What conflict is Jeran talking about? No conflict. I just thought that's what Onierio wanted me for.
Jeran is used to being in charge of a group who all sniped at each other all the time. He noticed that Tyrrin is stepping on toes left and right and is trying to tell her that before someone lashes out. Doesn't mean there will be any actual conflict, but he's used to dealing with lycans and they express dissatisfaction with punches. :)

I am not a fan (my loss, I assure you) of things done for/as comic relief. I do appreciate humor, but not when it's intended for children, I.e. Jar Jar Binks as an example, or emoticon abuse following posts IC because sometimes that totally rips my immersion into the scene off at times.
I'm a very serious person in my gaming. Hence all my requests in the past to "improve" on a few things, which are completely personal requests, not at all demands in my eagerness to promote that environment.
Hope this reveal makes sense.

This doesn't mean what we're doing in this game-- I can see the assumption, but, if you're going to go comedy, all I crave (and again, this is purely personal) is a more intelligent level of comedy.

Pretty much this. The scene is on hold for the moment until Yrrin is ready to go and all the other stuff with teachers getting involved is to expedite dealing with the aftermath. None of them are intended to find the location in time to deal with it directly.

Phaeze is getting involved because of reasons, and he is not the type to just 'handle it himself.' But yeah, doubtful anyone is going to be there to stop the ritual.
