Well, without intervention, Ainolas is out and due for a trip to the infirmary until she recovers. I'm not dead, but she's likely out. *grin* Still, this is perfect fodder for a Ghost Totem Barbarian!

I do hereby nominate Morgrym the scrounger as chair of the squad's appropriations committee.

MAPS

Seconded.

Ainolas cares not for this war that she was conscripted into, and owes him for finding her healing.

Morgrym appreciates nominations but must decline any titles or recognition which may lessen future appropriational opportunities

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Trux, Bane 88, and The Nine are cleared to enter our trench as fresh faced recruits.

For the new guys:
You are given a shirt of mail, a small shield, a short spear, and a light crossbow along with a pack containing a canteen, three days of rations, a small utility shovel, and a blanket. Then you are lined up and you begin your march forward into the echoing booms and dancing flashes from your new home.

How on god's green earth did you get a strength score of 22 at level 1, especially as a race that doesn't give a strength bonus?

It's eighteen, the stats shown are with rage activated. I didn't notice that at first thanks for the catch.

Truxis will probably ditch the shield and armor asap after introductions.
If anyone wants one, feel free to speak up when the time comes.

Hmm.. All things considered, is it possible to rotate Ainolas out into the infirmary until she's healed? I'm aware it would take me out of the game until the next introduction of new people, but it doesn't seem practical for her to remain in that state.

--That is, unless the kingdom cares not for the grunts, in which case she remains.

Viktor would also lobby to get her some medical attention. A one legged soldier is no soldier at all.

Youall can definitely go see if you can find a caring officer in the second line. The fate dice shall decide.

I fear they would kill us on sight if we turned around.

Also, is this setting borrowed from another setting. In fiction somewhere, I assume?

At the moment, I'm looking for new reading material. If anyone can slide me a recommendation, I'd appreciate it.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

The setting is entirely original, though the idea to run this kind of game was inspired by The All Guardsman Party, a kind of well written campaign log of a Warhammer 40k game. The environment and Fate die are of my own creation.

Yeah, know the party. Wasn't sure about the warfare.
Ahso shadow and claw by wolfe is next then

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

OK, just waiting on a final decision to go and some semblance of a marching order.

Ainolas will take 10 on that for an 11. And not be happy about it.

Choon, somewhat silly question. We are down in this trench area. How close behind the trench line would be the nearest support area?

Basically have the silly idea that these guys are going in, and I might want to climb up and run back to grab some extra bodies, considering we are outnumbered like 2 to 1 here, according to the preliminary count.

Sovereign Court

Male Flowing Monk| HP 9/12 AC 16 |PerC +6 |Init +4 F+3/R+6/W+4

I think we will have to bruise them before we can go back for reinforcements, now that we have lost our stealth advantage.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

You are at least 100 feet from the second line.

Y'all let me know if you ever want to pick this up and play again!

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

The fault for this stalking is mine. Work hit me hard this last Monday and I haven't gotten to this game yet. My apologies.

You all can end the combat here if you wish, but you don't have to.

I motion that we end combat.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

With this many of us still up and able, the ending is a foregone conclusion, just a question of whether or not you're looking to wear us down by attrition of hit points, or hand-waving the results.

ok its been seven days without a single post. Please message me in a PM if this starts back up, but I am not going to be checking daily. I still look forward to playing. Thank you

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Indeed. I need to give youall some context.
My life has taken a turn for the busy. My wife is extremely pregnant and I have entered a time when she really need me around. This, my time for the boards had been reduced.

Because of this, I decided as of last night to drop this game and certain other games I am involved in. I want to thank youall for being willing to pay with me, and I hope this isn't a soul crushing disappointment. I am sorry it didn't pan out.

Cheers. I had a good time, good luck with the delivery. It is a shame that you didn't get to kill anyone during your 'Meatgrinder campaign to help you get more comfortable with kill PC's' game though. Next time!
