'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Shuffling his feet nervously Gnasher gestures towards the house. "Tribe have till sunset tomorrow, rescue Rayhan." He looks from Malgrim to Seif, "Gnasher willing to wait and trail, maybe not lose too much time."

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim nods and says, "Try and keep an eye on the front. I will watch the way he came before."
Malgrim then returns to stalk the alleys.
Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
Perception: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23
I am a shadow in the dark. Sadly, shadows do not see as well as we could hope.

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

Seif-al-Din, knowing that he is terrible at hiding (not to mention the fact that a large feline tends to stand out, as well), hangs *way* back (basically, keeping 'Gnasher' in view, who is in turn keeping Malgrim in view).

miteke |

Which works fine. All manner of oddities may be seen in the streets of this city, and Tamir seems simplemindedly overconfident.
The warehouse lies within the docks district - a single-story building constructed from wood. It is in reasonably good repair, with several large doors in the main portion of the warehouse that open to the outside. Tamir enters a smaller door to the south.
Link to warehouse map at top, though since all you can see is the outside, everything interesting is spoilered out. I'm going to say that it is about 10 AM when Tamir leads you to the building. Not to say you have to do your 'business' right away, you could wait.

Malgrim Gryh |

Is there any approach to the building that does not have a bunch of people watching it?

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Seeing Malgrim soon follow the halfling, Gansher turns to Seif, "Let Gnasher get ahead, then follow." Trying to keep his bardiche as discreet as possible, Gnasher follows Malgrim, trying to stay on the other side of the street and use peripheral vision or reflections to follow his friend. Seeing Malgrim stop a distance from one of the warehouses that were described to them, Gnasher finds himself in front of a haberdashery. Watching Malgrim's reflection in the shops glass, he points occasionally at a hat or matching scarf.

miteke |

Is there any approach to the building that does not have a bunch of people watching it?
Not at this hour of the day. You could try after hours. There will still be folks in the street, but the workers will have gone home.
Gnasher manages to scare a poor old lady out of her wits when she sees him pointing at her through the window. You never saw an old lady move so fast - towards the back exit of course.

Malgrim Gryh |

Have we seen any guards in the area? Or do we think we would have time if we went in?

Malgrim Gryh |

I am talking about how long do we think before the city watch/city guards appear if we attack now.

Malgrim Gryh |

"I think we go in now. If we wait too long and he is not here we will be in trouble." Malgrim says as he starts heading towards the door that Tamir went through.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Hearing Malgrim's recommendation, Gnasher gives a toothy smile and nods. Having barged into many a room ready to draw blood, Gnasher is a bit taken aback by the receptionist sitting behind the desk. He quickly shifts his bardiche to a 'carry' positioning instead of his two-handed grip, hoping he just looked like a rich man's bodyguard. Quickly looking toward Malgrim and Seif, confident one of them had a fast idea about what to do.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've played lots of games, but neither I, nor Gnasher, have ever killed a receptionist sitting behind a desk. Not exactly sure what to do.

Malgrim Gryh |

Is there a way beyond this room? I checked the map but it is all still covered.
I want to just wander by him. But I am not sure what options there are.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim motions Gnasher towards the northern door and will move to open the western door.

miteke |

The receptionist ineffectually tries to block you, exclaiming, "You can't just barge in there, Who do you think you are?!"
You find yourself in a hallway with three four doors on all the cardinal points.
Please put your icons on the map.

Malgrim Gryh |

I suggested splitting up some for speed purposes. I went to the western door instead of the northern door. I thought Gnasher might be better at heading first into the middle of the building if he was agreeable to that.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

I'm good with splitting, unless Seif hits the sense motive and provides info, that would counter the idea.
sense motive: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Moving past the desk towards the northern door behind the receptionists. As he passes her, he snarls, "Tribe merchants wronged by your superiors." he looks towards Seif, seeing his companion wink at the girl, he turns back to her. "Girl should do as cat-man says."
He turns waiting to open the door at the same time Malgrim opens the other.
This feels like 'Coerce Opponent' to me
intimidation: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
dude, wish those rolls were switched

miteke |

1d100 ⇒ 2

Malgrim finds himself looking into a Meditation Room, which has no other doors. Several large, padded mats sit on the floor of this room occupied by a 4 guards. The receptionist is unconcerned with your entering that particular room. When confronted by the massive gnoll at the north door, she squeaks out a loud (for a squeak) "Help!" and backs hurriedly off.
The guards hop up and run towards the door.
"Are these folks giving you a problem," one asks while glaring at Malgrim menacingly.
intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Except that it is not all that menacing.

Malgrim Gryh |

"We have a message for Tamir. Where is he?" Malgrim says as he motions Gnasher to continue on.
Bluff: 1d20 ⇒ 4

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Sad that that good of an intimidation had the exact opposite effect of what we wanted.
Having opened the northern door the same time Malgirm open the other, Gnasher rolls his eyes as the receptionist takes her life into her own hands. Hearing the 'threatening' tone of the people in the room Malgrim was looking into, as he see's the hallway with three doors, Gnasher puases, waiting to see if his friends are in danger.
I don't see the guards on the map.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim stands in their way and says, "Your not needed. It would be wise to stay on your break." He motions Gnasher on his way and tries to close the door.
I am not worried about the guards. Keep going.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Seeing Malgrim motion him on his way, Gnasher steps over the threshold into the hallway and opens the door on his left.

miteke |

The lead guard rushes Malgrim and tries to grapple with him.
"You are not allowed back there, buster."
grapple: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Before he can lay a hand on you, you get an AoO since he is not particularly skilled at this. The other guards are backed up and unable to exit the room at the moment.
@Gnasher
The door is firmly locked.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Finding the door firmly locked, Gnasher peaks back into the foyer, "Ghost, west door locked." Turning east, he tries that door.

Malgrim Gryh |

"Stop and be smart, if you don't this ends badly for you." Malgrim says as he swings at the man for attacking him. He then calls back to Gnasher, "The secretary probably has a key if we need it. But we need to move fast."
Spiked Gauntlet: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage, P, Spiked Gauntlet: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

miteke |

This will be a pretty simple combat so I'm skipping init and just going with the order we've established. Gnasher pops open the eastern door as Malgrim delivers a nasty punch to the guard's face.
New room: The each side of the room contains three heavy desks made from polished wood, each heaped high with documents, books, and ledgers. There is a door on the south wall at the far end.

Malgrim may take AoO on the first rusher.
The last one is then able to slip into the room and attack after maneuvering to the other side of Malgrim.
to hit, flank: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 2 = 18
but he misses anyway, looking pretty irritated.
Note: With no icon on the map for Seif I am going to assume he is out of the way somewhere.

Gnasher's modifier is + 10 so making a mental note of the door
As Seif brushes past him Gnasher opens the door to the office to the east. Hearing the scuffle Gnasher turns in time to see the one 'guard' push past Malgrim. Turning to the receptionist he says, "See what you have caused." Lifting his Bardiche Gnasher chops at the guard behind Malgrim.

Malgrim Gryh |

So I think the one furthest east was the secretary, not a guard. So I am not sure which guard died. If the one adjacent to me that bull rushed me out is dead then this would be a ranged attack at the next one since we have gone to violence. If not then this is a melee attack against the one that bull rushed me out of the door. I then 5 ft step north to avoid flanks with the secretary.
Malgrim shakes his head at the now really dead guard and says, "No one listens." He then gathers moisture out of the desert air and sends it at the next fool in line.
Gather Power, Empower, strike with a Kinetic Blade or Blast if they are further back. If I am using the blast add the +1 to hit and damage for PBS.
Concentration: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 success
Kinetic Blade w/Elemental Overflow: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 9 + 2 = 31
Damage, B, Kinetic Blade w/ Elemental Overflow: 3d6 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5, 2) + 10 + 4 = 26
Kinetic Blade w/Elemental Overflow: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 9 + 2 = 27
Damage, B, Kinetic Blade w/ Elemental Overflow: 3d6 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 10 + 4 = 19
Wow...so if a 27 or 28 ranged attack confirms he takes 67 magical bludgeoning damage in melee or 69 magical bludgeoning damage in ranged damage. I did not bother with the AoO this round.

Seif opens the door and finds a well-apointed office that features a sturdy oak desk and several intricate tapestries hanging from the walls. To the southeast sits a large fur rug on which several blankets and pillows have been stacked. Two iron rungs are driven into the wall to the southwest—the ground underneath spattered with white, chalky bird droppings.
Inside is an attractive half-elven woman and a pair of odd looking creatures perching on the iron rungs to the southeast. Across the desk you see Tamir, who turns and looks at Seif with surprise.
Tamir turns and exclaims, "It's them!"
