Geez people did you ever consider maybe I played it that way for a reason. I am a happy endings type of guy really but ending is the word. My first plan was to have a decent fight using the devil then drop the hook for Kalesril to stay and not move on. When lightning god came in I had to change things and make another hook for Kalesril to stay. Now without the duke I have no hook or even a way to set up a hook.
Kalesril has no reason to stay or have anything to do with the school now. If I am missing something by all means point it out to me. >.<

This place is of little need of him. Also Kalesril is not a goodie per se, he wants to restore himself. He gets rid of fiends because he does not like them (secret reason) and suspects one of the fiend races was involved. See where I am going with this, the duke was supposed to comfirm and direct him a bit before his demise. As only a duke or higher would know this type of stuff (secret reason #2), but someone blew him up before he could talk. ::Takes a rubber bat and beats the storm god over the head repeatedly:: I BLAME YOU
But really any help would be welcome at this point. I dont want to undermine anyones power or bring in another duke. So I got no more back ups, at least not believable ones and I really dislike story gems as I call them, where something convenient appears.

People will have their characters react how they will. It seems you had the guy attack school staff, and he got what he got, whether Nasima ended it or not, it would have ended. Our characters are over the top, and the staff is there to guide and if necessary police them, so they are fiat level power here.
Maybe when ya'll work on seperate story strings, there should be a little more involvement form all parties...
This is why I don't run any arcs...I don't want to step on anyone's toes, and am happy to just play in ya'lls sandbox.

At the risk of being called a meddler (since there are other issues still in play here which I will respect the sovereignty of), perhaps I can offer up one or two such things....
Jjust because devils are evil, scheming and opportunistic doesn't mean they can't still be loyal. Who's to say that some of his less-powerful underlings wouldn't want to exact some vengeance on the upstarts who did this (especially if they mistakenly believe mortals somehow did it).
If used sparingly, it could be a plausible reason for Kalesril to stick around - he could be part of the 'devil patrol' for the region around the school.
On the other hand, a place with people of similar power level and self-reliance might be a refreshing change from the norm for him. Why does he have to stick around just for devil-fighting reasons? He could just come to like the company here and want to stay (^.^)

Er, well, I did just offer one idea. :-)
Here's more, let me know if you can be flexible enough to work with any of these:
1. Nasima can tell you the last things the Duke said before Khoda iced him, including the info you need.
2. You can piece together that something was up, and with the assistance of others, do the proper research in the school to figure out what was up.
3. David can be an info source.
4. You can just decide to, you know, stay, and be wandering around in a purposeless funk (awesome for teenage-style RP! :-D) until another enemy arrives from whom you get the info you need.
5. FIELD TRIP TO HELL! YAY! What better way to test the skills of super- powered kids than a day in the Pit? Lots of ways to get you what you need there.

For the record the duke was called out. He spent all his time hiding and trying to stay hidden. I dont consider that attacking staff or waving around his power.
Demons I dont know. They are not known for detailed thinking and planning, much less gathering the sort of knowledge needed to have found out about Kalesril and the guy who forced him into his current condition. Thats why I picked devils in the first place. Thats up to how your going to run things Asch.

Not counting my guys lack of reason for sticking around. I dont think there are any left. Duke was the last fiend as far as I know. Solivala's little clockwork circus will make its way back to the tower. I am sure Vekklar will get his little toad horde under control. The school is a bit of a mess and some students are gone, some teachers will quit, and new teachers will show up. Not remembering any loose ends. Anyone else does?

The school uniform is dark green, sort of a cross between japanese school uniform and catholic school uniform...I took what worked for me visually since I had to draw it over and over and over and over and ....you get the idea. :)
For girls, white blouse, button-up vest, and pleated skirt which can be as long as knee length but most girls wear it a bit shorter.
Omni, I am going to send you an email here in just a few minutes. I need time to compose it. We can work out plot details as needed. You've received a lot of wonderful suggestions for how to weave Kalesril into the plot and I'm sure we can work with one of them.

It's not necessarily mandatory and there are people who have exceptions. Like Ephebe, cause skirts and super speed is a wardrobe malfunction in the making. :)

I haven't finished inking the first pages I did yet. I'm about halfway through the fourth. And now I have to do the linework for another page or two of new students and teachers that have come in since I finished the original sets of drawings. So, yeah, eventually after I get this all inked and colored it'll go up on my deviant art page and I'll post the links. But spare time is something I have precious little of during the school term so it goes at snail's pace. :)

As far as 40k goes i have grey knights and necrons...love the necrons...
Warhammer fantasy I like chaos and the lizardmen. In 40k I like the Blood Angel and Dark Angel marines. I did not say grey knights because they are OP and broken as all hell.
Yeah, well they are expensive, so they make you pay for the broken ;)
