Taking a step to the west, Niu retrieves his scroll of Thorny Entanglement from his haversack and casts it, centering the effect on the zombies to the NW.

Range is Long (600ft), 5 minute duration, 40ft radius effect (I'm looking for a template). Any creature entering or inside the area of effect at the end of its turn takes 2d6 piercing damage. Any creature moving within 15ft of it takes a ranged attack (+8), taking 2d6 on a successful hit. Regular entangle effects. DC from the scroll is 14


Cirthana arrives at the northwest road. She agrees to watch the eastern side of town. Baleson will keep an eye on the north and west.

"I think you are right, Ranok, we may need to start spreading out. Those zombies might resist most of the thorns, but the spell should slow them down for a while.

I'm concerned about where else the undead might be coming from next. It is time that I, at least, got a little more mobile, to provide what shock support and control I can.

Should the rest of you spread out? Perhaps send someone to reinforce entrances that do not yet have veteran backing?"
