Another telekinetic projecticle at the same skeleton
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
1d6 ⇒ 5

GM Skyreaver |

Looks like my post got eaten, so I'll get it reposted now:
Initiative order:
Vixen
Agni
Druscillia
Me
Emma
Vixen manages to drop the Skeleton facing her before it can bring it's claws to bear, but unfortunately Sable is unable to follow in her mentor's footsteps, as it appears that, while she managed to hit one, the arrow was unable to damage the four-armed skeletal creature.
Agni attacks the one facing her, but is unable to get past it's natural toughness. Druscillia will attack the one facing her
Fighting Defensively: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 1
but is unable to connect. The creatures facing Agni and Druscillia retaliate:
Agni: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 91d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 41d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 121d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Damage Rolls: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 21d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 121d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 181d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 61d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Damage Rolls: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 21d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Neither of the creatures manages to connect, and then Emma finishes the one facing Druscillia.
In the distance more creatures shuffle closer, ending their movement at the edge of the fight and revealing themselves to be more of the same strange creature you are currently fighting.
There is one remaining on Agni, and three more will move into combat on my next turn. Players are up!

Smiling as she dodges the foes attacks, the woman remarks. "Dance like a butterfly, and sting like a...bee?" Quickly trying a one-two punch on the remaining creature, hoping to drop it before more arrive. The expression on her face spells out disappointment.
'You can do better. Remember, breath...visualize it...wax on, wax off...'
Pummeling Style Attacks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage?: 1d6 + 3 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (3) + 3 = 15
ACK! Still just barely hitting double digits on my attack
Whenever you use a full-attack action or flurry of blows to make multiple attacks against a single opponent with unarmed strikes, total the damage from all hits before applying damage reduction. This ability works only with unarmed strikes, no matter what other abilities you might possess.
In cace I actually hit with a full attack...at some point

Sable will fire at the one most likely to engage Vixen before it is in melee (what?! A shot without cover? unheard of!).
Bow 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Bow 1 Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Bow 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Bow 2 Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Vixen will saunter back to Sable and Emma and ready a slam if someone approaches.
Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Slam Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

She concentrates and picks up a piece of equipment and launches it, with the power of her mind, at the lead skeleton

Initiative order:
Sable
Agni
Druscillia
Vixen
Me
Emma
Vixen's readied action fails to land a hit, and both of Sable's arrows go wide. Agni continues to struggle with fighting these beings and fails to land either hit as well.
Fight Defensively for Druscillia with Flank: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Druscillia moves over and tries to help with the remaining creature before the next wave is on the group, but can't seem to land a hit.
The creature on Agni will unleash all four claws:
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
The creature only lands a single attack, however.
Damage Roll: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Meanwhile, the new creatures move up on Vixen, Druscillia and Sable.
Vixen: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Sable: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Both Vixen and Druscillia are missed, but Sable is struck.
Damage Roll: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Damage Report:
Agni -3
Sable -2
In the distance you can all hear the sound of another one of these creatures making it's way towards the melee.
Players are up!

BAM: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
BAM Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Sable will perform circus handstand back flip while kicking at the one attacking her. Just a standard attack and five foot step back trying to open a flank for Vixen if the creature follows, but heroines have style!
Sweep: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Sweep Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

"Ow! That wasn't nice!" exclaims the injured woman. Turning to the one that hit her, she tries to return the favor. With a glorious flurry of punches, all pulled short of their target, her face goes scarlet. "And...uh...let that be a warning for you! Back off, please?"
Pummeling Full Attacks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

GM Skyreaver |

I haven't heard from Druscillia's player, so that's not a good sign. Going to keep botting her for now.
Initiative order:
Sable
Agni
Druscillia
Vixen
Me
Emma
Flustered by the unblinking enemy in front of her, Sable is unable to land a blow on it. Agni also has trouble landing a blow.
Vixen, however, demolishes the one on her with a series of unconventional unarmed attacks.
Druscillia switchs to her flail and attacks the one on her, forgoing her focus on defense to try and land a hit.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage Roll: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Druscillia manages to land a blow, and the creature collapses into dust.
Just in time, too, as the new creature moves up and engages her.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Damage Roll: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
The one on Sable steps up to continue the assault, and the one on Agni does the same.

Agni Confirmation Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 Does not confirm.
Agni Damage Roll: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
After the flurry of claws, only one manages to land a blow from all the attacks arrayed against the party.
Finally, Emma is unable to land an attack.
Damage Report:
Agni -7
Sable -2

Reeling back from the blow, blood trickling down her mouth, she wipes it away. "Uh, Ow! Jerk!" Quickly, she sends a pair of jabs at the things chin.

1d6 ⇒ 4
Initiative order:
Sable
Agni
Druscillia
Vixen
Me
Emma
Luck swings the parties way this round, as Sable fires a pair of arrows and one manages to hit and damage the one on Agni. It's just enough, however, to allow Agni to finish the one on her. Druscillia misses her target, but Vixen drops hers, in this case the one on her trusty sidekick Sable.
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Druscillia: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
The monstrosity swings on Druscillia great deal but fails to land a hit, and Emma fails to mind control a rock into the remaining foe as well.
Damage Report:
Agni -7
Sable -2
Players are up!

Sable will cast guidance on Vixen.
Vixen, clearly enjoying skeleton wackamole, skips lightly over to the one on Dru and attempts to boff its head off.
Boff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Boff damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

"Got one!" she beams, as she takes a cautious step to the next one. "We can do this guys!"
"Once you get the hang of it, it's just 1...2....3...." With a quick jab and well placed kick, she tries to fall another undead.

![]() |

I'm good with B8
Poking a gash in her arm, Agni winced. "I could use a bandaging. I suppose I should practice not getting hit."
Glancing towards Vixen, she adds "Let me know if you find anything good there."

GM Skyreaver |

The caves themselves still feature old remnants of crude palates, tools, and weapons left behind by a primitive hunter-gatherer society, and here and there, cave paintings on the walls depict four-armed humanoids in various acts of hunting strange desert creatures.
Pressing through both of the cave-like tunnels, you eventually find yourselves:
Several strange shell fragments and bits of bone lie scattered across the floor of this large chamber. Ancient cave paintings of four-armed humanoids and strange animals decorate the walls, but to the south, a particularly unusual depiction that looks like an oblong shape burning in the sky above several kneeling four-armed figures dominates the prehistoric decor.
Also, as you walk down this pathway, you notice that the ground is particularly...spongy and smells almost of sap.

![]() |

Another sucker thing or the old same one?
Knowing the hide in walls Vixen will go ghosty and peak through the walls and floor in the sappy area to see if there is a hiding beast.

![]() |

This may not be a good thing, the floor may impede our progress

![]() |

Yuck. Another one of the sucker beasts. I guess the props department is super proud of their work this episode. "Let's reuse the sucker things, the costume is expensive!" Sigh. I wonder how that other dude passed by them. Maybe he has light feet.
What do you want to do? Should we feed Dru to this one too?! Vixen chortles at her own joke.

![]() |

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Giggling at Biden's joke, Agni takes in the scene.
"Well, it seems to be sleeping. Could we sneak by maybe? Tie a rope to me and yank if it wakes?"

![]() |

Should we kill it and waste resources or keep going? I would vote to keep going.

![]() |

All joking aside, we're here to rescue that dude, not go "woo" over the special effects budget. We should check out the other passage instead.

![]() |

Looking past the creature and spotting the lack of exit, her eyes drift back to the dormant thing. 'Is that a zipper?'
With but a shake of her head, she smiles. "You're right, of course. It's not bothering us, so why not let sleepy...uh...blobs? lie, eh? Next tunnel sounds good to me."
Adjusting her fancy lantern towards the new passage, she keeps it aimed low to avoid backlighting their translucent scout.
Perception as they continue: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

GM Skyreaver |

Vixen: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
You disappear into the wall and see that it is clearly an illusion on the other side.
This metal room is brightly lit by glowing panels in the ceiling
above. To the left and right, complex machines consisting of
spiral tubes and nozzles twitch and hum.
Vixen also notices that the machinery constitute a trap.

![]() |

Vixen returns gesturing wildly. Now we're onto something! That wall is a holograph! Totally the mad scientist's lair. Totally seems like a trap though. Which one of you knows how to disarm traps?
What's a holograph? Sable inquires.
A fake wall, made of light.
Oh, an illusion then. Sable says brightly, finally understanding something Vixen said.
Whatever you want to call it. It isn't real. That's why the room is lit because the light from the other room just goes through it.
I don't know about traps. I guess I could try to use Mage Hand to turn it off or set it off. Can you tell how it works?

![]() |

"Neat!" replies Agni, staring at the wall.
"Well, I've set off a trap or two with my face...but I'm not exactly skilled at setting them off safely."

![]() |

Sounds like your face is our best bet. Vixen shrugs. Sable, you should keep that wand handy. I'll keep an eye on Agni.

![]() |

With a wicked grin to Sable, she replies. "Looks like I'll be face-timing. Get ready to tell me I'm pretty." :-P
Hmm...I should remember to buy a 10ft pole...

GM Skyreaver |

Unfortunately, Vixen doesn't have the skills necessary to understand how the trap works, beyond noticing that it is a mechanical trap.
Agni Will Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
As Agni and Vixen step into the room, the hoses continue flying about, only this time the situation is worse, as intermittent arcs of electricity begin shooting out of the hoses.
Agni Reflex Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Vixen Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Both women are ready for the attack, however, and dodge out of the way of the worst of the blasts.
2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7 You each take 3 electrical damage.
Anyone who thinks they might have a shot at disabling a trap can go for it. It's mechanical, so you don't need trapfinding.
1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

![]() |

Looking down, she remarks "Hey, who put this redshirt on me?"
Are we standing inside the trap? Or have we passed through it?
