This room contains a pair of bedrolls made of leaves
and vines. A small barrel sits in the southeast corner of
the room. There is a hole in the floor in the southwest
corner from which a wooden ladder protrudes.
I put the complex map up as slide 2
As Singol enters the room two more ratfolk jump out and sneer menacingly the halfling.

Seeing the ratfolk pause, Duraz tries a less violent approach. "We don't have to fight. How about we talk?" He places himself between the rat people and Singol.
Also was busy during the week... ^_^
Kathe watches or rather hears of yet another of these ratmen going down despite the efforts of Duraz to try to talk peacefully. She appreciates the effort the cleric made at least. Due diligence ant all, right? She shakes her head, feeling that there hasn't been an opportunity yet to justify why she's even there. Not that she's looking for such an event... no. If the entire day goes by where all she does is stand around and shake and clap and cheer, she can sleep soundly still.
"Perhaps we should announce ourselves and intentions? Not that we haven't more or less made our presence known throughout the whole tomb."
Singol takes a few minutes and find a razor wire across the doorway.

into a small room. There is a circular hole in the rear of
the chamber from which a wooden ladder extends
about half a foot.

He easily cuts the wire. Otherwise the room is empty.
There's nothing of interest in the room apart from the trap.
down the ladder?
Singol only:
Mike did you distribute all your ranks? You have mwk thieves tools too. I'm thinking with the tools and 5 ranks your DD should be +9? You're 2nd level too. +4 is kinda low
"I'm not entirely sure... uh, maybe just shout when we're about to enter a room. I don't think our presence here is a secret. Anything here that wants to lie in wait is either already doing so or listening for it. But maybe with enough evidence that we're not easily stopped, we can get attempts at diplomatic resolutions over with before putting ourselves into harm's way."
Otherwise, she offers a shrug, unsure truly how to proceed with such hostilities... however non-threatening they were proving themselves to be. Albeit, they are encroaching on someone's hovel. She doesn't quite know the history behind these ratmen and their relationship with the town and hopes the killing is justifiable...

The party finds a trap inside but Singol is quick enough to jam a piece of metal in the side of the swinging block to permanently prevent it's escape.

assuming you head to the NW room
Peering into this chamber you see a mass of writhing
snakes that appear to have entered the space through a
crack in the stone foundation. There is a circular hole
in the rear of the chamber from which a wooden ladder
extends about half a foot.

"Let the snakes in peace, I believe we should be descending now. I agree with Kathe, we should try and see if we need to solve this by combat.", Duraz says. He suggests taking the NE room #6 to descend. He announces his descent saying loudly "Coming down!"
After so long searching the rooms, his protective aura dissipates.
sorry for the confusion. You guys did #6 on the 3rd. There was a swining block trap which was disabled. It's the rope ladders in all rooms now. With one with snakes.
Kathe tags along, all fifth wheel-like and such. She sticks to being at the back of the group as they sate their curiosities with the exploration and hopes that her presence will be justified at some point. Though, if she is honest, not being needed for something like a combat is a good thing.
The ladder descends into a fifteen by fifteen foot square
room. A stone burial vault sits against the east wall. A
large statue of a Dejy man wearing a feathered
headdress stands against the north wall. Four clay urns
rest along the south wall.
Know Local DC 15:
the tomb is most likely a scared Dejy burial space. (Since the Dejey tribesmen sent you in here, you don't think it's a good idea to loot the tomb0

Duraz replies to Haldyr saying "Well, we're not here to deal with the stones or the dead, but with the living who might be 'terrorizing' the town". He spoke the word 'terrorizing' with air quotes, remembering how dismissive the farmer had been about the ratman's sighting. "The presence of a hiding summoner also worries me. We should just make sure they don't mean anyone harm and leave this place as we found it, as best we can", he said hoping the wizard is just a curious and careless student.
