Jim is completely distracted from whatever's going on in his class, as he has begun to formulate ideas concerning the defense of the planet.
Phaezeriel sits quietly. If any knew the body language of demons they might recognize the disgust and anger that still surged in him after the confrontation in the statue room.
Ori just sat at her desk in complete shock. Of all the explanations that she expected for the sudden explosion, that was certainly not on the list. Her rowdy classroom was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
And then that abruptly ended as it seemed everyone was trying to talk and ask questions at once.
"You will all remain silent! Questions and concerns will be voiced in an orderly fashion. I will not have this become a free for all!" Her voice shook, just a little, but Miss Jones was not about to abandon her discipline policies for a little thing like the potential end of the world.
"You may write down what you have to say on a piece of paper and pass them to the front and I will read them off for discussion in an orderly fashion."
"Those of you who don't calm down right now will be coiled until you do. You are upsetting my snakes." Ormarr says as class becomes very loud. The settle down almost immediately. It wasn't fun being wrapped up in serpents.
"Calm down before you knock any vials over! I won't be fixing and mutations you give yourselves!" Razule warns.
Adsila says nothing. Instead she reaches out to her flowers and changes the scent they give off to carry a calming sensation through the air. Then she increases the strength ten-fold.
Once at the door he knocks.
The door opens and Enre can see the Headmaster standing there with someone who looks like Enre.
"Enre, this person says he is your older brother."
Kitty continued to sit quietly on the floor, sort of frozen in place until Saffire bit her lightly on the ear. She flinched and looked around. Mr. Ormarr was yelling at the other students for making so much noise and upsetting the snakes. The snakes were starting to move restlessly and she could feel distress from them. She absently hummed a soothing tune, not really aware of what she was doing.
Several of the snakes calm down slowly as Kitty hums, swaying slightly to the sounds. Ormarr glances at Kitty for a moment, but then has to go pry a student away from a boa constrictor.
After Ryo's speech...
"Well, there you have it. I appreciate you all staying calm and quiet while the headmaster spoke. Now, if anyone has any questions, although I am one of the newer faculty here, I shall do my best to answer them."

Okay, that was it, they were too loud for his headache now. Oneiro pulls his desk away from the others as far as he can and makes earplugs out of paper, blocking out all the noise. He leaned back and closed his eyes, content to cut himself off from the class.
A particularly unruly student who was apparently prone to temper tantrums when upset found themselves wrapped up in paper chain and Bonnie found herself face to face with a paper dinosaur.
"Bonnie, I do believe I told you to stop drumming," Ori said, flustered. "Now if the rest of you will please just sit down quietly..."
::Phaeze....are you okay? I know you're still upset. Trust me, you're not half as upset as I am right now. It wasn't your brother who blew up the planet. But we have to pretend like we're calm and okay so that the others don't panic.::
Fei sits very still after the Headmaster's announcement as the questions start flying from the bleachers, watching the (still soft) glow on his cuffs and waiting for the emergency homeroom to end so he could get to the workshop.
What appears to be a recording of the Headmaster sounds over the PA, letting the students know they can leave Homeroom now.
Aananda looks tired as she tries to field questions from the students.
"Look, space is something like sky only now it just goes on and on and on for longer than you can even imagine. What we're on is called a planet and it's basically a big piece of rock orbiting a sun, okay? Yes, it moves....no, the air doesn't fall off and neither do you. For crying out loud, gravity still works," she said, pinching the bridge of her nose, trying to deal with the stress headache that was starting to be overwhelming.
She breathed a sigh of relief when the signal for dismissal came.
Respecting what appeared to be a very great need to be alone with her thoughts, Fei waits for the bleachers to empty before standing, bowing deeply to his sabumnim and carefully making his way to the workshop to offload the excess energy from the earlier confrontation with the spirit.

As they are walking out of homeroom...
"Umm Nala, did that make any sense to you? I understand what the Headmaster said, but...kind of defies the natural order of things a bit.
How does one get so much power as to rearrange worlds?"
"You are all dismissed. If any of you have questions, my door is open."
Once at the door he knocks.The door opens and Enre can see the Headmaster standing there with someone who looks like Enre.
"Enre, this person says he is your older brother."
Enre looks at the man who says he is, his older brother. Staring at him he wonders what he wants. He than says "Sorry if I do not seem more excited but the last time, I met a brother of mine he was attacking my town."
Caedes looks at Enre carefully before saying "Oh yes, he is the second oldest child, went by the nickname Chain. He was raised by our father who is very much the warmonger. Now than I have some questions. When we saw me did you wish to prove your combat prowess against me?"
Enre looks at him oddly than shakes his head.
Caedes seems shocked "Have you ever had an urge to prove your combat prowess, to show your status or that you are the best?"
Again Enre shakes his head but says "You sound like a Lycan."
Caedes appears shocked once again before asking "Have you ever attacked anyone first without any reason?"
Enre shakes his head once more confused by the line of questions.
Caedes grins after seeing the answers he than asks "Who raised you?"
"My mother, she was the commander of the guards and military from my home town." Enre says.
Caedes thinks for a moment before saying "She trained you, in combat but you never thought to use it as a way to gain status or never used it just to make yourself feel better?"
Enre shakes his head to the question.
Caedes grins once again before saying "This is wonderfully news, this means we can live as other races do." Caedes than turns to Ryo "I have two requests for you Headmaster. The first is if I can enroll my son and daughter into this school. My son is fifth-teen and my daughter is my brothers age. The second request is can you tell me who the leaders of this planet are? I have a question to ask of them."
Tamrin sends out a message to Aananda, Ryleh, Ryo, Ephebe and James.
"When everyone is able to get away, we need to meet at the cottage please."
His voice echoes the weariness everyone is probably feeling at the moment.
"Miss Tanaka?" Ormarr says as he places a hand on her shoulder, trying to get her attention. "You may leave now. Thank you for humming to the snakes. They enjoyed it."
"If they are anything like Enre here, I'm sure that can be arranged." Ryo says before he gets Tamrin's message. "I apologize, but there are matters I must attend to. I'll send you the paperwork and a list of classes your children can pick from. Until then, you are free to use my office to keep talking with Enre or explore the school with him."
After shaking Caedes' hand(careful to use his mechanical one since he knows how strong Enre is), Ryo steps out of the room and to his own children, calming them and soothing them until they were sleeping and dreaming of better things. He kisses them once each before stepping into his house.
"Sorry it took so long."

Across the city the crystal monoliths echoed their resonance. Upon the gestalt mind's conclusion, Velvarmisan was plane shifted to the entrance of the school. He will pull the bell cord and await admittance.

Vai walked up to Professor Aananda after the dismissal, a little hesitant to impose. "Um.. Ephebe said I shouldn't go anywhere alone.. but everyone else already left."

Last to leave Professor Keaton's classroom, Phaeze finally responds to Ephebe.

I am here if you wish to talk or if you need any of the support and defense I can offer. I was withdrawn because I know that an angry demon can make many people very frightened and hostile. I was holding in my anger so that I would not cause any additional distress.::
As he flies through the halls, he hears a familiar voice.

Landing on the head of a statue outside the classroom, Phaeze contacts Vai

"Oop. Nevermind, Phaezeriel said he would go with me." Vai smiles and bows to Aananda in a manner similar to Fei. ::Thank you... I think I need to go sleep after today.:: Vai walks out and spots Phaeze pearching on top of the statue. She smiles slightly at the sight. "Hey. Sorry to impose on you like this."
Now that everyone is gone, Jim comes up to Aananda's desk.
I'm sorry I couldn't do more during the fight. The fact that I could even hold up is actually fairly remarkable. I only just held on to the end, and if it weren't for some strange, unknown energy, I wouldn't be here right now. If there's anything you need of me, just tell me, okay? Jim will proceed to leave, then.
"Oop. Nevermind, Phaezeriel said he would go with me." Vai smiles and bows to Aananda in a manner similar to Fei. ::Thank you... Phaeze smiles at Vai, It is never an imposition to help a friend. I am always available to help if you need it, and please never think of it as an imposition.
Phaeze hops into the air and flies next to Vai as they head to Vai's room.
So what do you think of all this planet-inside-out business?
Vai walked at a steady pace, eyes a little downcast as she speaks. "I... I knew Agartha wasn't the only world. I'm.. I've come from another world. Professor Sunwake... Tamrin told me that Agartha was protected from... I guess I should start at the beginning. There's... someone who might be coming after me. Agartha was supposed to be protected against his kind finding it... but now. All the protections are gone now. That's why I need someone with me at all times, in case he finds me." Vai looks at Phaezeriel apologetically. "I... I'm not making much sense am I?"
"Be careful, Vai," she said affectionately as the girl left with Phaezeriel.
"No, Jim, it's alright. You did everything you could. Thank you."
::On my way, love,:: she sent back to Tamrin. As soon as all the students were gone she headed through the stone straight to the cottage.
"Sorry it took me so long. I had to wait for all the students to leave before I could."
Jiminy and Fieri teleported into the cottage.
"So what's up?" he asked, tense.
"I'm not going to bother asking how freaked out the students (and most of our teaching staff) are," Tamrin says with a sigh.
"Krays, Fieri - assume that the contents of this conversation do not leave this room, even if some of it won't make much sense to you at the moment," he says to the two newest members of the family with the seriousness of a heart attack.
"Alright...the Harbinger was thankfully in-system when this happened. They're seeding the outer system now with more early-warning devices and a bunch of 'deterrants' to discourage coming any closer than the fringes. All that will do is buy us time, but it's a start."
"They registered a massive energy and magic spike when Tar.....when the event happened (as well as all the hallmark readings of an inhabited planet). That means that any other ships in the area with respectable long-range sensors could have conceivably picked up that spike too. "
"What else can we bring to bear from planetside to help? Any ideas...?"
