@Jessie- I'm not going to customize races at all... You may apply as a centaur if you want but you'll live or die by the published race.
also, Azrael, I edited my last post after you looked at it (I think).
I'll take the centaur off the table, then, as their stat bonuses are ridiculously OP as written in the Paizo material.
Shi'Vatha
@Mdt/Azrael- sorry, no drawbacks. I edited my previous post to reflect that.
@Azrael- your divine source will work wherever you go (I mean, not in an anti-magic field... or if you're unfortunate enough to wander somewhere where all gods are blocked or some such).
No problem, remove the drawback and sacred touch.

@Ealasaid- your crunch looks mostly finished, but you're missing spells (and I'm not sure where your DR is coming from, steelbloods trade away DR). I would like to see more about her outlook (how she sees the world... is it naturally a good place, or is it harsh; can it be made better, is that a worthwhile endeavor). Also, remember I'm not reading your background at all so all I know about your character and your writing style/ability (which is an important concern for me) is what I see in your personality/outlook/appearance.
Shi'Vatha
Shi was originally a Watcher in the Heavens, guarding one of the great Celestial Abodes. He found it intensely boring, but being duty bound, he did his job for ages upon ages. One of the gods was seeking a companion for a Paladin, and asked him to go to the mortal realm. He had to give up a lot of power (and knowledge) to do so, but this was a duty as well, and something he wanted to do, see the mortal realm, so he did so.
His Paladin betrayed him eventually, and the two were sundered. Shi is still considered a member of his church's clergy, even though he's not a cleric. He does have a serious grudge against Paladins though.
He is, when not dealing with Paladins, a rather easy to get along with creature. He doesn't need to eat or sleep, but he enjoys the taste of especially spicy things (his favorite 'snack' is raw horseradish or wasabi root). He has a well developed sense of humor, and generally enjoys joking around with his allies whenever possible.
This isn't to say he's reckless with others safety, just that there's no reason one has to be a stick in the mud while being lawful good.

You are right about the DR, I had not noticed the archetype replaced it. I will post again when I have added more about her.

@WreckTall- you can just use the mechanics and rework the fluff if you like but whatever god or philosophy you follow you will begin the game with enough knowledge/memory of to serve as a faithful cleric/warpriest/paladin/whatever.
@Jereru- don't kill yourself, you've got almost 2 full weeks still before recruitment closes.
@Shi- your's is going to take longer than most to review, so you may have to wait a while (sorry)

@Mingledash- the third point under the character creation heading says 'average wealth by level' (23,500g IIRC)
I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is a busy so I most likely won't be updating as frequently, but I'll try to answer any questions asked tonight in the morning and I should be able to answer the day's questions tomorrow night at the latest. Requests for review take longer so that will have to wait.

*facepalm*
I did it again on the WBL. For some reason I have it stuck in my head 'Level 5' so I bought equipment for a level 5. I'll go spend 7K more equipment and drop a list for you GM. Sorry I keep messing up the builds.
EDIT : And done, extra cash is spent on a Helm of Comprehend Languages and a Handy Haversack.

I'm not too familiar with the Occult classes, but I was just browsing them looking for inspiration and stumbled upon the Occultist.
I think it would work really well in this setting as someone who is a collector of items of historical significance--someone who wants to preserve knowledge and travel to exotic locales. Anyway, that's the basic outline of what I'm working on now.

Actually, yes! That'd be hell of a hook for getting the group together. It worked for that game, after all. So why not borrow it for this one? Bunch of amnesiacs with the only common element being a weird, and very obviously fresh, tattoo.
Maybe spice it up by borrowing from Eberron's dragonmarks as well.

I actually just ran Azure Bonds in 5e. Basically the tattoos not only force you to work together, but get you to go on a grand tour of the Realms so they can introduce all the antagonist groups and the various countries and cities around the Moonsea. Very clever. :)
I'd be down for something like that.

@jesse and sam (and Azrael)- tattoos shouldn't be necessary; I think/hope that the introductory adventure should help bring the party together. If two people want to make a joint application I would be ok with something like matching tattoos to signal some connection but otherwise I would rather avoid it.

@Oyzar- paying the 150% copying cost should be fine. (Unless your guy is a giant a-hole, then you'd have to pay scroll+scribing)
Igmutanka Hanhepi
I think Igmutanka Hanhepi is ready. Of course, there could be things that come to my mind in the future (mostly fluff wise), so I'll add them on the fly, but this is mostly it. A Rogue/Magus re-flavoured into a spirit warrior (I even re-flavoured some of the feats and features into something more "totemic", I hope you don't mind).
Yokaiboy
As I am Planning to make a Vigilant, how long would we generaly stay in the same place(especially settelments) or in other words would the renown social talents be generaly usefull or not?
My familiar would also not remember his backstory? what would he know(i.e. the terms of his familiar contract)?
Gavmania
That does lead to one question (Which Olaf the Holy touched on with his technology idea); gunslingers rely on specialist equipment being available. Is that going to be a problem between adventures, or will we be able to get hold of necessary technologies (e.g. guns, ammunition, or energy cells depending on build) that we can take with us?

That may not be such a problem Gavmania, GM willing
After bouncing around some ideas,
I really liked the idea of a magic/Tech based PC,
A kind of technomancer come craft'er come explorer.
Also she is a manufactured race, an Android and a technologist. [by means of the feat]
Why, well... after all this is a sand box with us having NO background, my hope is it will be OK'ed and I can play her.
I am working on her build now PC Ynja Eva Ragnavold using only Paizo published content. Which is a lot of fun to work out.
Class: wise I like Iron Priest in part as it gives some of what I want her to be, I am looking for the right combo so I'm going to be working on her for some time. So may change her a lot if I find a better class/skill set to meet my core idea.
Looks: Image here She has a synthetic look, I know Androids can look human but I want her to be a little 'other' very much the uncanny Valley kind of thing.
Personality: My thinking is she has memory's but they like her are synthetic, and she knows it. She knows she was made etc, but has a complex personality. She is a thinker and is wise, so will give good counsel and be caring and understanding. I like that juxtaposition of Caring Mechanical Man.
Combat: She will use a Revolver as her prime weapon, A dagger and then Techno/magic, She will not be a true gun slinger. I am going to use Amateur Gunslinger as I think fits the bill much better,
Power level: wise, working on that, I also think High Tech gear is out, she will have simple magic/tech as its more reliable.
Roll: I really don't want her to fall into the typical Slots that gamers here like to place pcs in, you know, support, healer, front line, skills Monkey, that kind of of thing, I think you can fall into the trap with that kind of thinking of building a 'party' by filling lots/roles with PCs, My feeling is, I think its a kind of soft meta-gaming that bends a PC away from your idea. Its also getting a bit tired for me, I want her to be more herself and be who she is with out thinking about what kind of roll she will fill.
================
Now this could all be Nex'ed by the GM who may say Tech is out, but I hope not. Would be fun to have a mix up of things in the sand box.
Note I am trying to make her with only Published Paizo stuff only with no 3ed party elements as asked for by the GM

nate lange RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32
@yokai- how long you stay in a given settlement will be at least partly in the party's control... I'm not very familiar with the renown rules but I assume they would be a lot less useful in a game like this than a more stationary one. Your familiar will not have any memories either; most familiars don't have any kind of contract- if you have one that does we can figure that out.
@Gavmania- tech level will vary based on where you go... The higher the tech level you require the harder it will be to find what you need. Finding gunpowder (or its components) and a metal ball to power a primitive firearm won't be too difficult most of the time. Finding bullets for an advanced firearm will be tricky (maybe even requiring trying to find jeweler a to cast casings you can load yourself). Finding batteries/energy cells will be a big challenge.
@Vagabond- I guess I kind of left myself open for that... No, I will not be using the race builder either. Published races only. Regarding necromancers- I'm open to looking it. If you're planning on summoning undead hordes it's probably not going to fly (that would seriously limit your options for where the group could go/function).
@panic- see my comment to gavmania regarding tech availability. Also, please see the PM I sent you.

See profile for crunch
Libi is a free spirit. She is passionate about everything she does. Her fiery personality is equally quick to anger and quick to laugh. She prizes freedom above all things. She rebels openly against any type of oppression, Slavery is anathema to her sense of justice. She even sees a marriage as too restrictive and against natural desires.
She believes that people should follow their passions. The only real life to her, is living life of fulfilled desires. (as long as those desires don't impede others freedoms)
She is a pansexual being. She is equally likely to take a lover who is male, female or other. While not monogamous, she is fiercely loyal to those that she considers friends. However, betrayal is dealt with rage and nightmarish retribution.
Led by her emotions and need for stimulation, she is a fun and exciting companion. However, her constant need for excitement can weigh heavily on those with more reserved personalities
Libi's face is pretty but slightly off putting due to her angular otherworldly features. Thanks to her bloodline, she has vestiges of two faces on either side of her face, which are covered by wild long blond hair.
Her body is athletic, but voluptuous. She moves with the grace and litheness of a cat on the prowl. Her soft skin is a goldish brown, and covered in Henna tattoos.
Please let me know if I missed anything on this submission.
Johan Reinhart
Mbauers here--I have everything completed. In addition, I added some vignettes about the four "implements" that Johan has and what their significance is. I know you want no backgrounds, but I find it interesting that Johan remembers the significance of his items but nothing else of his past life. Let me know if that's too "backgroundy". Also, minor crunch thing: do you mind if we do wands with less than 50 charges? I just bought a 10 charge wand of CLW.
I'm including all of my non-crunch here in case anyone would like to read it. Thanks for considering me!
Johan is a strong combination of traits he inherited from his elven father and his human mother. As a child he was impacted greatly by his father’s appreciation of history and his drive to preserve knowledge despite having already lived for centuries. He also was struck by his mother’s resilience, perseverance, and unwavering love towards her family.
As a result, Johan is perceptive, intelligent, and deeply sympathetic to the struggles of other people. He strives to find items of historical and magical significance with a goal of enlightening the uneducated and helping the unfortunate. If an artifact would prove dangerous in the wrong hands, he has no problem doing what he can, even outside legal methods, to prevent wanton destruction. Of particular interest to Johan are items belonging to people who, at crucial times in history, displayed remarkable bravery.
Though he cares for others and seeks lasting bonds of friendship, Johan finds it difficult to talk about his emotions. This is partially due to his pragmatic nature, but it is more a result of something that even he doesn’t understand. Johan can unlock power from items with strong psychic bonds to a past bearer, but in so doing he invites a portion of that person’s memories and emotions into his psyche. Though he is passionate about the items that he bears, the fractured nature of his personality from the items’ influence makes it difficult for him to articulate on matters of the heart.
27 years old, 6’0”, 180 lbs., Violet Eyes, Black Hair
Lithe and strong, Johan walks with long strides and a quick pace. His clothing, arms, and armor is an amalgamation of different styles, borrowing from the variety of cultures he’s encountered in his travels. Sparse facial hair on his chin and cheeks and an unkempt mop of black hair protruding from his hat display his indifference for personal grooming, at least for aesthetic reasons.
His striking purple eyes and clearly Elven ears (more prominent than most half-elves he knows) draw comments of interest or praise, which he swiftly, but courteously, dismisses. To Johan, function is much more important than form.
I’m not surprised you’ve never heard of Zaire, the explorer says, looking at the compass a bit before putting it back in his pocket. He spurs his horse on a bit to catch up to the sentries before continuing.
His expedition was out of food and low on water, and deadly predators were closing in on their position. He gave his compass to his companions, saying it was foretold that whosoever possessed it could always find their way home. ‘I know this jungle,’ he told them. ‘I’ll find my way home without it, and I’ll drive back the beasts first to give you the time you need.’ Return he did, but the remaining members of his party, along with the compass, were lost to the unspeakable dangers of the jungle.
The highwaymen draw their weapons and advance upon the half-elf, slowly fanning out to encircle him. Give us your gold and you can keep your life, the ugliest of the bunch says with a rotten-toothed grin. He and his thugs pause for half a heartbeat, though, when the lone warrior draws his dark metal blade.
Recognize this? It belonged to one Ser Godfrey, in days past. It’s called the “Untested” because, though many challengers both humanoid and monstrous sought to defeat him in combat and claim his weapon for themselves, he never had to resort to battle.
The half-elf tests the balance of his blade a few times as the would-be robbers continue their advance, slower now and with less confidence.
Yes, legend has it that his voice was more beautiful than the nightingale—any who heard him would weep from joy, repent their sins, and strive to live righteously . Sadly, I’ve no talent for song, so It’s even more important for you to change your ways like those swayed by the good Ser Godfrey’s verse. If you don’t, I’ll be forced to send you to your final rest.
Bah! Every time! Can’t I win one bloody game! the bearded man slams his fist animatedly on the table, sending the game pieces flying. His kohl-rimmed eyes narrow in mock indignation before he smiles, clapping the half-elf on the back. He points at the half-elf’s headband and rubs his chin pensively: Ever since you’ve worn that woman’s headband you’ve doubled your skill in senet. I am thinking this is not a coincidence—tell me, Johan, what’s your secret?
You’ve a good eye, friend. It once belonged to a woman so smart, she could discern what events would occur before they occurred! She foresaw an army of demons descending upon her city, laying waste to everything in their path. Her insight also provided her with the means to destroy them! You see, the demons knew of her abilities and wanted to use them for fell purposes. The woman offered her soul, intellect, even her name up to her gods to spare her people. In their wisdom they complied, but in so doing even the memory of her was wiped from the minds of those who had long sought her counsel. She wandered the streets, babbling and insane, begging for scraps while those she saved spurned her and cursed her very existence. Sometimes it is better to be ignorant, no?
Very well, Johan! If that’s the price of your skill in senet, you’re welcome to it. Here’s to your Nameless Sage! The men raise their glasses and drink solemnly.
Markus! Johan yells as the cave ceiling collapses. The two men dive to avoid the cave-in but Markus’ legs are caught in the collapse, shattering bone and shredding tissue.
The slight man’s breathing is labored as he reaches into his vest and produces a ruby the size of a child’s closed fist. Here—it’ll be some time before the drake returns, and there’s yet another tunnel to the exit. Take this to market, sell it, and give my half to my family. Make sure they know it was me who talked you into this job, I don’t want ‘em holding any grudges.
Johan takes the gem and shakes his head, trying to dig the rubble out.
Markus coughs up blood, and speaks again: No sense in both of us dying, I’m not gonna tell you again. But before you go, I gotta say, of all the things we’ve seen, mystical and valuable, I’ve never seen you without that cheap ring of yours. I know it means something to you, ‘s one of those objects you can draw power from, but you never speak of it. Sate a dead man’s curiosity--whose was it?
Johan crouches, taking the man’s hand and nods slowly. It belonged to a unique woman—the bravest the world’s ever seen. Her husband hadn’t returned from some trip for over a year and they’d fallen on hard times, and she had many mouths to feed at home. She spent her time working what jobs she could and scrounging whatever food she could. She’d been beautiful, and strong, but she wouldn’t eat a morsel of food that could’ve gone to her kids. She wasted away slowly, from both toil and lack of food, but she didn’t want her kids to worry. She told ‘em the ring filled her belly with all manner of delicacies and she was too full to eat with them. ‘It only works on adults, I’m afraid, so you can have it when I’m older’. She passed not two days before the children’s father returned, but she’d seen them through their hardships.
Gives me hope for my family, grim as that story was. Tell me—what was her name? Markus’ question is barely audible, so Johan moves closer.
To me, it was always ‘Naneth’—it’s Elven for ‘Mother’ Johan squeezes his friend’s hand as his breath fails, closes Markus’ eyes, then takes off at a run for the exit.
