okay, so question. Since those clockwork people were kept alive, is there anyway you want this to affect the story?

The Voice from the Depths |

Not particularly, I feel the place should remain just as a dungeon for the heroes to explore, and maybe RP a bit when the reach the final floor. If the players decide to go all the way down then I would like to be the one handling the final area of the dungeon crawl, but I would be fine if someone else took that part if they wanted to.

DoubleGold |

oh, I was under the impression that the characters traveled back to town to get the gold from the mayor. Is everyone still at the dungeon then?

The Voice from the Depths |

No they made it back to town. The place is just remaining as an unexplored area that they can come back to at any time to dungeon crawl if the GM feels they want the players to have more EXP, loot, or they just want to have a good old fashion dungeon crawl.

DoubleGold |

okay, when it is your turn to DM the party will be left at the lake. You can take them from there, or you can kind of lead them back to town, or you can leave it up to the party to decide. I do have it planned that there are goblins level 8 or higher hidden carefully in some cabins, but I'm not going to say where I planned on hiding them to prevent myself from metagaming, leaving it up to you how and where they hide, including secret passages and whatnot. Or you can just say they are not there if you want.

DoubleGold |

maybe I should start doing 14 days a piece after this, 8 days goes kind of fast to actually plan something. Also I did 8 days so everyone would DM once per month and a few days left over in case someone went over. But now only 2 DMs.

DoubleGold |

yeah 14 days there. Unless you absolutely want less, it's fine with me, I'm just trying to mix up a good storyline, interesting surprises and some tough fights and well as have many ideas which comes with the benefit of having more than 1 DM. Though if you'd rather me DM longer for now, I'm okay with that too.

DoubleGold |

Either way works for me. Do you want to continue on dming for this part, or no?
Nah, it would be interesting to see how things take a turn and it would be interesting to see where you try to hide the goblins. I'll be trying to see if I can outsmart you looking for hiding places of goblins. As for the Artifact I mentioned, that is under the lake, you have to wait until the ice thaws, which is a couple of game days. Characters will find this out one way or another, they don't have to roleplay hard to find this info out. Whether there be a sign on the wall, or a note in a goblins pocket or how they find this out is up to you. I don't know what the artifact is yet though.

Also, if the cabins are bigger on the inside than the outside, it would have to be through the use of magic, the one on the right can't be larger than 10 feet by 30 feet, unless they are magical cabins, which means they can be as big as you want on the inside.

Just to talk about Schwartz question in the discussion tab. I am fine with allowing swashbuckler levels to count as fighter levels for the purposes of feat, but Find the Mark, and Improved Find the Mark should be given up in return. Those two class abilities let someone at level 16 threaten a critical on an 11-20 or 50% of the time.

DoubleGold |

cool, I was just looking at the class myself, I just read the class as is.
On another note, I'm going to have up my gold giving on DM, it would seem your character would not have as much gold as the rest of us, because I gave out less than usual.

The Voice from the Depths |

That's perfectly fine there will be sometimes where you give out more gold and there will be some times where I give out more gold it will roughly balance out in the end.
