Background:
Born in Minkai in the distant lands of Tian Xia, Theodore Rosevale has always felt out of place. His parents were foreigners in that country, there on an extended diplomatic trade mission from Highhelm. With his folks often busy and focused more on work then family, Theo spent most of his early years on his own.
He grew up in a land of people who treated him like a stranger, so he began to spend a great deal of his time alone, exploring the countryside and learning to live off of it. When he finally did get the chance to leave, he took it without hesitation and returned to land of his parent's birth, glad to be away from the land of his own. Unfortunately, having grown up in a foreign land with foreign customs and people, he felt like just as much a stranger in Avistan as he did in Tian Xia. The only things he kept from where he came, were his faith in his chosen deity Yamatsumi, god of mountains and volcanoes, a preference for his god's chosen weapon, the tetsubo, and a young axe beak hatchling he has trained himself. He joined up with the Pathfinders hoping to find a place to belong... and the Sczarni offered him a family... how could he refuse?! And the whole 'Little Foot' fiasco? Don't ask.
