I am still having an issue with this thread showing up in active campaigns any ideas?

Are you hiding it? When you click on your campaigns, do you see the link for messageboards? Click the campaigns tab. Is this thread one that you've hidden?

Check the SHOW ∅ link and see if you hid them by accident. You can click on the ∅ button next to the thread to reveal it.

You might also see it under the "My Campaigns" link and show them from there.

I have checked both. The only way to get here is check recent posts or search for the forum in the search bar

A flamboyant halfling dressed in a purple tunic and wearing a holy symbol depicting the songbird of Shelyn strolls in through the door. "Another successful mission!" he says to anyone who might be accidentally listening.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

A wisened goblin in a red flowing cloak slams open the door of the tavern. A few patrons groan as they know they're about to hear a bad song and an even worse adventure announcement. Perhaps both at the same time.

"Goblins love games. And Pathfinders love games. Some fool even announced a 'Game Day', although me knows for certain it will be more than one day. Because you big folk are too slow."

"Firsty, we need some of you younger ones to go search for a solution to the Sky Key. We send younger ones because you more expendable."
#7-00 Sky Key Solution, multi-table special, with my table targeting Tier 1–2.

"Secondish, some less green—(human idiom is dumb; green should mean fierce and scary)—Pathfinders go solve problem in Tamran. Actually, go anywhere you like. Just far away from here, please."
#7-07 Trouble in Tamran, officially Tier 1–5, but targeting the higher sub-tier. Players should know content in "Trouble in Tamran" also ties into a special metaplot element from PFS Special #6–98: Serpents Rise. Players who have completed that special event are encouraged to have its Chronicle sheet available.

"So maybes youse go volunteer, huh? That way I don't have to make you." The little goblin tries to look intimidating, but fails miserably.

Then, much to everyone's dismay, he breaks out into song:

"Fighters fight and skulkers scurry,
Wizards cast and clerics worry,
But it no matter, you all get beaten
When big boss blasts and dragons eating!"

He smiles at the end, showing yellow, pointed teeth with more than a few missing. The creature looks around, expecting applause, but finding none walks grandly back out of the lodge as if to a standing ovation.

Sign-ups on my sheet above. As these are for Gameday 5, scenarios begin August 27th.

Although it *is* possible, only a couple of people have privileges to do so, and to my knowledge they have never used that power.

As others have suggested, the most likely answer is that you've 'silenced' this thread accidentally by clicking the '∅' character in the forum list. It might be worth taking a look at this thread from the forum list view to double check.

I can brainstorm other possibilities, but they are increasingly unlikely and mostly involve forum bugs. If you continue to have trouble, the best place to go for help may be the "Website Feedback" forum.

Maps: Absalom Initiation

A man of Taldan origin steps into the lodge. He has several notable features, among which his bold sideburns and drab livery. "Hear ye, hear ye," he starts reading from a paper in a very nasal and droning voice. "I am to announce that there will be a wedding on Lamashan 12th. One of the Blakros daughters will be wed. To a Hellknight, no less... It has been decided by the Decemvirate that several of you should attend the ceremony, to strengthen the relationship with the Blakroses. One invitation has been claimed already, but there are several left. Who is up for a party?" His monotonous voice makes it clear what he feels about parties. He holds up five sealed envelopes, muttering "Pathfinders at a wedding. Who could possibly go wrong...?"

I am running #4-09 The Blakros Matrimony as part of Gameday V, starting on October 12th. The scenario is for levels 3-7, and I'm aiming for high subtier (6-7). Please sign up here if you're interested.

Male Human Bard 3 (HP: 18/18) (AC:17 FF:15 T:12) (Fort: +2 Ref: +6 Will: +4) (Init: +2) (Perc: +6) (Performance 9/12)

The door of the lodge opens quietly as a black-haired Taldan peeks inside. The human is barely a man; he appears to be around 16 years old, and the look on his face confirms he is far from an experienced adventurer.
"Hello?", says the man shyly, as if wishing to not be heard, and proceeds to enter the lodge, looking around him in awe, before grabbing a seat and starting to hum an old Taldan tune.

A grubby looking gnome with odd looking tools hanging from his belt, walks into the lodge. He retrieves a piece a rice paper covered in calligraphy from the unknowable depths of his pockets and speaks with a (for a gnome) flat and humorless voice.

"Venture-Captain Amara Li is looking for a team to go to Minkai and explore a haunted mansion. I'm looking for agents willing to travel, obviously."

With that, he climbs up on a chair and awaits the volunteers.

A dark-haired Taldan woman dressed in fine-but-rakish clothing-- leather trousers, a scarlet cloak with a lining of gold silk, a white poet's shirt-- glances up from the bar at Iddo's humming.

"Hey there, kid," she smiles, and gives Iddo a wink. "That's a good one, that song. Haven't heard it recently. I'll buy you a drink for it."

Iddo starts and looks at Miranda, obviously embarrassed.

"Oh, I didn't think anyone would listen! Thank you very much. I learned it at the Kith back in Oppara." Iddo stops for a moment as his eyes trail off to look at the experienced Pathfinders sharing stories at another table.

"I forgot to introduce myself!", he then adds. "I am Iddo Blackstone, from Karakuru in Taldor." He turns his look towards Miranda's face, then immediately shyly averts his gaze.

"Do you... uh... have a name?", he asks with a confused chuckle.

Miranda grins, one elbow propped on the table and her chin on her hand.

"Ha, do I. The Marquesa Miranda de Renard of Elbistan, laddie-- no need to bow, I put my trousers on same as you."

Miranda is drinking a wine from Kyonin and gestures for another glass to be brought over. "So you're new to the Lodge, eh? I'm retired myself, but occasionally I pass out missions to those earning their stripes. What can you do besides hum?"

Iddo looks at the dwarf, then back at Miranda.

"My teachers at the academy said I'm a very good storyteller. I can also cast a few spells", he says, "But I think I'm not too good at that." he adds with a sigh.

"Oh, and I have this bow," he says gesturing at the shortbow strapped to his backpack. "I don't have any experience shooting at living things, but it should work to protect me if my spells and friends fail."

Iddo half-grins and looks at the dwarf holding up recruitment papers. "Well, I guess that's what I'm here for, isn't it?"

He gets up, stretches, starts to bow and then stops himself. "It was a pleasure, Miranda. I hope to see you again."

He grabs his backpack and walks up to the dwarf in order to volunteer for his first assignment.

A rotund half orc dressed in studded leather with strings of fruit hanging from his belt is carrying a blood stained spear swings open the front door, and nearly tramples a half pint of a dwarf in the process. He sniffs the air deeply and bellows: "Any paying work here? Luurg need coin for beer and women."

Slipping quietly past the half-Orc and settling into a comfortable chair, I chatter quietly with the fox at my feet and draw several books from my haversack.
As I flip through one, I regularly cross reference from others and make increasingly detailed notes in the margins.
Eventually, I scratch the fox under the chin, feed him some biltong and remind him not to fret: "Never fear, I'm sure we'll take an assignment soon, then you can stretch your legs and get some fresh air."

Luurg eyes up Mylvwara as she skirts past him. "Well hi there Elf lady. Care to buy a broke and thirsty fella a beer?" He then proceeds to check out the fox. "Seen any good paying work for a new Pathfinder around Miss Foxy lady?" As he chuckles to himself at his fine wordsmithing.

Luurg hastily accepts Mylvwara's 'invitation' and pulls up a chair and drops his bulk down in it. The chair doth protest however Collapse: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7 but it manages to creak and groan but stays in one piece. He then proceeds to flag down the nearest waitstaff. "A pitcher of warm grog for me and ahh she'll have an Elf beer?" He looks very unsure of what to order for someone else.. especially a proper looking Elven woman.

Aware that 'elf beer' is sometimes slang for water, other times for fine wine, I interject with the waiter, "White tea, please."

I offer something of an explanation to Luurg, "I've been reading a lot about Tian Xia lately, and you can get almost anything in Absalom..." then I catch myself, "Sorry, my name is Mylvwara: I'm an archivist for the society usually but sometimes I like to get out in the field. Luurg nods and follows along with the Elven woman. While he's a large fat half orc he does seem to have some 'muscle' upstairs, and just lacks a bit of refinement. "I've never traveled too much. I know nothing about what a Tian Xia is. But I can say for sure that the ships coming to Absalom have lots of stuff on board. Stuff I don't have any idea what it would be for... maybe them gnomes?" As he points to the small dwarf he nearly knocked over.

"You should get out in the woods more often. It does good things for your body. The sun would give your skin a nice tan, it looks a bit pale. Maybe make some maps of some places for the Pathfinders? Two crows one rock?"

A fox with gleaming, almost human-like, eyes deftly steps into the lodge. He looks around at the Pathfinders gathered, and with a brief flick of his tail, morphs into a Tian-Shu human man, dressed in flowing orange-red robes. His short hair is jet-black, but flanked on both sides with streaks of brown and white.

"Greetings, fellow Pathfinders. I have been sent by Venture-Captain to recruit 6 novice members for a task he wishes to be done. The nature of the task, unfortunately, he has chosen not to reveal to me. Please gather at the corner of Market and Bakers Streets at mid-day tomorrow."

With that, he morphs back into the form of a fox, and with a flick of tail, disappears through the door.

Would like everyone to be able to post at least once a weekday, and at least once over the weekends. If there are more than 6 sign-ups by end of next week, I'll conduct a lottery to select. Thanks!

A Varisian woman walks into the lodge, shuffling some cards

"At long last, the Pathfinder Society has reassembled the Numerian device known as the Sky Key. Initial tests suggest it is capable of projecting a location’s past into the present, allowing Society agents to peruse books from destroyed libraries and speak with echoes of long-dead heroes. Now that it has perfected the Sky Key’s controls, the Pathfinder Society is prepared to extract a slice of Absalom’s history and bring it into the present; however, there’s no telling what might be waiting inside—or who in the present might wish to wield the same power.

"Will you be part of the investigations? I am looking for at most five Pathfinders that have completed their first few missions"

Recruiting for the PbP gameday 5 Special: 7:00. Tier is 3-4

Liberty's Edge

Spells:
1st: 2/3, Judgmt: 0/1, Ill touch: 5/5
Current condition: two negative levels Rogue 2/Inquisitor 2; HP 17/17 27; AC 18 (T 14 , FF 14); Init +8 ; Fort +5, Ref +6 , Will +6; Per +10

A thin man in a long, dusty trench coat walks into the lodge, and briefly scans the crowd. With a hoarse call that barely breaks a whisper, he calls out to the assembled group.

"All right, you shiftless group of layabouts. It's time to get to work. I need at least one more experienced agent to help us break the back of the society's enemies, and hopefully hobble a notorious slave ring in the process. Any true friend of liberty should be lining up at a chance like this."

He grimaces at various points about the room before shuffling back out into the street.

I am recruiting for (at least) one more slot for a run of The Slave Master's Mirror (Tier 3-7) for Gameday V. Recruitment is here: Recruitment. Right now the group is leaning towards the lower tier, but that could change based on new party members.

Shadow Lodge

Male Human Barbarian 14

A very muscular, blonde human man enters, wearing a breastplate, with a small arsenal of martial weapons sheathed on his belt and strapped to his back. He glowers at the assembled Pathfinders.

"Me Mash!!!" He announces, then pauses as if thinking for a second. "Me Ventoor Cap'n Mash!!!" he corrects himself.

"Ventoor Cap'n Valsin want some of youse new recruits for mission in Abs'lom. Show up soon. Boat leaving."

With that, he flings a sign up sheet at the crowd and leaves.

Recruitment thread: Fromper's Consortium Compact for PbP Gameday V, starting August 27

This is an evergreen scenario, so you can play it with level 1 PCs as often as you want, and once with a level 2. This is standard, not core.

I'm an experienced player and GM (3 stars), and I've played a few games of PbP, but it's my first time GMing in PbP. So you may need to bear with me as I figure out stuff like posting maps and things. I chose this adventure, because I've already played and GMed it twice each, so I know it well.

And yes, my first Society PC really is a Venture-Captain now.

"I am a bit new here. Which way to reporting?"

Signed up for kuey's lottery. Any other low-tier or evergreen tables open?

Have been DMing D&D for sometime, and decided to jump upon Gameday for my debut in DMing PFS PbP. This is recruiting 6 level 1-2 characters for 6-10 The Wounded Wisp, non-Core. (As an evergreen, you can play this unlimited number of times with level 1 characters and once with a level 2 character.) Please sign up here if you're interested. Decided to do the selection early as the sign-up list was getting quite long. The lottery was conducted in the recruitment thread. For those not selected, I hope you would have time to pick up another game. Also, I would likely run this again in the 2nd slot of Gameday V, so if you're still interested, you have first dips.

Please head over to the campaign's discussion thread.

The next day, the fox with the gleaming eyes waits patiently outside the Flaxseed Lodge for the six novice pathfinders who have volunteered for this mysterious task. He gestures with his nose in the direction of Market Street before disappearing into the undergrowth with a flick of his tail

Sorry, I must have messed up something in the thread when setting up. Please use this campaign discussion instead.

With a bloody hand tightly clutching a pack of note cards, Dismoon finds an empty seat with enough space to recline and recover a bit, though she looks no more relaxed after doing so. "Ale...imperial. Send it over!"

I imagine I've missed most of the gameday signups by now

Male Human (taldan) Fighter (Aldori Swordlord) 03

"Make one for me too. And here's a few crowns... I won't have a lady pay foe her drink" says a tall and somewhat handsome man garbed the way of the Aldori.

There's a few people still trying to find replacements for their games. And those like me who missed the chance to find a CLASSIC game of Serpent's Ire and would be glad to be able to play that...
