You mean smash it forwards, don't you?

Well, naturally that is Rolg's preferred method of resolving issues. :D

Pending official word, it looks like Rolg just earned another win... as well as a few musket-ball wholes.

Good game, Grogg. You got robbed on those musket damage rolls.

Scarab Sages

Has Rolg lost yet? Ever? I can't remember.

I'm still looking for a challenge once my last match has been confirmed to be over.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

Rolg and Aurum tied in the last set up. We basically came out to a draw because neither could hit the other. That's about it. He's got a great build.

Rolg has been forced into a draw against two different monks, and the only 'loss' he's suffered (and it was a crushing emotional loss) was when he lost the drinking game to the monkey man from the test arena. Otherwise, he's undefeated in the actual arenas.

I'd be open to a fight against ya, Hirtz, if you're game. if Arbiter's fine with it, we could use the Pit Rolg just got finished with.

I'm up for it. Though now I'm tempted to go look over Rolg's previous fights.

Feel free. It's a lot of size-changing and hammer-smashing, though there have been a few other tactics employed as well.

Jehova, when you get a chance (and assuming I get the official "win" post in Pit 4), can you set me and Hirtz Factor up for a Challenge fight in that same Pit?

The fact that quite a few have come to a draw interests me, but I'll find out when we have our match. Hopefully this build will continue to show strength in its third match. The first was an unfortunate match up for him, but melee is where he shines.

I can tell you now what those are.

The two fights in question were against Charan (a Vanaran Crane Style monk @ level 2) and against Arum (a human Crane/Snake Style monk @ level 3).

They both (for the most part) stayed defensive to negate at least one attack per round, trying to out-last Rolg. So Rolg also went defensive.

Basically, it was a long-shot for either fighter to win (and would have likely required an obscene amount of rolling), so the fighters agreed in both circumstances to call it a Draw instead of forcing us to fight it out.

It's a really strong build, if I understand it (it's tricky given that i have to go from non-spoilered info) you've got a lot going for you. I think I know what I'm going to try against you, but it's far from a sure thing. your little goblin just has such high numbers (both offensively and defensively).

Yeah, I went for a nice balance with him, though it can turn into a game of attrition. I'm hoping to get him up at least one more level and both his defensive and offensive capabilities will increase a bit more again.

And things like Crane Style are kind of why I built something that starts with multiple attacks. It helps keep Gnasher in the game should he come up against such an opponent. I just need to work on his ranged tactics.

Yup yup.

So has Rolg won 3 then?

Not in the live arena. I didn't do a Challenge match between the RAndomized matches, so i only have 2 wins, so he's still level 3.

So I'll either bump you a level, tie you, or move you a step back. Should be interesting. I might go ahead and look over some of your previous fights since you've seen some of his.

if I had links, i'd give'em to you. But I didn't track fight links in the old thread. Sorry.

Nah, your good. I'm actually keeping links for Gnasher's fights in his profile.

Just from looking at the one fight, it looks like ours would be rather interesting.

I think so.

Now the wait for the match to be announced.

Scarab Sages

Bruno and BASHA's fight looks like its the battle of the meat-grinders.

ROLG THE RED

"Ta ham ned, Bruno! FOR DVERGER!"

Dwarven:
"Take him down, Bruno! FOR DWARVES!"

I'm itching for a fight.

Yep. Arbiter hasn't been aroudn since this morning, though, so we may just have to be patient.

And thinking about everything, I've come up with a question. Can you tumble while charging by taking the +10 to the DC to move at full speed?

I can't think of a reason why not. I'll look around, though.

I was seeing that it should work as long as you go full speed as opposed to the normal half movement for using acrobatics to avoid attacks of opportunity.

MUAHAHA...

I have a joke for you Rolg.

Why do all Dwarves have a beard?

Spoiler:

BECAUSE THEY WANT TO LOOK LIKE THEIR MOTHERS.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey Bruno, you up for a challenge fight, or was your fight against BASHA a challenge fight? I'm up for fighting a camel and her lackey ;-)

I probably won't be able to take too many turns until tonight, maybe 5 hours from now?

BASHA, I'd fight you too, if you're interested.

Unfortunately, Rolg doesn't speak Common. :/

Too bad.:)

Maybe Bruno can translate.

Funny enough, Gnasher does speak Dwarven.

I would be.

But I don't know if I can.I only was in one random and already had a challenge match so we'll see.

But Bruno probably needs the win more so if he wants to go, no problem.

Uhhh...Tell him what I said, tell him:)

Gnasher translates for Rolg's benefit...

Scarab Sages

Bruno's a good translator. He interpreted (and then participated in) the aforementioned drinking contest.
And I'll be more than happy to accept any challenge. I need a win to prove that Bruno is, in fact, an effective build. :)

Yep, but your challenge match was before your randomized match, so I think it would still be allowed. I believe it's just that you can't have two challenges in a row. As long as there is a random one in between, it's all good.

We have to wait for the Pit Master, but hopefully we can play tonight.

Whoops, simulpost. Ok, since I challenged Bruno first, let's do it then. Bruno, I accept your accepting of my challenge! Have at thee!

Good,I wanted to buy new gear anyway. BASHA needs some reach.

Oh mah gawd, I'm getting to it, I'm getting to it!

Sorry all, had a more intensive work day than usual, am going through fights now, then I'll set up some challenges.

A challenge bout has been set up in pit two for Bruno and Shigeharu, and one in pit four for Rolg and Gnasher. Also, I've added links at the top of Campaign Description to each pit, for your convenience.

The challenges do, the challenges.

who needs a challenge?

I would, but I'm in the middle of a challenge. Hopefully the fight will pick up soon. Been antsy.

yeah and we can only do one challenge between the randomized matches, so ill need someone who hasn't already accepted one this round. ;)

Indeed. No crazy goblin for you.

Yea, I was hoping to be able to.do.my challenge against Bruno, but he's already in one again, so I have to wait again for the next randomization. :-(
