I get a sour look and no response for asking for the price of a room?
Did I insult you by assuming you would take money for the room?
;) Just kidding. But seriously, who was that look aimed at?

I'm thinking a combination of you for foisting luggage on the bouncer and the bouncer for letting said luggage be foisted upon him.
Remember Davi was using Aebin as a chair at the moment.

I'll go back and edit in the room price bit once our fearless leader tells me what it is lol. I thought about it when I posted, put the question here and then promptly forgot to put a note about that in my IC post. Go me! There was supposed to be a line to the effect of 'she tells you the room price and collects the fee', my bad.
I'll never tell about the sour look! (Though I guess you could roll a sense motive and I'd have to put something) But she wasn't looking at you Ana. Again, something I should have conveyed better. I blame it on trying to get a quick post in between the large amounts of homework I have due tonight.

Sanriel. Before Jezalane responds can you clarify something for me Since I had a pretty good Knowledge religion roll (High enough to Identify your species, I looked it up. I googled your species and and found a description. In the description it said, "they prevented the wholesale invasion and corruption of their land from demonic influence, but only at a terrible cost. They took the corruption into themselves."
I read this that the corruption they took into themselves was demonic influence and this led to their undead nature. Am I miss reading this?
I'm asking for my edification. Jezalane will is the soul of honesty and will go and address you. Admittedly she didn't count on being overheard but as far as she knows her description was honest and accurate.
The reason for Jezalanes reaction is twofold; In Jezalane's heritage there is a very powerful demonic taint. Despite her not being evil, she detects as being minorly evil. Given your incredible powers of observation you might detect some or all of this. The second is that her history has given her a serious dislike and very healthy fear of undead and necromancy.

First of all player to player.
Siabrae are monsters from the Worldwound far as I can tell they don't have much on the hows and whys of the ritual they participated in to become that way. Mostly because crunch wise Siabrae have intelligence but they are not supposed to give the players any reason to pause in murdering them. (well outside of the whole'can't be kileld on blighted ground' thing.) They seem to serve the standard 'Corrupted savior' motif to present the players a chance to see how far the corruption of the abyss can go.
fluff wise that template and a one sentence bar in the wiki ( Here) is basically the whole cloth of the concept far as I can tell. So I am taking some liberties with their creation until I find more information but it is entirely possible that your assertion is in fact correct.
Pure theory I would assert that Cyth'vog or whatever the demon prince of slime and corruption in pathfinder is called would have my bet for being the progenitor of the Siabrae. But I'm not holding my breath on further information showing up, Siabrae are heavily tied to the world wound so unless they choose to return there at some point I an't see it happening.
Character to character
Much of the mentality I have built for the character of Sanriel is maintained around the Mental dissonance that he is a good man doing greater goods with lesser evils. He traffics with corrupted creatures to ensure the destruction of greater threats. So the idea that he could have ever been damned from the start and infected by demonic taint to begin with would imply that he has been serving as a hand for his greatest enemy.
True or not that sort of revelation being given enough proof would sever Sanriels faith in his cause and render his motive force as a character stilled.

This thread seems to update in bursts as people gain or lose interest. I wouldn't worry about taking some time to respond.

I'm asking for Hal as matter of continuity but am well aware his last update indicated he had doubts of his continuing. Likewise, writings Jezalane's performance will be very different if she is on her own then if she still backing up Hal so I wanted to give him an opportunity to chime in.

Not sure if this game is still ongoing, but just to let you know: I have to quit playing PBP for a while. Lets just say my character is taking a loooong nap in her room until the time I maybe have time for this again, okay?
