To be fair, I don't open up people's skulls to get their abilities. Though it's still telepathic..
Well, technically Sylar didn't need to do that. He just did that because he liked it...please don't start opening up people's skulls though. It's a really bad habit. ;)

Yeppers. So whether concealment works against this guy or not is currently a moot point.
And now would be a good time for Enre to get the idea on how to revive Asch and act on it.

Well…looks like Asch is actually really good at dying…not really what I was hoping for with him……
It's definitely a function of the level. At this level it's pretty common to burn through raise dead and resurrection sometimes several times in an adventuring day. At one point I had a character need to be raised three times in a single day. The only reason it wasn't more is that the DM took pity on me. High level combat is very swingy.

My RL group quickly got bored with the normal means of bringing someone back to life. We have more fun with reincarnate now(or, should I say we have more fun seeing what my character will come back as?).
Awesome. :)
Wasn't an option with that character as she was kind of a plot point in and of herself, but would be a lot of fun to play with.Dragonborn3 |
I had a worshiper of Lamashtu that thought she had received her deity's blessing when she was turned into a Gnoll, a halfling that went human and, most recently, my Azlanti human that turned into a gnome and then a Quickling.
Fun times. Tried to get an in-game gambling ring up and running in Magnimar once.

How......boring. (^.^)
Yeah right, one has to find another body if his is destroyed beyond repair. The other ends up on another plane and has to find his way back. While the third has to wait days on end maybe longer for a new body to grow and then explain why he is not dead or rather undead while the angry mob eyeballs him. Oh yeah boring. ;)
Revise that, 75% of my guys are unkillable.

If death is no more than an inconvenience, yeah, boring.
Of course, that's the trouble I have with all of Avalon. Resurrection is a very simple matter right now.Krays |
I was considering giving Krays a true ress, but that's kinda powerful. Do you think him just merely denying a person to die is to powerful? Kinda of preventing the soul to pass on for a duration so healing can take place?

That sounds like it works as a once a day Champion ability.

Since the person being contacted by those who are sending her to Avalon is Tamrin the introduction needs to be when he has a minute to get the message.

I saw that in her write up, aye.
Assuming things wrap up with tonight's posts, I'll try to arrange something tomorrow morning if I can post. ^.^

Alright I have an idea. It involves Asch's father's voice activating more of Asch's vampiric abilities and when Enre picks up Asch's body it latches on and bites using his blood to heal himself. Essentially he gets a bite attack and being able to absorb life through th blood. Healed for however much damge he does. Like vampiric touch.

Works for me. Kinda like he's temporarily undead for real after all that negative energy and then gets revived back to the living by Enre's blood.

Well if Filne gets the job they can always send Asch to private lessons with him. Welcome to Undead 101, here you will learn to control yourself and deal with your undeadness. ;)
Because I wouldn't be a better teacher for that class. It's not like I spent 3 decades doing exactly that or anything.
Tamrin - Gunslinger of Tomorrow |
Asch you better hope your boss does not find out or you'll lose more then your casters. ;)
Considering Asch's Caster was 'bugged' so I could keep tabs on him, that boat's already sailed...

Yeah but your human now so having a snack teaching self control is not wise. He wont be tempted or a threat to Filne. But this is assuming he servives his boss. Anyone want to give odds on that? ;D

You're thousand of years old and can't spell "survives", what makes you think you'd be a better teacher? ;P
Besides, a 'snack' teaching him would be the best way for him to learn self-control.

Lets not talk grammer and spelling here as everyone is guilty. Mostly due to typing errors. Let it go.
Also I dont think putting a bottle of jack in plain view is going to help anyone at AA. Why would it work on a impulsive mood swinging teenager. Your just trying to get Asch in trouble. I see your evil plot, your bitter about vampires and want to torment Asch. Your channeling Vakkler's jerk spirit sense he has been exposed to Michael. XD
P.S. Really looking forward to Krays and Ephebe's fight with the metal dragon. ^.^

It was a joke. Didn't you see the smiley? Look, here's another one! ;)

Why would going cold-turkey be any different?
Vakkler Relkav |
He isn't bitter about vampires, he's bitter about being bitten (hey, alliteration!). I'd say he has the right to wish Asch's life a bit more difficult.
Funny how I'm the jerk, though, after Michael tries to kill me and sticks me more full of holes than an evoker in melee. You'd think he could channel his own jerkiness, but nooooo...

Yeah... all that came from you, Professor. You do remember why I started that fight, don't you?
