I didn't realize there was enough of a civilized presence in the area to expect anti-bandit patrols. Where are they out of? Also, what's the scale on the borderlands provinces map that brvheart has up? 1 hex = ??? miles

That's a heck of a lon-ranged patrol on horseback - Zelkor's Ferry/the Masoleum is 300 miles from Eastwych, and farther from Eastgate... I think you're right to be suspicious Lars.
