Wow, okay. I dawdle and the last two submissions are nearly the same as mine, one in mechanics and one in story. Oh well...
Anyways, here's Jeshki Urzica, arrow champion swashbuckler VMC rogue and forgotten Lodovka bastard.
It was about this time that Jeshki first became curious about the circumstances of her birth. She still had the letter that introduced her as "Jeshki Lodovka", and a bit of asking around gave her the revelation that the Lodovka were a noble famliy of Brevoy. Though they weren't as well-known in the capital, their lands being far away to the north, they maintained a small contingent in New Stetven, and Jeshki reasoned that it must have been one of these envoys who were her parents. Here, her investigation hit a wall. Though Valin's clientele included some members of the upper circles of society, they either weren't around when Jeshki would have been born, or could not recall who of the Lodovka were around at that time, or whether or not they would still be in the capital. Still, some recalled rumors of some sort of small family crisis in years past regarding an illegitimate child, but they advised Jeshki not to pry, lest her unknown father decide to rid himself of her for good. Trusting the truth to reveal itself to her in time, if it were the will of the gods, Jeshki agreed to not pursue the matter further, satisfied with the answers that she had found.
Even though she lived more comfortably for a while as Valin's assistant, Jeshki evenually felt the pull of adventure, and even the bowyer agreed with the Urzica elders that the girl was destined for greater things in life. Hearing about the Swordlords' interest in the Stolen Lands from a customer, she decided to take a shot in the dark and join the expeditions. Saying her goodbyes to Valin and the city that she'd lived in her entire life, Jeshki headed south to Restov and signed up, hoping to prove that she has no use for her Lodovka blood, and to make a name for the Urzica to honor her real family. And, perhaps, if they were still surviving out wherever they ended up, they would come join Jeshki in her new kingdom.
Small, muscular, and light on her feet, Jeshki seems like she's constantly in motion, even when she's standing still. Her eyes dart around out of habit, looking for danger, and she keeps a hand on one of her many weapons at all times. On her back are a well-crafted bow and an overloaded pack that seems nearly as big as Jeshki herself.
Jeshki is intensely loyal to those who she's close to or who she needs to depend on - her family, Valin, or her new band of companions, for example - but rather distrustful of anyone else, due to her time on the streets of New Stetven. She doesn't have much interest in rulership and power, only seeking to preserve life and freedom for herself and those around her.
Pretty different from my original ideas...I guess a mount will have to wait for another game.

Supposedly if you or your GM has the right roll20 subscription, then mobile users can edit the map from the browser.
Do you have a roll20 subscription of any kind, GM?
Will this be a now fey-heavy or more kingdom-heavy campaign?
I have a Roll20 Pro account.
It will, of course, be kingdom oriented in the beginning with more and more fey influence creeping in over the course of the AP.
I will look and see if that's the right kind of account for mobile access. That's encouraging, though.
I realize now I asked the wrong question; of course Kingmaker will have some kingdom building. What I meant to ask was whether this campaign will be heavy on the game of thrones type stuff; machinations, scheming, backdoor deals, backstabbing, plotting, etc. I like the sound of what you said so far.
That works for me. Looking forward to seeing who gets selected!

It appears we are missing fair representation from the wee folk, so I submit Samara, singer to the wild beasts!
Growing up outside of Thom, Samara's parents were traders... although their real business was in trafficking black market good and fencing stolen merchandise.
Keeping to herself mostly as a child, she spent a lot of time in the forest, singing to the squirrels and foxes she found, dreaming of stories she had heard about the First World. She was fascinated by fey creatures, although she had not yet seen one, and would spend hours play acting as if she were one of them.
Samara never had much of a taste for the family business, and even less so when some unhappy customers came calling. As the family ran fro their lives, Samara vowed she would find a way to do better than her family name. But she was still very unclear on what that meant.
At least she found a way to make a few coins by telling stories and singing a song or two. Watching passing minstrels, she finally decided on the course her life would take. But she needs a mentor...
I'll need to expand on this, but it gives a bit of the flavor I am going for. Samara will be 25% druid / 75% bard and certainly more of a support/healing character.

• Races- While I prefer keeping to the races found in the Core Rulebook if you think you can convince me why some of the more monstrous races would be interested in exploring and clearing the Greenbelt of bandits feel free to try.
....
Question could I be a Hill Giant Looking for a new place to call home?
I can wipe up level 1 character fast since I have a level 1 hill giant from another recruitment that could be updated quickly.

I was thinking more along the lines of goblins, kobolds, or orcs when I wrote that but I'm afraid I have to draw the line at a hill giant.

Okay, everybody, that's a wrap. I'm closing recruitment now.
With today being my daughter's birthday (we're heading out the door for dinner as we speak) and tomorrow being the 4th of July holiday anyone who has dotted/posted for interest has until 6 p.m. Friday to finish up.
I will go over the submissions this weekend and will be PM'ing any questions I have then. I will announce the final six on Sunday evening.
Thank you all for your interest.

I will be camping with my son this weekend, without internet access. If you happen to have questions for me, I might not get back to you until Sunday afternoon/evening. I'm not ignoring you :)
BTW: It is my birthday today as well. Happy Birthday to your daughter from a fellow crab!

That sucks since it is the weakest of the Monster classes and would of been something unique.
Hoping you don't then mind a Half-giant instead.

Sorry for the radio silence, everyone. The first week of July is a busy one for me between my daughter's birthday on the 3rd, the 4th of July, my wife's birthday on the 5th, and now my sister's birthday today i've been a little preoccupied.
But, without further ado here are the six finalists (in no particular order)
Pyros Aldori
Halden Elwood
Kern Therensgard
Faerin Cordova
Signy Birkirsdottir
and last but not least
Teryll Tholor
To the rest of you thank you for your interest. If for any reason the game should need a replacement player I will look back here first. Good luck and good gaming.
For the chosen few please check in to the discussion thread and I'll get the gameplay thread started tomorrow.
If you'll excuse me I'm heading out the door for my sister's party and will gladly answer any questions tonight when I get back.
