This is the experimental paladin I made for the express purpose of purchasing the item you get for playing all 4 scenarios... a "Poverty" paladin who has earned a LOT of gold to try and buy it as soon as possible in return for not buying but a couple 100gp or less items

As such, She's much more "Support" roll than "Tank" roll you normally see in paladins, because wands are a thing I can buy with prestige. Just giving you guys a heads up, as she's a lot more... um... careful, than a standard paladin.

Quick question: If I wanted Silgil to swap out his bonded ring for a bonded lesser metamagic rod of extend, does he need the extend metamagic feat or have to be higher level?

You need to have all the prerequisite to craft. Craft Rod is CL9th so you need to wait until 9th to get a lesser meta magic rod of extend (you still can change for a non-magical rod).

I don't think PFS characters are allowed to get craft skills. So he would just need to be 9th level, right? Not get the feat?

Sorry I was'nt clear! You don't need the craft feet, you only need to have the prerequisite.
So yes, you just need to be caster lever 9th :)

Rods are not an option for bonded object, pretty sure you are limited to amulet, ring, staff, wand or weapon.

Really? Thanks for the heads up. I should look at staffs then. I've held off on picking a magical bonded item until I could get a really good one. Right now it is a plain vanilla ring.
