Bane baldric "but must first attune a light or one-handed melee weapon to the baldric by hanging it from the cloth for 24 hours" But I'm never above letting some change the properties of an item (make it work ranged) if you can find a way to do it that is interesting RPwise.

Well dang. I read that three times and read the inquisitor stuff too and totally missed that it said melee weapon. I even had to double check it just now. And I remember thinking at first that I remembered it being for melee weapons but after reading it figured I remembered wrong. Funny how you can tend to skip words by skimming it. My brain really didn't want to read that part.

We will need to sell some stuff to do the upgrades. I've updated the spreadsheet to show what each person will get, assuming all loot is sold and split 5 ways (6064.5)

If, on the other hand, we intend to keep any of the more valuable items, most significantly the amulet that will cut into the distribution significantly, but on the other hand we do not have to suffer the penalty of selling for half price (see column labelled Sale Modifier).

So do we keep this easy and just sell everything and go buy new stuff, or are there items you all think we should keep? And does anyone want to wheel and deal to try to boost our profits?

At some point, I'd like for Ulretha to claim Nargrym's Steelhand and have Gorum's Thorn upgraded to Large size but it seems wrong to chop off Umlo's hand now that I want it without giving him an option for a replacement.

If possible, I'd also like to transfer the powers/bonuses from Uskroth's armor to that suit of Adamantine Plate.

If that's not possible, then the Adamantine Plate is up for trade in, too.

Everyone can level to ten, make and equip the gear they want and then we are on to book 4.

We get a free teamwork feat this level. Any preferences?

If you want to claim anything on the loot tracker put a 0 in the value per unit column and put a 1 in the number claimed column for yourself and 0 for everyone else.

Something like I did for the scroll of delay poison which I claimed.

Once that is done we will know how much each of us has to spend and we can complete the reequipping phase we are in.

If the sibling did this it would be a passing of the torch from them to you.

For the powers of the armour to an adamantine full plate, if you have the money to buy the full plate you can do the transfer powers.

It does count. Yes, you do lose the sale value. Once everyone is levelled and is happy with there gear, we can proceed. Just give me the word.

OK, then. Ulretha, your share of the loot is now 12366.3 - 8250 = 4116.3. Everyone else has the full amount to spend. If you want any of the items, such as the scrolls, just subtract the sale price from your haul.

So, what to do with the loot?

Will do a post when I have time to list the items Ben buys or grabs.

So just calculate yourselves what items could be created with Azardra's help.

She has:

I will definitely be getting a lesser rod of extend. Those things are really useful. And he desperately needs an enchanted weapon so that is on the top of his list. Probably enchant the armor too before you go and get killed.

Honestly, I don't know that I have much use for loot at this point; I'm fine with opting out and increasing everyone else's share.

Just pour it into enchanting your bow and/or doru, neither of which is magical at this point. No need to micro-manage your gear. I, on the other hand, will probably do a little micro-managing.

Though with ABP, enchanting the one that is attuned is not as effective. Therefore I'm going for:

+1 weapon, bane (giants) 3000
+1 armor defiant (giants) 2000
beast-bond brand 500
sell scabbard of honing and whetstone -250 gp
Amulet of Mighty Fists +1 (for Little Buddy) 2000
Lesser Metamagic Rod of Extend 1500

Total: 8250

Can he get all of those at the listed manufacturing price, or is there anything he needs to pay full price for?

As we take stock of our cohort NPCs, I have to say that aside from having Blix around to heal us between fights, I don’t think the NPCs really contribute. Usually they don’t participate in the fights at least, and they don’t usually exert their opinions or personalities in our various growls and scuffles with each other. And from a game balance point of view, we certainly don’t need their help. Lidia is at least as good a ranger as Hildy. I’d say cut loose both dwarves and keep Blix, and I’m not sure we need any new hangers on, unless they have some unavoidable plot purpose in the future.

Yeah, like, I'm a PC and I don't even really participate in fights anymore. (Admittedly, part of that's my own doing; I didn't build Thyste for damage output.) Blix is great for our lack of healers, whereas Ferin's addition would mostly be to give Thyste an outlet for her intentional misinterpretation of where to put the space in the word "Giantslayer."

Which I'm happy to play with (especially as it interacts with Thyste's confusing, growing loyalty to Lidia), but only if the GM doesn't mind going hard on the roleplay ;P Thyste doesn't strike me as the type to be against polyamory, after all.
