GM Gristle |
1d3 ⇒ 3
Silvash easily makes it into the back room where the priest is standing in front of some circle chanting while candles and incense burn along five points as if summoning something.
GM Gristle |
Ibrah holds the orb proudly above his head and nothing happens save a quick attempt on his life by a nearby monk.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
He feels the breeze of the scimitar as it flashes by his face. The monk's footing was bad, so not only did he miss the shot, he slipped in the process.
GM Gristle |
The captive dwarves hug the wall as the pit is but ten feet in front of them and about ten feet behind the misty melee.
Khartelosch |
At the dwarf's signal, Khartelosch lowers his powerful shoulder and bull rushes his assailant, hoping to send him into the pit.
(He has no feats, so the meaning gets an aoo)
Bull Rush: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Woohoo! I'm guessing that's good for 10 feet at least.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah stows the orb and looks to see where the others are.
I don't know if that leaves me with a Standard or a Move action. Did Ibrah see any of the people who went into the other room?

GM Gristle |
Ibrah did not see any one enter any room but is witnessing a grand struggle to avoid the pit as Khartelosch succeeds in pushing one of the ten "monks" into the pit, screaming all of the way down.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah tries to step away from the nearest monk, then mumbles a spell.
5 foot step then Shield of Faith

GM Gristle |
Verrin goes hard with a flurry of blows at the nearest monk.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Although the first sword misses it's mark, the second one connects with the sternum to slice a deep gash across the chest of the monk he was facing.
Khartelosch succeeds in pushing his adversary screaming into the pit.
Ibrah is ready for battle.
GM Gristle |
Silvash and Thaane witness the summoning of some sort of other-worldly devil in the back room by the priest.
A monk attacks Verrin for harming his "brother."
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
The scimitar finds its mark and brings a first wound to the swordsman.
Khartelosch is attacked again by the group nearest to him.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Damage to Khart: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Ibrah still largely blends in with the confusion. This scimitar-wielding monk has lost sight of him for now.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Can you give me a summary/recap of everything going on? What is visible to Ibrah right now.

GM Gristle |
Miraculously, Silvash goes undetected as he approaches the priest concentrating on the summoning of a devil. Thaane is mesmerized by the seen as he appears to be in some sort of trance.
Khartelosch continues to get pummeled by 4 of the nine remaining monks. One, severely maimed by Verrin studies the tiefling as the monk grips his bleeding chest. The monks who only detected Khartelosch are starting to recognize that there are other traitors amongst them.
Ibrah finds himself now exposed inside the fray with a deep pit on his right and a melee to the left and front of him. Of course he could lead the retreat, but that has never been his style.
Ibrah. There is a pit ten feet to your right. You are on the edge of the brawl as their attention was drawn towards you as you raised the orb.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah works his way a few feet away from the fight, muttering as he goes. His Glaive appears in his right hand, the butt of the polearm tucked into the small of his back and the tip extending to his side. Still muttering, he extends his left arm to the monks, palm up, and gestures for them to approach.
5' step or move action (+ acrobatics checks if threatened) to get at least 15' away from monks. If move action is left, he puts the orb in his handy haversack, otherwise he drops it on the ground. Cast divine favor as a Standard Action. Use Judgment until the end of the combat for +2 Damage as a Swift Action.
Ibrah gets 3 AoOs per round. Bring it on!
Current buffed stats:
AC 21 (Shield of Faith)
Glaive - (10ft. reach) +7 (1d10+7, x3)
Unarmed Strike - +11 (1d6+7, x2)
Obviously if Khart can help draw them over that's great. Bring on the AoO storm!
GM Gristle |
Verrin makes another attack on the monk he nearly killed.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Verrin's flash of temple swords finish off another monk as the count drops to 8.
Khartelosch |
As the monks attacking him suddenly have to deal with vines sprouting up to entangle them, Khartelosch takes a swing with his greataxe at the one on his left and then tries to somersault 15 feet out of their range.
Axe: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 damage: 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
GM Gristle |
Khartelosch misses his attack, but the badly injured Half-Orc forward rolls away from the crowd drawing three monks after him and into the waiting reach of the ready Ibrah.
GM Gristle |
Thaane stands transfixed while the summoning of the devil is complete and the priest is coming out of full concentration from this activity.
Who has disturbed me? the demon inquires.
Servant, make haste and slay my foes. In service to Zon Kuthon. the priest exclaims.
Repeat order. Silvash, you are up.
GM Gristle |
GM Gristle |
Silvash's rapier pierces the ribs of the priest. Just behind his leather breastplate. He screams in pain then commands the demon to attack Silvash.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah spins his Glaive, striking at the three monks that followed Khartelosch towards him.
AoO one, Glaive, damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
AoO two, Glaive, Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
AoO two, Glaive, damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

GM Gristle |
Ibrah seriously wounds one of the monks, but misses the other two who are now flanking him, ready to reretaliate.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah tumbles away from the monks, then he begins offering some advice. As he does so, his glaive begins to glow. He beckons to the monks again.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Move action to go 15'-20' away from the monks. Standard action to activate Advice. Swift action to activate Magus' Arcane pool.
Current buffed stats:
AC 21 (Shield of Faith)
Glaive - (10ft. reach) +9 (1d10+9, x3) Unarmed Strike - +13 (1d6+8, x2)

GM Gristle |
I'll take Verrin's turn and Khart, you take your turn, then the next round starts over with devil attacking Silvash.
GM Gristle |
From the tip of its lashing tail to the serrated features of its fang-filled visage, this fiery-eyed sentinel bristles with barbs.
The priest commands the creature to attack Silvash.
The creature whips it's spiked tail around the small room sending it strait towards Silvash.
Attack: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
Damage: 3d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 7, 5) + 9 = 29
Silvash is removed from the fight as the devil's tail thrusts through his chest, I'm paling him briefly before pulling it out and watching his body drop to the floor.
DM Holocron |
Khartelosch succeeds in pushing one disciple into the pit again, but is attacked for doing so by the one next to him.
Slice: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Khartelosch is sliced severely across the chest as blood pours from him.
The two disciples hesitate to rush Ibrah after they witness the prowess of his glaive-handling.
Verrin is engaged with same disciple, hoping to finish him off and help Khartelosch and Ibrah clear the room.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Verrin finishes off his bloody goes and looks to help Khartelosch as soon as he can get to him.
GM Gristle |
The blast rips his breastplate off, but the priest is still standing although somewhat haunched.
Ibrah,Gorrim,then Khartelosch
Ibrah Narishtahir |
doesn't Silvash have about 10hp left right now?
-Posted with Wayfinder
Ibrah Narishtahir |
Ibrah slouches in his stance, taking a few lazy steps backward and letting his glaive hang toward the floor. "All you need to take me down is a little bit of... luck." He rubs his left forearm with his right hand as he says the last word.
activating Bit of Luck to roll all d20s twice and take the better result until my next turn. Backed up 5'

Khartelosch |
Khartelosch has mobility, so I wonder if that last attack would have missed him.
Taking a 5-foot step to the side to avoid being easily flanked, Khartelosch draws his axe during the movement and takes a slice at the monk who just swung at him.
I don't know if flanking is possible so I'm just ignoring it for now.
atk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 dmg: 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
GM Gristle |
doesn't Silvash have about 10hp left right now?
-Posted with Wayfinder
Yes, Silvash has ten hp left. Apologies. Silvash, you can take your turn. KHARTELOSCH, that disciple's attack does miss you. Forget the damage.
Silvash Auerial |
Silvash staggers back away from the demon and priest and casts a spell. His area now contains multiple images of him.
Mirror images: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
5' step and cast mirror image. Forgot I had haste on me when I attacked the priest. I should have gotten two attacks. Oh well.
Ibrah Narishtahir |
I bet he posts in the next 12 hours. 24 tops. But if his last post was at 2:30 am eastern it's reasonable to expect another post by that same time.

Silvash Auerial |
Mwk Rapier: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 1 = 14 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Don't think that is going to do it for the second attack. Didn't get a chance to post before work this morning so it waited till the middle of the night. I just hope the mirror image keeps me alive.
GM Gristle |
Before the next round, I need to know where you, Silvash are in relation to the Priest because of his next attack.
