Sorry for my sporadic posting of late. I've had extra real life stuff to take care of due to upcoming holidays. I doubt I'm alone in that. :)
Today the kidlet and I made some clay ornaments. We try to make some sort of ornament every year, some more temporary than others. Some years we never make it past cutting out a few paper snowflakes. But this year since I'm not in the middle of taking exams for a change, we've been able to get in a few more projects.

So, I may have a creative solution, but it may or may not actually work, so I was going to ask the audience.
With this spell:
Absorb Toxicity
You can take the poison out of an area, not just neutralize it.
Now, does the kiss of life count as being in contact with it?
XD

@Lurch: Ehos has the sorcerer bloodline ability Perfect Voice, which allows him to understand any attempts at verbal communication. I haven't been following Alys' story closely, so let me know if this changes anything from your last post. Ehos may be able to understand Alys.

I haven't seen it, no. Don't spend much time on TV these days. Pretty much just stuff on Netflix and even then usually only when the SO is watching it.
Midori's stuck in the unenviable position of being simultaneously proud of being a ninja, but not actually liking it that much. She just figured that's the way the world is, and in a few short weeks she's repeatedly had her worldview either challenged or completely shattered. Lots of inner turmoil going on. :)

Incidentally, Magic (and others)...
If you use any abilities or skills to help you determine something, just let me know and I'll reply when able.
Per my reading of Magic's spell-- that's an environmental thing, not necessarily poison IN someone, so ... being the aware person you are, doubtful that'd work without modifications.
Toodles.

You're still kicking so you might as well kick ass
We've all screwed up, we've all failed, I did that a lot last year and am suffering for it now, s&+* happens,

I know what it does rules as written.
I'm seeing if we want to allow it to do this in our rules light game.We could make it a higher spell level.
This just seems to me that it's the only way to fix this outside of just dropping him back at the school, but where's the fun in that? Plus it'd be fun characterwise, I think.

Sorry for my absence yesterday. Bad vertigo day....well, no, today is a bad vertigo day. Yesterday was a really bad vertigo day. You're glad not to have had to deal with me at that level of crankiness.
Re: the poison thing, might be a story reason (ie keeping Dami's PC out of the action while he's running the scenario) so the convenient answer becomes you don't have the equipment/ingredients/whatever necessary to make this happen right now.
Not sure what icehawk is talking about yet, but now I'm worried....

lynora |

And caught up....so yeah. Well, the thing is that there are only two/three classes. The two combined classes had gym time in the morning around first/second period. Only the older kids (8-12) were left in the gym and the younger kids (4-7 year olds) were taken outside for playtime because it was too big a class to handle. The two classes will split up eventually, but it requires another teacher, who is already waiting in the wings, but hasn't been officially hired yet. Having a class of 6-9 year olds would require yet another teacher as it would be splitting the class in three instead and I don't have a third teacher. So not really sure where they came from unless they're effectively holograms to keep Advaran from getting bored....
Ephebe's class which is currently being taught by Fieri has gym right after lunch, so no, Jacob would not have been in the gym at that point.

lynora |

And to clarify again, if Jacob does have a moment like that when he does get to gym class or anywhere else, the moment he acts to harm someone else he will be teleported to the white room. It's the detention holding cell where he will be kept until a staff member comes to let him out. He can't just run wild through the school.
In other words, Icehawk was correct, the detention wards should take care of the problem.

Thanks for the clarification, Lyn. I thought it might be a good idea to confirm everything with you before something got blew out of proportion from an in-game misunderstanding.
The bit about the wards was good too, in case something ever provokes Jacob.

The scenario that you folks have stepped into, per my grasp of it and plan, has one major hurdle, and two or three sub hurdles involved... If there's exploring of the situation.
At this time, there are three solutions to the main hurdle I can think of, surprising me is always fun, but... It'll take some time, which is unfolding to my delight. Go Jeran. Visual of a wolf doing the face palm is priceless, thank you.
As for Tryko'Sam, he's 'out of commission' primarily due to story result reasons, yet, definitely not due to any natural (because he isn't) reasons which mere eye sight hasn't revealed. I don't believe, again, the cure/spell proposed out of character will fly (though creative), yet, you're welcome to try it, or a variation-- but, I will add the following for consideration:
1) People arrived.
2) scene was set.
3) seconds later, two figures flying over (yet not rushed)
4) Tryko'Sam smoking/dying adaptive spell placed on his person
5) you were informed of situation, more as a guess, since no 'study' had happened /yet/.
It's literally been ten seconds or so.
In short, more info probably needed for proper addressing of issue(s), or you could snatch and grab and sort things out. :) updating, however.

More specifically, Double Strike makes it so you hit in both the First Strike combat round and the normal combat round. First Stroke just makes you hit in the First Strike round. They can't stack because Double Strike already does everything First Strike does, but also allows you to attack normally.
Exams are done soooooon. Yay.

Or technically... First Stroke makes you clutch your chest real quick! ;)

Have fun, Doomkitten. And don't worry about missing too much. I think it's likely that we will maintain a slow pace until after the holidays because people get drawn away for family obligations so much. :)
And good luck to those still struggling through exam season.
