The man looks Ziera in the eyes. It is all he can do to muster a smile. "Bless you...My wife..." He leans forward and dies in the paladin's arms.
The man cannot stand on his own. He can only be lifted as he is just dead weight at this point. "Help us, can you help us. We cannot become like those."

"Yes, please. Before we become like them."
The loggers eventually drag the zombie remains to the burning spot. They begin adding logs and tinder to the pile.
Loggers 2,3 and 4 head to Roots and Remedies as the sheriff offers.

Lumberjack 2 double moves to get some action. Luberjacks 6-10 reform for the second group of approaching zombies. Lumberjacks 11-15 hold the line.
Lumberjacks 6-10 regroup for the new approaching zombies. 11-15 hold their ground.
Lumberjack 1 swings his axe at zombie 15.
They end up killing two of the zombies.
The lumberjacks return the battle cry in unison. "For the Hollow"
"You look like yer in a hurry, sir. It'll take the two of us about two minutes to saddle her up. Now, we can toss a bridle on 'er an yer on yer way."
Lumberjack 4 swings his axe at zombie 18.
Lumberjacks 6-10 ready swings at the cat if it comes within reach. Lumberjacks 11-15 form up against the approaching zombies.

Lumberjack 7 moves to help 10 and finishes the job the vines started.

The northern loggers form up again in front of the entrance to town.
The lumberjacks at the northwest entrance move toward the approaching zombies.
Lumberjack 5 joins in.
Lumberjack 4 moves to zombie 9.
One of the villagers says "Uh, guys....Something is wrong with those folks headed this way. They ain't walking right." He points to the road leading north out of town.
"Just an accident sir. Is it so crowded. You can let go now."
In the crowded market, a passerby bumps into Ranok. "Oh, pardon me sir. It is so crowded here."
"Boss, I gots enough daylight to make it to town. Thems alive got dragged west. West. You know what's out there, boss?"
"Good as new, thanks to that flying savior." He recounts the gruesome tragedy of the kobold attack and speaks wild-eyed of a green-scaled menace with a host of venomous insects at his command. He tells you most of the lumberjacks were slaughtered like livestock before a feast, but a few were trussed up and dragged off toward the west by some of “those freakish zombies!”
"Not good, boss. Need water bad."

The innkeeper scratches his head and concentrates. I can't recall anything more about them. Just dark clothing and suspicious like. Had Hollin foller 'em. They went north on the road. Wait. The human had flame tattoos on his wrists and arms. Yep, sure did.
The innkeeper pulls Deldrin to the side and whispers something in his ear.
Arlie and the other logger break out in laughter.
Seeing the odds change, Arlie and another logger join Seldlron.
Thug #2 "You heard the man. Give it up or else." They both wear leather armor and pat saps against their open palms. They are 10 feet away.
As Reinar makes his way back to Jack'a'napes two guys approach him. "Gimme yo munay girl."
A patron begins a count down. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, GO! Initiative
The two men rush at each other. When they clash, each grabs the other's crotch. They both yell out in pain.
The two are quickly separated by the group, each still trying to get to the other. The group starts a chant. "mig-a-mug-tug, mig-a-mug-tug, mig-a-mug-tug, mig-a-mug-tug." The two men end up standing at opposite ends of a large table. Wagers are placed beside each.
