Sahba's dark skin and clothing identify this Keleshite beauty as from Qadira. Black hair, streaked with pure white, falls in free curls below her shoulders. She's dressed in scanty gauze, more suited to warmer climates. Her face and lean body are young, still mid-teens, but her golden eyes show little of the spark of youth.

A sharp-eyed observer may notice a tattoo at the base of her neck.

Tattoo background:
It is actually two tattoos, one for identifying the slave trainer, and the other the slave owner, one of the many hundred princes. One day she'll have the money to have the tattoo purged.

Sahba carries the refined mannerisms of a high born, in sharp contrast to her ragged appearance. She is demure and refined, except when discussing compulsion or slavery, when she is quick to anger.

Private Backstory:
As the daughter of noble's concubine, Sahba was entitled to citizenship in Qadira, but when both parents were killed by one of the hundreds of princes and her death records forged, she was marked a slave and sent to the trainers in Sedeq to be broken in. Despite her young age, she was trained as a concubine, and learned dance and calligraphy. Sahba's sorcery manifest when the prince responsible for her parents' assassination attempted to rape her. As the house burned, she escaped into the night, and fled Qadira.

This experience has marked her deeply, and she loathes slavers and rapists with a passion that can literally be described as "burning". Despite a young education suitable for wealth and station, her circumstances have changed dramatically over the past few years. Since fleeing Qadira, Sahba has spent the last year alone and on the run; hiding from those who would return her to Qadira and those who might take advantage of a young girl alone.

At night she's troubled by nightmares of a maelstrom of fire and wind and storms and magic. She doesn't know their source, but as the nightmares grow stronger, so do her powers.

Sahba does not yet know whether she carries the bloodline of the Ifrit or the fire elemental, but she does have an affinity for fire and deception.

Sahba wishes she could turn her back on the county that forced her exile, but still harbors dreams of revenge and justice, where she takes her rightful place in elite of Qadira society.
