I guess I'm a better roleplayer than I thought. Though now there's the question of how to get the other members of the group to like her after she's been so dismissive to most of them by now. And what can get her to eventually shift to LG by the end of the campaign.

I'm not letting too much of Eostre's backstory slip now am I? I want her fear of Elias Tammerhawk and stuff to be a driving motivation for her to get stronger until her character development kicks in, but I'm worried I'm setting up that development too early in the story. This needs to be a gradual thing that takes all AP long.
I wouldn't worry about it. Exposition is usually a little awkward and heavy-handed. If this were a novel you were writing, where you were in control of all the elements of the story, then you could limit that. But, in a RPG/PbP, where six people are all pouring in their own expositions, you kind of have to just dump it all out on the table...
Once it's out there, you can shape the pieces going forward with a little more subtlety.

Well, it's more of an informal proposal, really--it's so I have my thoughts in order when I meet with my prospective supervisor on Monday. If it all goes well, it'll be my research project for the thesis.
I'm planning to do a study on how first-year university students cope with difficulties making friends, basically.

I apologize for the unannounced disappearance. I've had a lot on my mind and felt like I needed sometime to sort things out.
I've decided I am quitting PBP, mostly for personal reasons and the need to focus on personal projects that I am not working on as much as I should. I am sorry for returning with bad news, I've had plenty of enjoyable moments with you all and wish you the best of luck.
