Sadly I don't know Einar's character (shamans or hexes) well enough to give meaningful suggestions on what to have him do.

@Lokhir: If you want more information, you need to pick what areas of information you get per usual.

Ah, sorry. Looking for weaknesses. When choosing what enchantments to put on a sword, it's good to know. :)

@Kaldwell: Quick note about Evil Eye: it's an 'or', not an 'and'
As a standard action, Eirnar can give an enemy with a mind within 30 feet a –4 penalty on attack rolls, AC, saving throws, or skill checks for 10 rounds (Will DC 21 reduces the duration to 1 round)
So you need to pick one of those options. You can repeat evil eye next round to debuff a different area. Eirnar also has cackle, which allows him to use a move action to extend the duration of evil eye for an extra round.

Apologies for the delay, we're moving/packing at the moment, and my router got broken during the process. Thankfully a new router is already at the new house...but the internet doesn't switch over until Saturday. I may be able to post when I'm at work this evening (yes, I'm working while moving, as cover could not be found) but may be too tried, so please feel free to bot if I'm slowing things down. Normal posting will hopefully resume on Monday.

I will admit, I'm a little at a loss about what to do about this game. I've been trying to play the dragon in a reasonably intelligent manner (which is to say, just landing in front of y'all and trading blows is kind of a dumb tactic for a flying creature with a 16 Int) but the result is that nothing has really happened for, like, a month. Y'all are so close to being done and I'd really like to have this game wrapped up before I go on vacation in about 3 weeks.
What are y'all's thoughts? Should I just give up any pretense that Zassrion is smart in the interest of speeding things up? I could bot more aggressively but that's also a bit awkward when there are only 3 players and I'm already botting a fourth. Do you want to handwave the final boss?

I think that the problem is that the dragon isn't engaging. It dropped smoke, we buffed...attacked...and we don't see it. Meaning that I thought that we'd go inside where the dragon can't reach us.
If the dragon engages, then we can fight it. If it doesn't engage, then we can't fight it. Because at the moment we can't even see it. It's just as a player, I'm not sure what action to take besides retreating to a more defensive position.
But I, for one, would really like to finish this up properly. Heck, even a TPK is a better story end than just not finishing.

Yattle was the one that cast the Obscuring Mist, not the dragon. But that means while you can't see the dragon, the dragon can't see you either, which is yet another reason why it hasn't engaged you yet. Either way, I will take that as one vote to have the dragon act more stupidly.

Having it launch an attack, so we can get a bonus to work out where it is, should be enough I think. But whatever gets us to the end works for me.

I liked the idea of just getting to a more confined space, but without knowing what the dragon wants to do, or why we want to kill it...
Yeah, if it doesn't want to fight, I don't know how we can make it do so.

Come on Yattle, get a Crit! Maybe two? It would be really useful about now.
Also rolled sneak attack as I went before everyone and someone might have gotten me a flank. Should have explained that when I rolled

FYI, I'll be going be busy starting around Wednesday Sept 22nd, possibly a bit earlier depending on how much last minute packing/arrangements I need to do. I'll be out for 2 weeks during which I don't plan to be checking games.

Does Eirnar have any healing, such as Channel Energy, left?
And if not, are there any clear rules for dragging an ally out of trouble? Will it cause attack of opportunities and such?

I've been keeping a running spoiler of all of Eirnar's remaining resources. Dragging would use normal encumbrance rules depending on the weight of the creature being dragged and the movement of the person dragging would be subject to normal AoO rules.

It would be great if Yattle and Kaldwell could take their actions before I leave on vacation so there'll at least be a new round that people can respond to while I'm gone.

So unless I missed something when attacking Yattle, I believe we just TPK'd. It was a really close fight though; the dragon had 15 HP left, so failing either of those last two Reflex saves probably would have done enough to kill it. If anyone would like to write an epilogue/last dying words for your character, feel free to do so, though I will also understand if you're ready to just call it a day. Thanks for everybody who stuck around to the end! Let me know if you have any questions about the behind-the-scenes for what was going on, like if you want to know about what the unused Harrow cards related to.

We gave it our best! And a TPK is still an end to a story. And to have it end with the final boss? If it is going to end in a tragedy then this was the way that it should be. This campaign would not have been right if it didn't have an end.
My only request to our GM would be a closing post, explaining the ending of the campaign and the BBEG's victory. It just seems fitting.
Thank you to DM Puppet Master for running this, and to my fellow players for a good time. :)

Yup, I'll definitely add in a concluding post a little later tonight/after work. I just want to give people a little more time before I do in case someone has some last minute, "But wait, you forgot this thing that makes Yattle not-unconscious"
