Lol, every campaign needs a Bolts.

Ok, so you are going to have to bear with me. I am out of town, I had to get a new phone and I don't own any of the books. I can make up reasonable stats for creatures if you don't mind. Those great pdfs someone sent me are lost with my old phone.

Let me know and I'll post again.

Everything is completely destroyed, burned, and blasted. Items that you would see in a normal dwelling appear to be missing. No life forms can be sensed, but while Lor is looking through the wreckage, he finds a severely damaged C1-10p astromech droid with just a bit of juice.

Look guys, over here, I found something useful. Come and see.

State your actions and I will further describe scene with clues based upon good perception rolls.

Zoo Lom chuckles uncontrollably for a moment at Bolts questions, but does not explain the situation.

The speeder races closer to the farm and as it begins the final approach, it becomes increasingly clear that there was some kind of attack on the village as things are strewn upon the ground.

The domes appear as burnt out shells. The evaporators are destroyed and smoldering. A few charred bodies can be seen.

Also, I really don't feel like DMPCING Lor, so if you have any suggestions let me know. Otherwise, who knows what fate awaits him.

I really ran Zoo as a helpful NPC. I might try to keep him around. Especially now, but if group consensus would like to recruit one more, let me know.

I love the idea of Zoo Lom being the master of Bolts, but kind of being the passive one in the relationship. Almost like Bolts allows Zoo to believe that he is in charge.

Bolts can't quite seem to place where he has seen that tattoo before. Being in and out of service so many times, he is left wondering.

Zoo Lom asks, "Well, what do we do now?We haven't even made it to the moisture farm yet? "

Khartelosch succeeds in pushing one disciple into the pit again, but is attacked for doing so by the one next to him.

Slice: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Khartelosch is sliced severely across the chest as blood pours from him.

The two disciples hesitate to rush Ibrah after they witness the prowess of his glaive-handling.

Verrin is engaged with same disciple, hoping to finish him off and help Khartelosch and Ibrah clear the room.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Verrin finishes off his bloody goes and looks to help Khartelosch as soon as he can get to him.

Nyla:
You see a tattoo on the fore arm of one of the dead. It looks like this. tattoo

Nyla:
When Nyla reaches the top of the embankment, she notices that the dead are disguised as sand people.

Among the other items found were a blaster carbine, a blaster rifle,a slug thrower rifle, and two vibro daggers.

Perception checks for Joran and Nyla please.

Among the bodies of the raiders, Joran finds two grenades, a credit chip, and two medpacs.

Joran:
The figure appears to be human wearing some very scuffed and dirty Mandolorian armor. His Tusken Raider disguise fell to the ground upon lift off.

Bolts and Nyla both find their targets as the screeching of the raider is heard along with a human scream of pain. Shooting stops and just before Joran reaches the gun nest, someone or something blasts out of there in a jet pack and behind the opposite side of the cliff.

I'm still here. My work ends Friday. I have been swamped there. Notified my other game about hiatus. I will post in play on Saturday again. Apologies.

The speeder shakes a bit, but does not budge. The laser blasts continue to rain down upon the group.

I will be out of reach until Sunday. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Nyla:
Your crit incapacitated one of your attackers.

Joran:
You are now about 30 yards away from a crop of red rocks providing cover from the raiders.

A loud squeal is heard as another of the Tuskans fall down the rocks and Joran darts up the hillside amidst a barrage of cover from the patchwork droid.

Was waiting on Lor. We may have lost him. Will post tonight.

Waiting on Nyla, Lor and Bolts.

Recruitment closes in three days.

Are we continuing? Interest check.

Anyone available to help Joran?

Zoo Lom nods to the others to auto-fire on the position to cover Jordan.

Looking for players for a Post-Apocalyptic homebrew.

Another barrage of auto-fire reigns down on the working speeder's engines.

The rocks are way too large to be moved by Joran with his current level of skill.

The party hears a screech as Bolts finds his mark earning new respect from Zoo Lom at least.

You could just make a character and play. It's easy. I can walk you through it.

It is free on an app called scribed.

Lor draws his weapon and takes cover behind the speeders. All seems quiet for a few seconds and then a barrage of auto-fire focused on the engine of the Mad Zabrak's loaner results in a large plume of black smoke disabling it. The party has a better idea of the location of the shooters.q

Gah, if only I knew the Star Wars Saga rules...

They are pretty simple. Very similar to pathfinder but Reflex instead of AC and Damage threshold gives you penalties based upon how much damage you have sustained. My goal was to simplify some areas of the system, hence the combined precise shot and point blank shot into crack shot feat.

You will be able to create your own weapons and feats within reason.

Nice!

Dot.

The very top is over 100 feet.

Waiting on Lor and Bolts. Again, sorry for the lengthy absence. I am still swamped at work.

TheFinalPerdition Looking for four motivated players to play a homebrew Post-Apocalyptic game. d20 game called The Final Perdition. Think Road Warrior and the Road combined.
Look for The Final Perdition in recruitment thread.

Also, this thread is a great idea! Thank you.

Nyla senses that Joran is correct. The shots are coming from the rocks to the East.

Joran senses that the shots are coming from an outcropping of red rocks high above the canyon to the west (left).

weird. Order is Lor, Zoo, Nyla, Joran, Bolts. You do not have to post in order, I will recap. Assailants will follow Bolts.

initiative rolls:

Lor: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Zoo: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

Nyla: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Joran: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Bolts: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Zoo Lom gets out of the speeder to check the damage going on and on in Sullustan, waving his hands wildly while cursing his new droid friend. As he goes to check the problem, a blaster shot comes in at him.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Missing Zoo and adding some more "character" to his speeder.

Two shots follow, one at Nyla and the other at Lor.

Attack on Nyla: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

Attack on Lor: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Nyla damage: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5) = 10

Lor manages to dodge his attack, but Nyla is not so lucky as the shot rips into her right tricep causing immense pain.

is everyone okay with me rolling initiative?

Here

Swamped at work. May not be able to post until Monday. Apologies.

Let me know if you all decide to stop the speeder.

Lor ignites the low roar of the speeder's engines and checks the coordinates programmed intothe tracking system. As Nyla sits down, the speeder launches north towards the edge of town and into the mouth of the hot desert sand. Just past the town's edge is an outcropping of rocks to the left. Lor finds shade in their tall peaks and banks left to launch the speeder into the right direction, west. In about 50 km, they should arrive at their destination.

All of a sudden, another speeder surges past them. They recognize the Sullustan from the Oasis, but they can't seem to place his passenger. Not even a kilometer has passed in this strange race when sparks begin to fly from the Sullustan's speeder, followed by a loud pop and a thick black stream of smoke as the speeder begins to decrease in speed, grinding to a halt.

Osslo bids the party luck.

"Good luck friends. Be sure to return and let me know how it went. Checking up on a bunch of farmers doesn't seem like an important job, but none of the other groups have returned. Good luck."

With that he walks back behind the curtain.

Joran detects nothing.
