'Well that's not a pretty sight' considers Agni. Taking a moment to evaluate the situation better, she recalls the rock training...

Trying to keep from opening herself up too much, but hoping to keep her companions from harm, Agni carefully gets to her feet. "Sable, I could use some more affirmations here...but thanks. That hurt."

Agni regains her feet thanks to Sable's wand while Vixen swings wildly and then closes the door. Sable is unable to identify this creature, although she is pretty sure it's an undead of some kind.

I missed that you closed the door Vixen, so Agni should be able to stand and add dodge if she wants.

Each Creature within a 10-foot-radius spread must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be deafened for 1 hour. A deafened Creature, in addition to the obvious effects, takes a –4 Penalty on Initiative and has a 20% chance to miscast and lose any spell with a verbal component that it tries to cast.

Agni, worried about Vixen, takes a defensive posture, while Sable heals some of Agni's wounds. The man stirs behind the creature, then picks up his blade and shouts "We are not done yet monster!" Emma, meanwhile, discovers that magic missiles have no effect on this creature. It's, believe it or not, Immune to Magic Missile.

The creature continues it's focus on Agni, but only as a means to get to the softer targets behind her.

Vixen subconsciously digs deep and keeps from returning home. Sable, meanwhile, continues to focus on keeping Agni alive. Agni, for her part, focuses on defense, which makes her miss the undead being. Emma throws a vial of acid, and it goes wide, landing in 1d8 ⇒ 3 the creature's square, where both the creature, Agni, and Vixen take a point of acid damage. For it's part, it continues to focus it's offense on Agni, in an attempt to get past her to the small creature that is healing.

Reeling back a might fist, Agni swings for the troublesome opponent. Just as it seems she might connect, the door slams shut in front of her. "ACK" exclaims the woman as she connects with the solid object. "Little warning next time! Please."

Not my choice to put our backup behind the boss with no hp. Sable is leaving the dungeon if Agni drops no questions asked. She may leave anyway; she is totally outclassed by this adventure.

The tet-a-tet between Agni and the creature continues, as she is unable to strike it.
