I am so SO sorry for the long wait to post. It's been an unbelievably crazy week thanks to my birthday. Between the Renaissance Festival and a second trip to the State Fair, I haven't had a chance to turn on my computer to get my posts up! I swear I'll do better about keeping things up to date starting tonight. Thank you all for your patience. : (

I will departing on Saturday for a week-long trip to Florida to celebrate my parents' 30th wedding anniversary. As I'll be spending most of that week in various theme parks and such, my internet access will be pretty limited. Please bot Eostre as necessary until I return.
Hi all - just a little notice on my availability: I am leaving Thursday for a week-long work trip to Colombia, and then the day after I get back, I turn around and head to Puerto Rico to help with hurricane cleanup until mid-November. I will have internet some of the time, but will be very busy so posting time will be limited.

I'm around and okay. Back from Puerto Rico, leaving Saturday for two weeks to help clean up after the California wildfires - but at least that's only a few hours from home. As before, I'll still have internet access, just may be very busy during that time.

Truth be told, I'm simply feeling exhausted of running Pathfinder. I'm enjoying playing more than running it.

Part of me wants to try my hand at a Vampire campaign (it's been nagging at me for a while now), but considering I'm GMing so many campaigns at once...
Truth be told, I'm simply feeling exhausted of running Pathfinder. I'm enjoying playing more than running it.
If that's the case, shouldn't you consider ending some of those games that exhaust you? Or maybe try to find replacement GMs for them? If you're no longer playing/running games for fun, then what's the point? Especially if keeping up with them makes you feel exhausted.
I'd really like to see this game continue, but I've had a similar experience. I once played in 16 games at once. Making a single post in every game took me hours, and it ruined the fun I had playing in those games. When I significantly reduced the amount of games I was in, I once again enjoyed playing in all of them.
I've been there too, Evelyn. I've had about that many games going before, and it was exhausting and stressful rather than fun. I've cut back quite a bit and, though there are moments when I check the boards and it seems like nothing is happening, it's better than feeling like I have to check for new posts and struggle to keep up.
I'd also like to see this game continue, but if it's not fun for the GM, it's worth asking whether something should change.

Dear people,
I'm currently recovering from a nasty case of the flu. As I'm also in the process of moving out of my parents' house, my posts will be incredibly sporadic or even non-existent for the time being. They may even stay so for a while after I stop feeling icky, because of the many things I'll have to do to make my house livable.
Due to the nature of my work and inability to take days off (except when icky), it may take roughly a week or three before I'll be able to resume posting normally.
