It takes both Emma and Agni, as the two strongest members of the group, a couple of minutes to get the door opened, and it is physically exerting. As the doors open, you all can now see what Vixen saw when she walked through the wall:

The northern wall of this otherwise empty metal room is a tangle of what look to have once been strange cages of some sort. Tangled amid the metal ribs of these cages are ribs of a more organic nature—the ancient bones of some sort of alien creature. Smaller mounds of rubble lie against the opposite wall.

Also, Map will be updated shortly.

As the group is searching the room, you all notice that anyone who touches one of the skeletons causes it to crumble to dust. Clearly, these skeletons have been here a long time. Given that there are a couple of piles of dust here, it's clear that someone has looked through this room as well.

Both Emma and Sable notice that there were some items that were missed, however:

A set of odd looking Blacksmith's tongs, a cylindrical device that looks similar to an awl without the blade with a blinking light on it, and a pair of smaller cylinders that don't appear to do anything at all.

Once again it takes concerted effort to get the door to rise, and beyond it each of you see the following:

Yes, Emma, with a knowledge check to identify, but unfortunately only a couple of you have the knowledge skill required. That being said, however:

Vixen/Sable:

You know the following two special attacks it has:

Entrap: the fluid you see is normally seeped into the ground, making it sort of like Quicksand. basically, moving into the area will require a fort save or you will become Entangled, and if you fail again, you become Helpless.

Leeching Tendrils: as a corollary to their entrap ability, you know that anything Entangled by it for at least one round will have bleed 1 for as long as they are entangled by it.

You know it has the following defense (You think there might be more, but you can't remember them if there are):

Resist (Fire)

I know Sable knows this not Vixen, but it is funnier this way

"Oh my gosh! That's a Ghelarn; I saw one on an old StarTrek episode! They have sticky sap goop that sucks your blood and their Phasers barely hurt it, so, you know, probably fire-proof too!"

Sable will try to shoot and step out of the goop as needed.

Bow1 dam: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Bow2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Vixen will exit the goop moving through walls as needed to avoid it. She pulls a rope from her pack and prepares to throw to anyone stuck.

Remember that this is not a weapon! Weapons all fall through my hands, this is a tool!

1d8 ⇒ 7 Agni is Entangled for 7 rounds, and will have bleed 1 for each round she is Entangled.

Sable fires her bow twice while Vixen prepares to throw a rope lasso at anyone who is stuck. She throws her rope at Agni as she sinks into the muck and...

Drag Combat Maneuver (+2 for the rope): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Unfortunately Agni is not really paying attention to Vixen's statements, or more likely doesn't understand them, and so the rope falls near her by not around her as she instinctively attempts to avoid an attack from a tentaclesque thing from behind her. Agni is also preoccupied, and feels her lifeblood slowly seeping into the ground as she prepares a ranged weapon to strike against the creature with cover..

Druscillia attacks the creature with her blade, and lands a solid blow into it's body.

The creature decides to return the favor, slamming a tentacle into Druscillia and one into Agni for good measure.

Finally, Emma targets the creature with a ranged projectile, but her allies and the general nature of combat prove to be a tough deterrant to her attack.
