Malgrim Gryh |

"Maybe they are killing slaves.." Malgrim says as he follows Gnasher into the room and prepares to deal with the commotion to the east.

Tarak Stromblessed |

Breathing a bit heavy from the exertion, Tarak looks around and raises his buckler towards the commotion to the east, conspicuously leaving his club on his belt, after holstering it to help with the door.
Tarak chants out a quick spell and in his closed right fist a blade of crackling lighting erupts and stays, sizzling and popping yet not burning him.
Cast Flame Blade, but my archetype makes this blade lightning instead of flame

Malgrim Gryh |

"We can make a stand at the door. If necessary we can fall back up the stairs." Malgrim suggests.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Frustrated that they were too late to attack whoever was in the room, Gnasher releases the rage. Grasping his bardiche as he walks in the room, he turns towards Malgrim, nodding his muzzle. "Ghost chief, Gnasher stand near door, wait and see."
Moving towards the door, looking to see what the commotion is, Gnasher waits, he anger bubbling under the surface.
May I assume he raged two rounds and we've been looking four rounds? ie 24 seconds in the room before whatever shows up, shows up?

Urah Pyr |

"I'll blind them if it comes down to it." Offers Urah as he seeks out a safe place to launch his spells from.

miteke |

May I assume he raged two rounds and we've been looking four rounds? ie 24 seconds in the room before whatever shows up, shows up?
That sounds reasonable. Remember that if you release the rage there is a 1 minute wait before you can rage again while you are fatigued.
@Gnasher
Make me a stealth roll if you want to peek in the room without being seen.

miteke |

You all hear some shouting coming from the other room...
"Guards, go check out this disturbance. It may be those foolish intruders. If it is, bring them to me."
... followed by the thumping of heavy fee rushing your way.
Go ahead and place your icons where they should be after a couple of rounds of movement from the door.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Hearing the female voices and then the louder male voice, Gnasher turns to his companions. "Tribe entered harem, females warning guards, guards coming." He quickly moves to the space north of the doors, bardiche in hand ready to chop at whoever comes through.
miteke, is enough time going to pass so gnasher can rage again? I was going to ready an attack, but which one will depend on raging or not.

Malgrim Gryh |

"To bad they didn't dismiss the harem's warning. I still think we should be able to deal with a few guard, but we can fall back and see if a few follow us instead." Malgrim says as he cotninues to follow after Gnasher.

miteke |

miteke, is enough time going to pass so gnasher can rage again? I was going to ready an attack, but which one will depend on raging or not.
I make it about 3 rounds fir the ladies to run into the other room, 2 rounds before he reacts, and two rounds for the guards to get to the door. That makes it 7 rounds since you started beating on the door which took 3 rounds to get through, right? So that is 4 rounds to prepare and 6 rounds before you can recover from fatigue and rage again.
Speaking of which, there are spells that deal with fatigue. Just saying.

Urah Pyr |

"Then we can just take them all out first no?" Urah points out.
Will cast Shield of faith on Gnasher one round before combat starts.

Tarak Stromblessed |

”Sounds like we got company.” Tarak growls and starts some more casting, then fishing out a scroll and casting again.
So Flame Blade on myself, Bulls Strength (6 minutes) on Gnasher and a scroll of lesser restoration on Gnasher to clear him of fatigue (which I assume looks obvious on him, dropping ears and probably panting)

miteke |

#Malgrim
Any actions before the guards arrive?
So far I have
Gnasher: Move, and listen
Urah: Shield of Faith on Gnasher
Tarak: Bull's Strength on Gnasher, Flame Blade, lesser restoration on Gnasher (has an annoyingly long casting time so that is not going to work).
Note: If you want to cast anything on Gnasher after the first round, you need to move 80' to do so if it is a touch spell or get in range. Thus to cast lesser restoration on Gnasher you will need to waste time chasing after Gnasher and since you do not have a 40' movement speed like he does it will take more than a round to get to him. It is a good idea, but you will end up casting the spell after the guards arrive and will fail if Gnasher moves on you since it is a touch spell. Really, for that to work, you will need to make plans with him so he doesn't ruin it for you by chasing after the baddies, and you will need to stay out of trouble while you cast.
Remember you have a total of 4 rounds to react after breaking through the door, so let me know what you are doing on ALL 4 OF THE ROUNDs, even if it is just waiting in place.
Each square is 10x10.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim gathers power and then readies to blast the first gnoll enemy that comes into his sight.
Move action to gather power and then ready an empowered blast.

Tarak Stromblessed |

I'm pretty good then with the few extra rounds
Lifting his crackling lightning blade, Tarak waits for whatever is coming.

miteke |

Here is what I got
Gnasher: Move first round, listen second round, reposition third round, wait fourth round
Urah: Shield of Faith on Gnasher and move first round, move second round, wait third and fourth rounds.
Tarak: Bull's Strength on Gnasher and move first round, Flame Blade and move second round, reposition and wait third and fourth rounds.
Malgrim: Move and wait.
Is that correct?

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

For Gnasher's part that's perfect

Urah Pyr |

Switch my 1st round with 3rd round.
Shield of faith on Gnasher on 3rd round.

miteke |

The gnolls finally arrive at the doorway and see you waiting for them. They
shout something and engage.
Their shouting is received well. From further in the room you hear a delighted roar followed by "Finally. The fools are here and I can deal with them personally!" in common, like it was meant to be heard and understood by you.
Init(Tarak): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Init(Gnasher): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Init(Gnoll clerics): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Init(Ghartok): 1d20 ⇒ 11
Of course this claim does not stop the other gnolls from attacking, though you all get the drop on them.
Are you really starting Urah 80' back? Definitely in character, I suppose. Guarding the retreat and all.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Having worn himself out forcing the door open Gnasher takes a more defensive stance than normal. Meaning he doesn't rush into the other room to claim as many lives as he can. Instead, he waits for the gnolls to come to him, smiling a toothy as the rush into the doorway. Lifting the magical bardiche high, he chops at the nearest Blue gnoll, while waiting for more to move within reach.
Fatigued 1/6 Shield of Faith, Bulls strength. AC vs gnolls 28. Always confused by distance when the wall is as thick as the characters. If blue is within reach he will strike, if Gnasher needs to move 5 ft to hit blue he will. Also with the fatigue, will only be able to get one aoo with the reach weapon when the gnolls start moving this way. Attack: + 1 bardiche, PA gnoll killer

Tarak Stromblessed |

I mean, with the low ceiling making Air Geyser less enticing, and those 4 just lined up in lightning bolt formation, I guess I'll have to go with that
Seeing a pile of enemies lined up in a neat little row, Tarak takes them up on their offer and looses another blast of lightning.
Lightning Bolt, Ref DC 18 for half: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 3, 2, 3, 4) = 24
Convert Air Geyser to lighting bolt and blast red, purple, yellow and gray

Urah Pyr |

Urah hearing that combat has started, crouches low and begins moving forward slowly while keeping himself hidden as much as possible.
Move 40Feet with stealth. lol.

Their use of magic was indeed off putting to say the least.
They had magic at their disposal!
Squinting, he tries to identify the spell.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

As the two priests send nasty black bolts of lighting streaking towards him, Gnasher dodges the best he can. Looking from the gnoll around the corner to the two in the back, Gnasher realizes that the two gnolls shooting lighting pose the greatest immediate threat, but he can hear something bigger coming. Determined to at least remove the priests, Gnasher moves through the doorway Giving up an AOO lifting his bardiche, chopping at the light grey priest.
Looking over his shoulder, Gnasher gives a wolfish grin, "Carrion King come."

Urah Pyr |

Two move actions. My speed is 40 feet. Needed to move 50 feet so that my glitter dust can now cover everyone in its range. A;sp gives me breathing room to dive for cover if needed.

Though Gnasher misses, Malgrim's blast does a number on him and he drops like a lead balloon. Urah screws up his courage and gets alarmingly close to the fight.

With the Carrion King apparently coming, from the sound of it, Tarak shuffles a bit and begins casting, hoping to bring some aid (or possibly harm) to the fight.
Start casting Mad Monkeys, targeted on the square I drew

miteke |

Tarak begins casting the nasty monkey spell (no need to specify the location until the casting is done) and Ghartok arrives at the door, roaring at brown to get out of the way.
With a subservient snarl, brown sidles off to the side and attack Malgrim. another feeble attack though.
Correction to combat. I applied the damage to the wrong priest, so both are still up and kicking.

Tarak Stromblessed |

Oof, that's bad, real bad. And Liberating Command doesn't help for paralysis
Tarak finishes summoning his horde of screeching monkeys right in front of the carrion king (Lets just drop them right in his face and hope they disarm him to buy us some time. CMB +9 CMD 19), and commands them to attack the big gnoll.
He then casts an arc of electricity at the gnoll in front of Malgrim

AC 23 to hit the nearest Gnoll. If it hits he takes 43 Bludgeoning damage.

miteke |

@Gnasher
Hold person is odd in that you were immediately paralyzed by the spell, yes, but you make a new saving throw on each of your turns as a full round action to break free and end your turn no longer paralyzed. And since being paralyzed while someone is attacking you is a very bad thing, getting another ST is a very good thing.
Tarak is able to light the guys life up to the tune of 4 HP of damage and Malgim totally wastes him, as in puts a large hole through the center of him. That still leaves Ghartok and the gnoll priest. Ghartok finds himself in the midst of a screaming mass of monkeys which tear him up a bit and irritate him a lot.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Oooouch! Maybe Urah will throw himself between you and oncoming menace?
Hey, no reason for the big guy to attack Gnasher, he's not doing anything...
