Tell that to the designer of the Factotum. They are Inspiration Points from that class, just renamed due to also powerin the Taskshaper features, which use Moments of Change.
I could have just teleported there, but I've used that a lot already today. I try and do something diferent, and I get s!*& for it.

Sorry, it just seemed like your trying to say that you liking him makes him useful.

The Dalesman |

In that case, I am going to try and race up to the theater and catch a showing of Pacific Rim, if the storms here allow me. Dalesman has damned well earned a break from the 'Hell of Involuntary Moving' for a bit...

Oh. I thought you were just looking for something to do .. there are lots of dead that need to be resurrected. That is all the point i was making. nvm.

actually Roel is useful to Mel. you fixed her datapad without any effort at all. and besides Mel isn't always very useful either. heck most of the time she just causes more trouble than she fixes.
maybe that is why she can relate to him. Roel is good company in Mel's opinion. and that I guess can count for something.

Imperial Chronicler |

List of Folks at the Renkai thing:
Fei is also coming, and has a Neural Lace, so Immune too.
Just to clarify on that...Fei has to actually will that feature of his Neural Lace 'on', and when he does he also gets cut off from telepathic communication. It is 'off' at the moment (based on his posts at the start of the attacks).
(Also, he is already at the doorway to the Cafeteria, watching the escalating drama.)
And Fei is about to get Hew and company into the Cafeteria and away from this mess. Post inbound.... ;)

Yeah, but right now you're the person getting everything running.
What's upsetting is just that this is the second major plot event i have ever been in, and I'm basically useless.
First one involved igni, who basically accomplished nothing.
what I think is also funny...
Igni and Kai were the first boys Mel met at the school. Igni could have just as easily been Mel's boyfriend instead of KaiMel actually kind of liked igni better from the begining.
also, Roel fixed Mel's datapad so she could use that to help others. her sonic screwdriver and her datapad are pretty important to her.
until Roel left I was hoping that Roel was using his make whole trick to help Mel fix stuff. but of course I never posted that and well all sorts of wrong posts came from me and ...well lets not go there again...

Back from academic advising appointment...and lunch since after I was starving. I'd been too stressed to eat before. Apparently with good reason. Not the best news. Sigh. I swear I'm gonna be in college forever. :(
Anyways, catching up on what I missed now.

Seriously, I was hitting refresh like every half hour hoping the site would come back up...I may be a wee bit addicted to this game. ^.^

FireclawDrake |

I'm with Lurch... this is acutally how Dami and I started talking about Civ. We were all "What are we supposed to do with our evening?!". Hah.
Seriously, I was probably refreshing every 5 minutes, on the low end.
Dami - it's RL game tonight for me, how are you for a game tomorrow? The Iroquois desire Ghandi's blood. (Iroquois are my favourite, since they're the closest to a Canada nation we'll ever get in Civ. :D)

Damiani |

Wow, talk about crazy hyper speed actions at the Lifepod scenario.
So, correct me if I am wrong here:
We are onto round two, Anahita asked for advice and:
So, just how far did this villain get away after going from a prone to full running / charge position, or should I just silence my sense of rounds from now on?
Trying to re-read posts to determine options... Just, wow, the hyper speeds people act at sometimes. Ah, "rules light", I /keep/ forgetting, silly me!
Need to try that myself.
NOTE: Sarcasm and disbelief. :)

Couldn't you whip up one to resemble your "peeps"?
Roger on tomorrow, say, after 5pm Pacific?

I kinda want to believe that the site being down was an act of God. I wouldn't have gotten last minute summer reading done if I'd been able to be here. (Still didn't stop me from refreshing over and over . . . . )

Wow, talk about crazy hyper speed actions at the Lifepod scenario.
So, correct me if I am wrong here:
We are onto round two, Anahita asked for advice and:
Anahita stopped her concentration to prepare to act
Arthur /nearly/ flew instantly there
Mithros catches Ephebe, then proceeds to leap up and into his giant robot to give chase
Krays appears, surveys instantly what happens, does one or two spells immediately
Arthur is heading over quickly
The "villain" leaps up and dashes off after a bit of reveal So, just how far did this villain get away after going from a prone to full running / charge position, or should I just silence my sense of rounds from now on?

Well, we're on round three, but otherwise...
Arthur is on his way, but not there yet. I'm not sure where the Mithros catching Ephebe thing came from, but I don't think he held on very long. She was already mostly to the ground anyways having fallen to her knees before that from the dizziness I guess. But he did jump back in the robot (round two). So I think that he's intending to pursue and hasn't yet? And the girl's action began round three which is when she sprinted away. (I think.)
Well, yes, Krays would be able to instantly port there and figure out what's going on with his mate since not only empathic bond and death powers, but she actually told him telepathically. I think that his action to heal her takes place in round three as well since she called for help at the end of round two. Note: actual number of rounds passed is fuzzy due to sporadic posting times. I do know Ana has a couple rounds worth of actions to take though.

So, not quite. We are on round three by my count. Though I may have missed a person.
The way I am understanding action flow, Mithros went to support Ephebe (see below) in round two, the 'villain' revealed that she was an unwilling enemy, Anahita focused on trying to stem the tide of the adapting viruses, And Ephebe got super woozy.
In round three, Ephebe collapsed, Mithros suited up, Krays arrived, and the actual 'villain' woke up and yes, she did go from semi-reclining to a full leaping sprint - I mentioned she is extremely fast - And I have yet to get an action from Anahita.
So I am actually a little out of sync with Krays. Does the Champion teleport act like movement? or is it like a spell-like ability? I always thought it was counted as movement so they can teleport and still do something significant in the same round.

Damiani |

I'm adapting- what drives me batty is when someone does, what I understand is two standard actions in one round without a 'clear' means to do so, I.e. quickened feat or gross third party class abilities.
:eyes Ace:
Teleporting as a Champion is a movement ability, as I understand it, advise if not, I'll edit Anahita's post if so.
I also assumed the villain is still line of sight, Lurch.
And yes, Fireclaw, thought you might appreciate your influence there.
