@Hector, the parry worked against the elemental, but the riposte lacks the ability to reach the target. I see you have step up. You could spend an immediate action to do that, but then you wouldn't be able to take another immediate action to riposte.
If I've overlooked something, please let me know.
Hector, The Flame of Liberty! |
That all sounds right and you've intuited correctly that I wouldn't Step Up in that case. Thanks.

Could you link to the post about the potions?
As for our chronicle sheets I generally don't have the GM note my faction card progress but if you want to you can.
I have a boon that allows me to fill two goals after each scenario and I have 2 left on my season 8 card.
"Fulfill one of the goals above on an Elemental Plane or in pursuit of the freedom of a creature with the air, earth, elemental, fire, or water subtype. Checking one of this goal’s boxes doesn’t prevent you from checking one box for a different goal."
The goal in question: Liberate one or more slaves, captives, or hostages during an adventure.

Should Scroll of Remove curse fail which I'm expecting it too based this being Alden.
I'll pay the costs for the Curse to be removed via PP.

Could you link to the post about the potions?
Was after the weird spirit/ghost lady in the cave, here.
Theo drank one of the endure elements, and used both the cure lights on Fairbeaks.
But there is still:
potions of endure elements x 3
potion of remove disease
wand of lesser restoration (5 charges)
scroll of remove curse
elixir of heal
GM Lorenzo |
Good recall, Theo.
Remove curse is on the oracle and wizard/sorcerer spell list. Does Hector or Ninlil want to hook their cursed brother up, or shall the hellknight Alden continue to build moral character through this trial of adversity?
To have any chance of activating a scroll spell, the scroll user must meet the following requirements.
The spell must be of the correct type (arcane or divine). Arcane spellcasters (wizards, sorcerers, and bards) can only use scrolls containing arcane spells, and divine spellcasters (clerics, druids, paladins, and rangers) can only use scrolls containing divine spells. (The type of scroll a character creates is also determined by his class.)
The user must have the spell on her class list.
The user must have the requisite ability score.
If the user meets all the requirements noted above, and her caster level is at least equal to the spell’s caster level, she can automatically activate the spell without a check. If she meets all three requirements but her own caster level is lower than the scroll spell’s caster level, then she has to make a caster level check (DC = scroll’s caster level + 1) to cast the spell successfully. If she fails, she must make a DC 5 Wisdom check to avoid a scroll mishap. A natural roll of 1 always fails, whatever the modifiers. Activating a scroll is a standard action (or the spell’s casting time, whichever is longer) and it provokes attacks of opportunity exactly as casting a spell does. If the caster level check fails but no mishap occurs, the scroll is not expended.

Moral Character?
Alden is a cesspit of Morality!
:P
_Urien |
Its on the bard list too.
Didn't realize that. Urien would be more than happy to give it a go with the scroll then...
GM Lorenzo |
I'll get the Chronicles done today and post the link here in the Discussion thread.
Haliban Corentas |
So goal of Liberate a captive: In pursuit of the freedom of a creature with the air subtype.
Checks out for faction goal purposes?
Thank you for GMing.
Presumably between the scroll of remove curse and the Elixir of Heal we can get any lasting conditions handled.
Hector, The Flame of Liberty! |
Thanks for a fun game, GM Lorenzo and everyone.
Ninlil of Dilmun |
Ninlil will absolutely help out with the remove curse!
Thanks for playing with me, everyone. Thanks for running, GM Lorenzo. It was fun!
GM Lorenzo |
You can access your Chronicles here.
Please let me know if you need me to correct any errors or omissions.
We're waiting for a reporting link to get the Special sessions submitted to Paizo. I'll post here again, as soon as that's done.
Theo Rosevale |
Theo's faction is listed wrong. He is not in the Dark Archive faction!
He is in The Exchange (via Sczarni)!
Were you going to mark the 2 PP cost of the planetary adaptation spell on there? Or should we fill that bit in?
Reporting is here!, if you're still looking.
GM Lorenzo |
@Everybody: Please note you each spent 1 PP at the start of the mission for spell casting services for planetary adaptation. (Thanks for catching that, Theo.)
@Theo, the corrected Chronicle can be found at the same link.
@nightdeath, I provided your email address and your winning of boon #4 in my reporting. Let me know if you don't get it within a few days.
I reported the session; #18 if there are any issues. (Earlier, the link was missing #8-00 The Cosmic Captive in its drop-down menu, but it's there now, and I let the other GMs know.)
GM Lorenzo |
Check again; you should see it there now. I apologize for the inconvenience.
_Urien |
Confirming receipt of chronicle and that it looks correct to me. Thanks much for GM'ing a fun game for us!
GM Lorenzo |
I'll be making the campaign inactive tomorrow morning. If you have any unresolved issues with your Chronicle or the reporting in your Paizo sessions history, let me know. It might take the organizers a few days to take the Retrocon reports from the GMs and upload them on Paizo.com.
If you don't see anything in your sessions history by the end of the week, let me know. I've got an email confirmation of my reporting with everyone's information. If you need a copy, let me know.
My email address is SmithLAIII@gmail.com.
