to play at this point, but if any of you hear of anything happening for this level please let me know - I'm happy to keep playing her!

There the last two adventures.

With those, you can play at level 17.

At level 17 you can also play Witchwar Legacy and various AP segments.

GM: if you haven't made up the chronicles yet, I'd like to retrain Additional Traits to Persistent Spell on this one. I need to start working back toward the build I messed up on.

Whew, good game everyone.
Now back to watching my fighter get pwned by a tomb.

Different game. I have a 13th level fighter who cracked open a tomb and nailed with a cursed disease.

So many adventures that could be...

GM Cwethan |

Lotta fun ways to catch tomb-rot :-p
Aaaand Chronicles are up!
Please sing out if there's any changes you need - otherwise I'll go ahead and close the thread down in a couple days.
Thanks so much for being a great table!

Could I get mine with the gold cost removed? I'm still spending the money, but I'll have other costs as well and will need a different gold spent amount.

I am... à Little disappointed about the boon. But just a Little.

GM Cwethan |

Of course **not** having it might be good too later...
And sorry, missed the question earlier Agata, but Raise Dead won't work on Sweet Mawd since she was killed by a [Death] effect.

Yep, I thought so. So is the 8000 gp for a new familiar my best/only option? Would I need a Resurrection otherwise (and do you recall what that costs)? And I think you mentioned something about the scenario calling out discounted healing services? (And, just to clarify, I'm not opposed to spending the 8k for a new familiar, but Agata and Sweet Mawd have been through a lot together. It will be tough for a new familiar to learn how Agata likes her tea prepared.)

If you are talking about the third boon, i am happy to not have it. It is great for spellcaster. But if i had my Wizard, he would have still refuse it.
But This is the last adventure right?... Why not having it would be good later. unless. Oh.
IT is just i was sure there would be somewhere a chronicle with a background to PF2. Having a similar boon like 8-00 (which is a good one), is something i was not ready for.

GM Cwethan |

Mm. I was thinking a resurrection would cover it, but that one spells out that outsiders aren't allowed :-/
8k would definitely be a lot cheaper, 'cause unless there's another spell I'm not thinking of, all I can come up with for Sweet Mawd is a True Resurrection...

![]() |

Ok, I'll do that. I'll have to think up a worthy replacement who can fill Sweet Mawd's maid uniform.
