2) Gandma tries to incapacitate the guards.
3) I lurk there and throw up an entangle spell and insect plague if grandma fails.
4) The rest of you rescue the prisoners."
"Grandma, can you cast a silence spell if they resist whatever you plan on casting on them to incapacitate them? If not I can cast silence on something that you can drop on the platform. Or maybe Thyste, you can drop it off after disabling the devices?"

No worries Grandlounge, I get it. We all sometimes need to take a step back and clear our heads.
If in the future you need a few days away from PbP stuff, I'm sure all of us would support you if you just drop a quick line to say so.

...reposting in in gameplay where this belongs.

It is all good. Also, I keep finding more and more people in my games that live nearby.

Hey all,
I will be away for a week and a half for vacation. I will see you all when I get back. I will try to get you a post or two in this game.

            That would be great.

Maybe we should just end this game. It seems like no one cares anymore.

It does seem to have run its course.

I've just been having a devil of a time trying to keep up with the ever-shifting plans and locations. Lots and lots of details--I was asked to provide some roguey rolls, did so, and was never told what they were for, so I assumed they were to disable the alarm, maybe? But then we ended up killing the giant who would have sounded it anyway, and...
I dunno. It's just been impenetrable for me lately.

It does seem that we have lost our focus, both within the game and about the game.
I'm fine with dropping it here. 2 and a half books is nothing to sneeze at.

Agreed. You guys are awesome and I'm sure we will bump into each other again, though with different faces.

All the best, all. You have been great. My sincere apologies for not being about to get you all to the finish line.

No worries. It just ran it's course. That happens with almost all groups, not just RPGs. The important thing is we finished amicably and had fun and, heck, there is always another game out there cuing up.

Yeah, GMing is hard. GMing at these levels is harder. Keeping a game fresh for such a long time is even harder.
Given how long APs take, and how many life changes people can have in that time, it's amazing any of them make it.

Thanks all. And you are not wrong. Graduate grad school, a global pandemic, moved across the country, and got a dream job. It's nice to have games as an anchor point but they all run their course. I hope you all keep well and keep gaming.
