Thank you all for joining my game. My goal is for each and every one of you to walk away thinking 2 things: 1) Man, that was a lot of fun, I can't wait to do it again; and 2) That DM Bigrin guy is a great GM, I want to play in more of his games :)

Once you have settled on a character I need the following information.

As mentioned in the recruitment post, we will be using Roll20 for our maps. If you haven't already done so, go to Roll20 and register your account and make sure you can move the tokens. Quick Halfing question. On page 511 of the Starfinder book, the halfing gets +1 to all saves and +3 vs Fear. Do I get +1 to will and then +3 to fear on top of that. Or do I get +1 to will and +2 to fear on top of that for a total of +3 to fear?

It says "This bonus increases to +3 against fear effects.", not "add an additional +3 against fear effects." So yeah, a total of +3 vs. fear effects.

No worries, Xerric. We have all been there, I imagine. At one point I had 8 different game systems I was playing regularly at the same time. No, only a few (thank goodness).

My Roll20 should be set up under MisterSlanky. I can already see GM Birgin's Starfinder Table 1.

On the Roll20 as "Phoenomus." The map shows up as black? Not sure if that's on purpose or not.

Okay, while we wait for our laggard player, let's go ahead and get started.

Before we really get started, does anyone have a problem with the "two and go" approach to decision making? Basically, that means if at least 2 people agree on a course of action, and there is no strong dissent, then I just move ahead with that decision? It helps keep PBP games moving along.

I'm fine with that - especially since in-character I'll try to draw out decision-making as long as humanly (pun intended) possible.

The way I run combats is to have everyone who is up (init block) post and then I'll feather in everyone's actions in initiative order. that way we aren't waiting for one person to post. If you have actions that heavily depend on other people's actions, either delay (and post that you are doing so), or put your alternatives in spoiler blocks and I'll choose which one applies. So, if your name is in BOLD in the combat tracker, you're free to post!

Just an FYI - I'll be traveling for work the next two days. Posting may be spotty.

As another FYI - I'll be traveling to the left coast for a couple days for work. Flight leaves tomorrow at 6:30 AM and doesn't return until 11 PM on Wednesday. I'll be in meetings for that entire time so hopefully I'll get one post in at least (but may not be more than that).

After that Thursday through Sunday I'll be on a road trip also with spotty coverage.

I was looking over previous posts and realized I missed your question about the album, Bigrin. REMO did not purchase a copy. I don't think he's much for recorded music; he seems to me the type more interested in music as an experience rather than a recorded event. I'm getting the impression he's very tactile in his approach to things.

I just sent Bodo and Xerric a PM to see if either was going to finish out this scenario. I hate that you guys got bailed on by half your team.

Will we still be considered a legal table if we get reduced to less than 4? I'd like to finish out the scenario regardless but it will be a bummer if we don't get credit for it.

Being non-diplomatic character, wasn't sure how to act around the kids so I let the diplomacy trained handle it, and having played this before, didn't want to take other actions that would spoil the game, but now it is time to take matters in Bodo's own hands with the kids.
