Not to say you did bad maths or anything there Jivana, but Anahita's CMD seems... low. 10+12(BAB) should be 22 base. Another 2 for Huge. 24. 6 dex from the Wildshape means 27.
This means that between Anahita's strength and Dex... she has 4 modifiers.
I think you missed something, especially given that Anahita has always been described as "mighty". ;D
That, or /I/ am missing something crucial.
If you did mean CMD not CMB, that's waaaaay better!
Girlie has some serious defense, moves and curves, m'kay!? And her hair... OMG!!! xxxooo Hit on her, she /really/ doesn't mind and LOVES attention! Just tell her I said so, surprises are great!
:waves a sparkle filled greeting while holding some adorable wolf puppies:
I picked the bestest girly (i mean, come on, she is just too perfect and firery! Reminds me of a new born elemental) my eyes fell on, after my last rave and chill sessions on this water planet elsewhere.
Besides, while I'm no Time punk, I'm sure Ana'll be preggrrs in no time, or better!
Ooooo. Another planet is just coming alive, so precious!
Hope everyone is superlicious, remember- be awesome and share the gift of life with one another!

Question:
Spell Mastery has a pre-req of Wizard 1, but in the description does not otherwise limit what spells are affected, as long as you prepare them.
Lyn allowed me the feat, but I am now curious if I could use it with Divine spells, as I prepare them ala an Archivist.

Hihihi!
Me again, hi.
:looks up at quote:
Oooh, Arcane spell preparations! Very nerdy. I love nerdy- it's all the rage in some places. Weeee!
Uh... If you prepare a spell like a wizard, sure? But divine casters aren't like that. You really are only an arcane caster or divine, right? No class is both. Like, from what I know, witches are arcane casters even though they cast cures!
Well, you could 'dip' a class level though to be both. I love dipping! Chocolate, milk, amaretto, skinny, tee hee!
I love healing spells. Everyone should be a healing cleric! Woooo!
Anyhow, were where we?
Oh, uh, rules light! Don't be a cheater or something, yay! Adopt puppies and kitties and breed them for more puppies and kitties or we'll run out of images to link!
:glares sternly:
You don't want that, do you? I didn't think so!
Bye!!!! xxoxxooo

I would say no, since it let's you prepare spells without your spellbook. For Pathfinder, only wizards use spellbooks.

alchemists use something similar but I can't remember what they are calledsorcerers can use spell books but only learned sorcerers need to.

"What have we, learned today? STAY AWAY FROM AZTECS CAUSE THER'E F****** CRASY."
The Aztecs are possibly the most brute culture ever made...
I don't wanna say why, it makes my skin crawl.

Mongols are much more brutal. They just so cool.
I have studied extensively both the mongols and Aztecs. Love the Mongolian short bow the as for the Aztecs. For a while my family had a rumor going through thinking we we're descended from them.
Sadly it wasn't true. A genetic blood test proved that. :(

Ulp.
The Aztecs removed human skin in one large sheet. Thier high priest wore it for months straight. I don't want it know what the Mongols did.| Tybalt Baneko |
I've always kinda liked the Aztecs, if only for the art.
I hate vikings. They did nothing helpful. Nothing. All they did was kill people. That's it.
Dom Waverider
That was just a religion thing. Really that's not so bad when you look at there religious practices. But they did make sure who they killed died fast. That's a lot more than most other cultures. One example is Vlad. I'm sure I don't have to explain his methods. His were wrong.

Aren't religious reasons the number one cause for deaths in our world thus far?
Give that a thought! Stop the killing, more life! Love and live! Stop the hating!
Yay! More babies that way.

if you trace it back far enough 90% of all war is caused by population strain, about 95% of the rest is religion (a decent portion is/are both)

The found the Americas and then didn't tell anyone else. . . .
That's why Amerigo believed he was first.
Let's face it. Most world cultures have done some pretty horrible things. Except Switzerland. Switzerland is nice.
. . . . . Your nails are pointy. . . . .
Dom Waverider
Yep I'm pretty sure it is thus my point of you really can't say a culture is brutal because of there religion. Were the Aztec Incas and Mayans crazy.... Yes they worshiped Blood gods along with nature gods. They were however pretty cool.
Tybalt Baneko
Oh. I thought that was to Ice.
Vikings were still horrible, religious reasons or not.
I don't consider religion to be a justification for killing.
(Not that any rational person does.)
This is getting into Lyn's no religion debate rule territory, though. Let's stop while we're ahead. ;)
"Ace"
One of the abilities of the Chameleon, Divine Focus, lets Ace prepare and cast spells like an Archivist, from the 3.5 book Heroes of Horror.
They prepare spells out of a prayerbook, which I believe acts just like a Wizard's spellbook.
With that said, can Ace use Spell Mastery with his divine spells since he prepares them in a manner akin to a Wizard?

We don't want to make the Momma Lynora with her sick baby angry, no no!
<3 Lynora. Hope your baby is better soon.
Religion is silly! Waste of energy! People just need to cherish and respect one another and join at the hip to embrace life! YAY!
Then there'll be happy living people doing happy good things, with the focus on the people and not all this silly metal and tools that don't make people better at living!
Right?
Anyway, kitty face speaks truth! Less hate plz.
Tybalt Baneko
I think the major difference is PrayerBook. I think that would mean that it contains prayers which you pray to obtain spells with.
Imagine if there was a Christian archetype for Cleric. The spell book would be the bible and the priest or pope would read and pray from it to obtain Divine Spells. Same thing different theology. It's still divine granted spells no matter how you get them.
Jivana
Oh phoooey!
If it takes a book to read, whatevahs! to prepare spells (or a pet like those Witches) instead of prayer and/or meditation, why wouldn't the Spell Mastery work!?
Anyhows!
Boooooring... rules like, amirite? Look at the 'actions' the feat covers, not just the words-- plus, remember, your 3.5 foo isn't always Pathfinder comparable.
I think? Anyhow.
Oh, I said that earlier. Weee.
Mmm.. nap time.
:curls up into kitten form and naps:

No prob. I just find how religions have influenced how people view cultures interesting. :)
Tybalt Baneko
Bottom line is: it doesn't matter How you get the spells so much as Where you get the spells From. :)

Not to nit pick /too/ much, but method of preparation is more important than the /where/, in my humble non-magical opinion.

I would have to go with Romans, some F-G stuff they did,
they once wiped out a city, killing every thing and I mean every thing, they then leveled it, then they put salt on the lands around it so nothing would every grow or live there again.
They had an rule that said, any celt found with face fluff was to throw off a cliff.
House hold saves would have one foot removed to stop them running away, and all teeth pulled out so they did not rot. They had city slaves locked in the swearers, who's job it was to "clean until death" and I'm not even going to talk about Roman mines.
The Games, I'm not talking about Gladiators, I'm talking the sticking of convicts on poles, covering them in Tar and setting them alight so as to illuminate the Gladiators as they did their fights.
After one or two slave (Spartacus) rebellion, they crucified 1000's of slaves and put them on show on the roads to Rome.
you have to go a long way to beat Rome for a brutal way of doing things

Sorry if I'm taking a while with marcell. Rethinking posts is hard.
That's alright - I may be out for the rest of the night shortly, just trying to slip in some posts.
If anyone ends up waiting on me, please let me know.
Edit: Aha, the shuttle. Thanks for reminding me, I knew I was going to forget something. Sorry about that.

I've been wracking my brain trying to think of HOW to help the poor dorf, but ...
I just don't know what to do! Plus he's napping cutely, so ...
Anyone with any bright ideas? The poor thing. He wants to subconsciously get out, but who's going to go get him that a) knows he's there, b) can enter a demi-plane?
:(

Professor Tryko'Sam here, at your service.
Really depends on the level of gravity we're talking about.
On some level, they are similar effects (the crushing/pressure) of gravity's pull, is at time equal to the pressure of mass (i.e. the ocean above, at the 'bottom of an ocean' (depending on it's depth, obviously).
However---
Gravity is different in that it affects, everything, and if Carl's actually created a gravity 'pocket dimension'... well, that's magic, so, maybe, or maybe not.
Having magical 'universal forces' at play, is never a happy thing.
I suggest avoiding any 'gravity' use going forward, and stick to the Force thing!
Cheers.

ok, how deep is the ocean at deepest point, and how deep do high end RL submarines go.
On earth... deepest point is 34,994 ft
The max depth for current subs is classified max depth of mine was approx 1800 ft. My class of sub has been decommissioned since the 1990'
So the pressure would be 349.94 times 44
Posting from my nook no calcultor app so you will need to do the math

Went to doctor, got prescription, fed kidlet a little bit (hopefully this doesn't translate to another sleepless night) and managed to get something to eat myself. Now let's see if I can get some posts up before I fall asleep. :)
Good news Lyn
Carl's Gravity where silly there for a wile, he Raged and linked to the plane of gravity to do his thing, normally this never happens the the god made bands [GM tool he can never take off] would stop him from becoming runaway singularity. After he did his thing thats what the Arm bands did,
they shut him down after he had raged and save the plant, then close the link to the plane of Gravity, and sent SOS as Carl's Demi-Plane stated to collapse in on itself.
Then Arthur and tinman just the nic of time saved him form oblivion.
Way to go team metal
