I'm alive! Thanks for all thebkind thoughts. My in-laws lost power but my mom's place was pretty much fine. Same with the rest of my family and friends. Irma actually downgraded to a cat 1 and moved a bit east so we never got the eye of the storm like origionallu thought. My work is even fine despite being in a major flood zone. I'll try to get a post in tonight if possible or tomorrow as i'm still getting my life back in order.

I nabbed the Cloak of Resistance right after the ettercap fight, but AFAIK that ring is still up for grabs!

Would any of our archers like that masterwork shortbow? I'm okay holding off on it until I can afford composite.

MWK Shortbow sounds like a good Bree weapon, since Lily uses a longbow. Unless you're planning to use your rapier a lot in the caverns, Bree.

If so, it might be better off in Lily's hands - slightly less damage, but that additional +1 to hit could be huge, especially since you've already got PBS and Precise shot.

Caladra: Do you want to carry that MWK Cold Iron Scimitar? In the event that we run into a fey creature sometime, it'd be good for it to be carried by someone who can use it AND deal some serious damage with it.

I'm grabbing a couple of the potions so that my squishy wizardly-ness can get out of tight spots in a hurry if I need to (elixir of tumbling, potion of invisibility). I'm hoping that I won't have to use either, but let me know if you want to get your hands on one and I'm happy to hand them over!

Boudra: At one point a long time ago I grabbed the MWK crossbow bolts. I'm going to hand most of them back over to you, and just keep one for me in my Crossbow on my back in case I happen to need it (but that means that spells have run out, and that could be a serious problem!). Unless it doesn't stack (I'm forgetting) in which case I'll keep a hand on them.

Sure, I'll take it too. I just did an update to Caladra as I had forgotten that I had taken a mwk breastplate and never updated her. So my stats in my bar are good now. I'll add that scimitar now though too.

So now i'm having phone problems (it's where I do most of my posting from) so I likely won't be posting much over the weekend. I think I may have burned it. Gotta find my wireless charger pad and see if that'll work with it.

hmm, is there an appropriate length of time where you have to assume something happened and look for a new GM? I'm fine to hang on. I'm more concerned about what might have happened. But I'd also like this group and game to continue and don't have any experience with loosing a GM.

In my experience, most games just wither away if the GM vanishes, but every once in a while you can land a replacement. My RotRL game has had three GMs before the end of the first fight!

I second the notion of finding a replacement soonish.

yeah, if we decide to find a new gm, the sooner the better before some of us start to drift off too.

I could make the invite, and think I have a good way to sweeten the deal: during the last PDF sale I picked up all of Hell's Rebels, and have been slowly getting ready to run it (hopefully ready to start a little later this month). Y'all are welcome to reserve a seat, but I might pitch that to a potential GM to offset what they'd be taking on. Also, keeps us connected on multiple games = makes it a teeny harder to ghost.

On the road a bunch this weekend, so I won't be able to do this until Monday. That ok with y'all?

It would take some adjustment, but I think I'd just throw twice as many opponents at you. :)

Mostly, it's also a question of what kind of game y'all want to play. If you're ok with a 7 player party, then cool - let's roll. I had that many for part of the Kingmaker AP in real life until folks moved or dropped out, so it's tricky but manageable. In fact, the more I've read of this one, the more I figure that having a slightly larger party is necessary to succeed. It's a beast!

I ended up being on the road today with my family, so I'm not able to send out the invite tonight, but as I thought about it, I'll try to get it out on Thursday - that'll be one month since our GM's last post, and I like to give him that benefit, just in case.

Either way, I'll get another post up tomorrow so that the conversation about Hell's Rebels gets its own thread, and we can talk about what we're all most interested in for that AP. I'll post a link then. Have a good night all!

I'm really enjoying the Starfinder game you're running, Cyr, but alas I just this past weekend started a face-to-face game of Hell's Rebels as a player, so I'll have to pass on that one.
