Guys, I unfortunately have to cut down some gaming until next week Thursday as the workload in my job has expanded tremendously currently.
I will be back to normal again next Thursday! Please bot me until then.
Thanks for your understanding!!
Have a great week!

Yea, I'm good with dropping the entourage down to Blix.
Stay sane, Noral/Azardra. As we are between books, you should not miss much before your hopefully inevitable return.

            Player Name: EbonFist
Character Name: Ylosani
PFS ID: 143948-10
Faction: Sovereign Court
Speed: Normal.
I'm good with cutting the dwarves loose. The only reason Ulretha has to keep them around is to find someone with high enough magic to replace Umlo's hand when Ulretha chops off the Steelhand.
But, the point is there. We rarely use them except for Blix's healing magic.

Hey Thyste, why don't you take Drakesbane. I totally guessed at it's price and it is inevitably low and it would be nice to keep in the group. I noticed you posted it was in your 'sticky little fingers' but I don't see it on your inventory list.

Ulretha

Alright...just to confirm and recap before I make any (more) changes to Ulretha's numbers, during our rest and reorganization I've -
-Consolidated the benefits of Uskroth's Armor into the Dwarven Plate that we found.
-Obtained Nargrym's Steelhand.
-Had Gorum's Thorn reforged to be large (which I believe I can wield due to the Steelhand.)

I'm ready too. Ben purchases the following before we leave:
4 Scrolls of brightest night
4 Scrolls of resist energy

Lidia*

Finally got Lidia leveled to 10!
Notable changes: 3rd favored enemy--GIANTS!
New Feat: Clustered Shot
One 3rd level spell: default spell is Darkvision (damn these human eyes!)

Sorry y'all for the lack of posts of late!
Truth be told I'm burned the hell out on this campaign and trying to take some deep breaths and re-stoke my interest because I do love these characters.

I get it. On the one hand it is so nice to be able to do a deep dive into a character and their relationships with other PCS. On the other hand, it's nice to have some new experiences.

GM_Grandlounge
Thyste if there is anything on the mechanical side we can do so that combat can be part of things becoming more engaging, I'm happy to help. Tiny caviler with a giant mount?

Little Ben PBP

Anyone mind if we wait a day and send in Ben in cloud form? He should be able to get a look inside tents and building and give us a much better idea of what is what. In any case, Ben intends on doing nothing the first day, so if one of you wants to make mischief ahead of that, go ahead and post.

            Good idea Ben!
No action here before that.

I took the liberty of putting all that town info in a new tab on the loot sheet.

Just in case the OOC comment in gameplay gets lost, have we noticed any provisioning by the camp? Does food go in from what we can tell.

GM_Grandlounge
Most of it stay here food is grown and consumed here. But there are with provision, alcohol, and materials (ingots and weapons) that are being transported elsewhere.

Lidia*

Ooh. If the wagons of supplies aren't being brought in by giants, that might give us another way of doing some mischief, by hijacking things.

GM_Grandlounge
There are slaves among with the carts but their are always giants accompanying them. Lidia you observed what you think is a check point that you would have to pass through.

Little Ben PBP

That was my thought too. If we ambush a wagon and commandeer it, we might be able to sneak stuff in, particularly if Ben-troll was driving the wagon and we spied on their check point first to make sure we can deal with it. Unlikely they would question an extra barrel and, as we know, invisibility is available. .

Little Ben PBP

Did we abandon the plan to capture a supply wagon first?

GM_Grandlounge
If team brewery is ambushing a cart to get in they are accompanied by one frost giant so feel free to include that and we can use skill checks.

Little Ben PBP

Skill checks? I thought we were going to pound the poor fellow. Or are you talking about getting through the gate?
I thought the plan was for the entire group to waylay a supply cart, then split up and have the brewery team use the cart to get through the gate and once through in the brewery have the arsons team start the fires. That is why I'm so confused.
I have no idea what the plan was now so if someone could explain it to me I'd appreciate it.

The fight is trivial and the consequences for everything at this stage of the adventure are about sabotage and awareness. It does not make sense to run a one round of off book combat that just keeps us away from the more fun combat and interesting material.

Little Ben PBP

I totally agree. So then Ben transforms into a troll, loads up the poison, and heads towards the gate.
"Hey, Thyste, help me out with a few whispers to get us past the guard, will you?"
bluff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
"Here to deliver some stuff to the mess. I'm new so point me the way will ya?"

Lidia*

Aren't you going in invisible and flying, courtesy of Granny?
Besides, I'm hoping a stampede of mammoths and a raging fire might create enough of a distraction to get into the camp without having to bluff your way in. It's the middle of the night and a delivery might be suspicious.

Little Ben PBP

Well, looks like I put that post in discussion by accident.
It sure would be easier to do it that way. Ben is not a good bluffer. But I always thought we were going to try and bluff their way through with a wagon so I'm going to have to change up my thinking to go invisible marauder.
<breaking and snapping sounds ensue>
OK, I'm ready. Going to gameplay now...

Thyste Fox-Tailed

Ben's asking Thyste to make a distraction/convince giants to move.
Are there giants here that need moving? I didn't see anything about other people in our way, unless that's the frost giant on the throne (and his cohorts)?

Little Ben PBP

Yea, those were the ones I meant. If Ben is to get to where the beer/food is kept in the feast hall, he will need to get past the entourage.

Lidia*

Golly there's a lot to keep track of in this plan whoops
The plan was for you guys to take the poison to the Brewery, which would likely be deserted in the middle of the night, and put it in the beer. Simple in and out job. I'm not sure why your group is at the Longhouse instead. But as the old saying goes, no plan survives first contact with the enemy.

Little Ben PBP

That does make more sense. When I said mess/kitchen/supplies I guess there was some confusion and both Grandlounge and I got sidetracked.
Easily fixed.

Hello everyone! I’m really sorry that I’ve not been so active but somehow I realize that this AP is not pushing my interest.

Cool. I do not want folks to feel like they need to stay in the game because I went through some effort to keep it going. If you are losing interest then you should feel free to move on. At least in my opinion.

Thanks!!

I'm assuming this is a new day and I can pick and choose spells for the mission. Do you think an insect plague on the tower is a bit obvious? Probably no worse than sneaking up and attacking them. And it would get them to come down. I really, really want to use that spell :) And I could combine it with an entanglement spell. Nasty, nasty combo.

GM_Grandlounge
Insect plague would be subject to regular spellcraft checks for spells but would be immediately noticed as unnatural/bizarre. That said, the camp is in chaos right now, so they may not have time to care or investigate depending on if you all can keep the pressure on. That is a nasty combo.
